  1. Because in the video Makoto used it after Lunatic Upper, and Lunatic Upper follow ups are Mars/Star Gazer/Infinite Rush/Lander Blow so it must be Lander Blow unless Lunatic Upper can go into Shooting Star without our know.
  2. Must be your cellphone because the quality is okay for me. Lander Blow is laaame, i expected something new to have fun with not the same move we had but with a different name (Maybe it doesn't share the SMP with Shooting Star 236D?) We don't need to be at a very close range to the corner to start our corner combos now thanks to 5D untechable time buff and 214ACD Wallstick (but it seems we lost 5D > 214ACB ) 214ACB is slower, we can't put it in our combos or use it on crouching confirm combos anymore. Its not only 2D that launches lower now, the whole game gravity feels increased now. Until now all the changes revolves around Makoto's reward.   3. The game undergoes a big change now, its hard to tell how good Makoto will be from reading the changes or even from first day thoughts. I can see what they are trying to do with most of these changes but nerfing the backthrow like this is weird.

Makoto's overdrive is the same as her enhancement in Abyss Mode, all drive becoming lvl3 means that we can benefit from lvl 1 drives speed while having the lvl3 high reward which opens new combo routes like for example: 2A > 5B > 5CC > 2D lvl3 > Combo assuming it will be the same as Abyss mode.

  8. I have a bad feeling towards the new Makoto. She will keep getting worst and a lot of players will switch to Bullet and forget about her ;_;
  9. New faces YESSSSS, much better than turning Kokonoe or jubei into playable characters. So much changes happened but Noel still have her retarded drive. The new HUD looks slim and cool but i want better than that, also note the heat meter is sperated into 4 sections for all characters not just jin and the burst icon changed into one that can be recharged like GG? Now, what ASW will do to Lambda and Mu?

  13. Got my 5K match with Extend Makoto today... Im still scruby as hell. Shouldn't they announce BB3 by this time Edit: Exactly 75% of my matches in extend were against Ragna :v
  14. All characters are ok to start the game with, i highly recommend that you do the first 1~9 challenges for each character. Its better to actually play the other characters a bit to explore and learn the game faster and keep your focus on Makoto. 214AC needs timing. Don't input 214A then Mash the C button, that a common mistake that a lot of players fall for.

  16. Nice Anti Airs you did there. Try to IB Mu's late gatlings and SoD, that should punish her or put her in a pinch if she tries to reset to neutral. Barrier pushback will get you away from her 2A/2B/5B pressure which is dangerous as it can gatling into 6B. If she tries to IAD above you then do a quick air grab because the air grab hitbox covers a bit of the area behind Makoto and above her, try to anticipate her backdashes which usually happens when you IB her SoD or when she do something stupid in neutral that gives you the advantage to rush in.

  20. Only Lambda and Carl can miss up your bnb in CS2. Ah, thank god in Extend you are not forced to do 2366AD in your combos or i would be screwed with my Arcade stick xD
  21. Extend is same as CS2. The newcomers just keep doing either a braindead ground rush or jump on you with j.CC. Confirm 5D into 214ACB in corner for piss easy high damage. @Omni: are you going to GG or P4?... Or?
  22. Makoto is piss easy to play. She take no practice just like ragna. But in match she have to deal with a lot of shit to win. Actually she is considered one of the hardest characters in blazblue by top jp players because they care about the characters meta game in the match more than the learning procces of the character. Edit: recruited all the makotos i met to visit the forum ;3
  23. Problem is no one have the enough balls to main her They all play her as a sub or have a secondary main with her.
