  1. xD~A costs half a stock, all other followups cost one. They start regenerating two seconds after use but not when you're being hit. No stock gained from blocked chain ( ), one stock gained on hit. Let's just hope that the regen is crazy fast once it kicks in. If I'm reading this tweet by Udon right, we get 3.7K off throw "as usual", so he's probably referring to backthrow into Gasshou into chains. But it's also harder? idk Hirentotsu also appears to move Hazama forward? Probably due to the increased pushback on j.C. Its advantageous frames also seem decreased, since 5C > 2C > TK Hiren > Houtenjin doesn't work. Confirmation that the regen starts even in midair? He's talking about the stocks here and I'm not entirely sure what he means exactly, if someone could translate this I'd be grateful.
  2. It seemed like they wanted us to be more passive and zone more by decreasing our damage and boosting our Negative Penalty resistance in 1.1, which seemed fine. Now, the stock changes indicate that we won't be able to zone freely, as even retracting chains costs stocks which is the dumbest thing ever. And for some reason they thought that making OD Houtenjin do 5k was a good idea, while our main filler sends the opponent flying to oblivion and the rare raw lvl1 Zaneiga doesn't float. Whatever Pachi, just decide what you want this character to do already inb4 we can't ODc normals into OD Houtenjin or its min damage is absolutely shit and scales like crazy right off the bat. Or has ridiculously low P2 ( ̄ _ゝ ̄)

  4. I doubt the stocks will work completely the same, but with an extra one. There's definitely gonna be a restock nerf, or some big nerfs in other areas. It'll definitely be cool if I'm wrong though, triple whiff chain Tarzan fun

  8. Jin has no 236C special anymore lol, and most of the time it's safer to go for sj.2C anyway It's pretty strange though how often you see people dropping sj.C this way, even top players. I rarely see other characters dropping combos in silly ways like this. Is it a jinx? Do all Hazamas suck?
  9. I've seen more people drop sj.C because Gasai came out instead of failed Jabaki into Jakou lol It's still an ok quality of life change though, we currently have no specials mapped to the A button outside of stance.

In the beginning I was just like "yo this is 1.1 lmao", but was apparently wrong. Off to training mode edit Yeah uh... It's damn hard and totally not worth it. Old route off 5B > 5C > 3C does 3731 dmg and has lots of corner carry, while the "new" one does... 3779. j.B > 5B > 3C (old) 2716, (new) 2755 I thought that the damage difference would be a lot bigger, plus it looked like the ender would be more stable. The ender is indeed more stable, but it's not worth the carry loss and the much, much higher chance to drop it. j.C5 > 66 5C(2) > 6C works as well btw, this is the version I tested the damage on. If the timer allowed for an extra chain towards the end (4D~A > j.7D~D/66 2D~D), then it MIGHT have been kinda better, but you won't be able to do a Hiren ender this way.

Not when you confirm something almost at point blank midscreen, when you get an AA or CH and confirm it properly and whenever you hit people in the corner When you hit them from afar with something that isn't an air normal which allows you to dash up close to them, then yeah you can only do a few normals into 3C > Jabaki/Ressenga/stance cancel Damage off jabs, Ressenga and Gasaishou is really low no matter the situation but that's normal. You can still get 3K off 5A AA though

  16. Yes they have to be at a certain height, for instance when you do 3C > 22C the opponent is technically airborne, but that won't let you catch rolls with the safejump in the corner. The most common paths into 22C ender are 6C > 22C 6C > 22C > 5B(1) > 5C > 22C 6C > Musou > 5C > 22C > 5B(1) > 5C > 22C 3C > Musou > 5B(1) > 5C > 22C > 5B(1) > 5C > 22C Rehhyou > 5B(1) > 5C > 22C > 5B(1) > 5C > 22C Rehhyou > 5A > 5B(1) > 22C And yeah midscreen 3C > 22C IAD j.2C is kinda strict and doesn't cover all options, so it might not be worth it in most cases. I guess you should only use it when it'll get them right in the corner so they won't be able to get away by backrolling
  17. SMP doesn't affect Sekka's stagger/knockdown properties, so there's no reason not to do it when it's possible. After a stagger midscreen you can immediately start pressuring like usual, but without worrying about rolls, late techs etc. After a proper 22C on an airborne opponent in the corner, your best bet is to go for a j.2C safejump. Just hold up during Sekka, and press j.2C when you're falling. It'll catch rolls which you can easily convert into a combo with 5B, and if they neutral tech j.2C will whiff which gives you enough time to see whether they DPed or something I also forgot about midscreen 3C > 22C ender, which you should follow up with IAD j.2C. It should catch SOME rolls, I haven't been doing it at all lately so I don't really remember. This option does give you the best corner carry though

  20. Make sure the Zaneiga is green and you pick them up with it relatively high up the air Gasshou is really easy idk, really not strict at all
  21. Kinda silly question, but I was wondering if the customization plates are unlocked by playing story mode or something. I thought they unlocked along with the icons via ranked, but I'm still missing some even though I got into the dans
  22. This is why I'm concerned about Carmine. Very good pressure, but virtually no mixup and he needs to sacrifice health in order to keep pressuring. It seems really hard to open up a patient player, which potentially kills what Carmine is good at
