Nice, i actually learned a couple of stuff from this video, anyway i'll try my best to add tips: -Try baiting the mashing or jump outs by giving them a false gap like eg: 2A > 2A > 2B > 44 > 6C it works great and a better alternative to 5B > jc since we lost it -I don't know how credible is 214CD in CP, but try to go for it if you are forced into doing 5B > 6C because of Barrier pushback, eg: 2A > 2A > 5B > 6C > 214CD. a lot of players use IB barrier to push you out forcing you into resetting or going through weak, easy to anticipate strings like 2A > 5B > 6C were they could poke you out easily. -Getting 5CC gatling quickly then going for 6B can do wonders eg: 2A > 5CC > 6B, they either eat your overhead or miss the chance to IB the 5CC which makes 6B gatling a frame trap instead of a gap. -Yeah, Makoto tick throw set ups are sick. Remember, doing meaty j.2C over Makoto can beat her Corona Upper lol, its legit. You can use CSEX critique thread. -

She only have one overhead, and that overhead have an extremely limited accessibility. Other mix up would be Lunatic Upper > Mars/Gazer which is not safe because Gazer is worse than Gauntlet Hades on block and Mars also becomes punishable on IB and sadly Mars is piss easy to IB. After all this fuss lets say you got a hit, you will get rewarded by 600/2500 which is pretty shitty since our neutral doesn't allow us to get in easily so having a no advantage over the defender in reward is just baaad. Mars/Gazer mix up gets dramatically better if you have 50% heat but Makoto can't farm up heat easily like Ragna. Our whole offensive strength is in our fast full of traps string that can spell death to any character without a reversal, rare are those who appreciate her blockstring because it scales sick well if you know how to confirm guards and frame traps confirm etc... But still vs reversal characters we can't fully utilize our offense I know that this is general for all characters to hold down their offense a little bit vs reversal characters but its damage to Makoto far more hurt her than other. -

Didn't he used to rage about her in CS2? Meh i don't care. I don't remember Goro running around and scoring out brainlessly easy hits that dish out 4K from each. He was awesome because he played well, some tuned down damage won't be problem for him. I won nearly all locals in here just like CS2 days without even pulling out any extra effort. If anything then the guys are still boo'ing me and calling me fraud for playing Makoto even in EX lol. Lets not forget that jbbs lists are made by anonymous players from all different levels of skill, and that Makoto was and always considered "meh" by low level players as her Neutral and Offense only shines at high level. I think she is a standard good character both technically and reward wise, play well = win, hard match ups requires some work to win as always, especially Tao. A lot more fun? New OD and Cosmic Ray are fun yeah but not all that fun, either people are seeing something i don't in the new Makoto, or that i played Makoto so much to the point i don't enjoy it anymore. -

You've only read two lists out of 100 list out there on the JBBS. Bang was ranked Mid in most of em, few lists ranks him low. Makoto was ranked low in almost every list, Amane was ranked low in most of em... and trash in the rest of the lists lol. -

Dunno, i saw Ryota switching into Azrael? not sure, and Keita have switched to Bullet. I doubt that Bang sucks, if anything then he looks pretty fair and actually more fun in CP imo, FRKZ change might cause some players to drop him though . And Dora won't be Dora if he didn't use Bang I honor character loyalty more than anything. -

Same old Space Counter Hitbox. Anyone else noted how DRAMATICALLY 5D untech time loses if used after j.D? its too harsh to be caused by proration scaling unless they changed the scale. Just checked the top ranked Makoto players on players guild website. I only recognized Matsu, SD.YAHKID, Kuroku and HearNana. The 1# Makoto player uses a diffrent name (he might be Ryota). Matsu is ranked 2#, his bang made it to the GodsGarden finals. Such a godlike Makoto he have, second only to Goro, and definitely the best Makoto to watch right now. -
