  2. Drill lvl3 hits low? ِAnyway, parry is a no no on Oki, it leaves Amane a good enough time to react easily to her parry with his long low sweep or whatever he have so Parry cant even be used as a risky gimmick like in some match ups.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVeQ2YyRZt4&t=4m15s -Makoto is stuck in Parry animation until she rebel all the drill hits during that she is vulnerable to low attacks (free punish) -Her Parry catch is blockable (punish) -She lose high mid Invu while charging for Space Counter, and the start up is like 20F'ish so you are free to punish her (punish) Its a diffinitive lose situation for Makoto in Oki. Amane long ranges chain like stuff have pretty epic disjointed hitbox, means that Makoto will be unable to hit him with the parry catch, so he is free to punish her while she is frozen in the parry animation.
  4. Makoto CP is Makoto Extend with better ability to confirm into corner combos (better abare). Some minor buffs and nerfs here and there but they wont have any impacty changes. EX Makoto was Oh-key imo, i never blamed Makoto for any of my loses. Cool, we could do that in Extend, but it doesn't look 1 frame tight as it used to be and will work from any starter.

Maybe SB have foot attribute now you should remeber that 3C no longer have Invu throughout the whole move, only in the middle part during the first spin though it could have been changed in CP idk. Well, some people have legendary swords, some of em have magic, others have lasers. We?, we only have two tons of fur and that's why we have j.2C which i think its a butt dive more than a kick =/ Edit: Buppa is back to Makoto, he used to main her in CS2 with Hazama. Kagetsu subbed her in EX but looks like he is going to MAIN her now?
  6. I did tried Tsubaki and Litchi out of rage after loosing like 15 clean match vs Tao. Guess what? i won with both of em although my experince with Tsubaki and Litchi doesn't exced the story mode. Makoto vs Tao is like one of the worst match ups in BB trust me After thinking, yeah, I dont see much Ragna, Jin and Noel too. So this Makoto will be probably the most used so far.
  7. Gah, we have more BBCP Makoto footage in 4 days than we had with BBEX in a year!!!. Makoto is really overused in BBCP, and tbh, most of dem Makoto players were decent yet they win vs better opponents... braindead squirrel? seriously i didn't see even CS2 Makoto getting as much used as this or even win as lame as it. True we had 4 SBO squirrels but that means nothing to the usage ratio, there was 100x more Jin and Noel players in the SBO qualifier. I'm afraid of Makoto turning into a braindead rushdown character bandwagon :/ Worst Makoto match up imo, even in CS2 it felt unfair for Makoto although we could win it in like two hits only lol

Had some free time to watch CP goodness -Lander Blow lvl2 is a legit trap, lvl3 is a slow move that resets the pressure when its respected... pretty nasty, i thought it will only be useful as Mars/Gazer frame trap or Lander Blow reset mix up. -Let the squirrely game begins. -Watch the minute 4:03 of the video above, notice how 3C avoided Cosmic Ray even through 3C was at its last frames!! i know it was 3[C] version but still COOL. -CT have ridiculous vertical hitbox, should catch jump out's easily I saw Makoto doing OD > 5CC > j.B DP > j.B DP the second had SMP and the penalty was on both corona upper and meteor dive my speculation was right about the same version of DP having an SMP. Forgot in which video i saw this. Edit: Taokaka match up looks worse and worse with each game ~.~ ~.~ ~.~ ;_;

  10. Looks like that for me, it will actually make sense since its not jump cancelable on block anymore. Noticed, I'm 99% sure that 3C Invu is extended somehow. Glad to see one of Makoto's trademarks becoming useful again. Looks like it have even more untech time, not sure. Anyway, j.B untechable time was good in EX, its just j.B CH launch send oppoenents too high, Increased gravity fix that in CP. Saw it, that was Ragna's CA not his 5B, CA's always whiff for no reason. Confirmed, saw a Makoto doing 214AC CH Frame trap > 2A > 5B > 5CC > 214AC. when the second Luantic Upper hit Amane flashed Blue and there was that "Same Move Combo" written on screen. Not a big problem since we don't need 214ACB in our combos like in EX. its doesn't vaporize guard primers anymore, they should make it better in a way to make up for that. If they at least remove the counter hit state frames i'll be happy. Seriously one of the funniest and most unique tools in BB, it defines Makoto as the brawler she is yet they nerfed it to death which was unnecessary. True, OD is not only a damage boost. 5D 2D Cosmic Ray and maybe j.D all can make your Neutral Better in OD, Lander Blow will be + on block and unmashable so it will make your offense better. I'm even guessing they only added Cosmic Ray and Lander Blow for this to happen lol. Welcome Back Exciel <3 Shooting Star can make any hit from 1/2 the screen into a corner combo, sorta broken lewl Edit: I hope they add more stun to j.2C, removing the recovery should do the trick but will make it safer on whiff. Its like the only move in BB currently that make you get punished for landing a successful counter hit with wtf lol! I really want to see it more viable
  11. Thats pretty much what i do in BBCS:EX, its like the only to have fun. This is by far one of the best changes i heard in CP, pure fun. Can't wait to have the full Frame Data mock.

  13. If its true then a corner combo starting by 2A wont lead to j.D which means our damage from 2A starter is less than even EX Nothing assured till now.
  14. It did, you can easily go and pick up with 2C after 5D compared to 1F tight Micro dash2C in EX. This counts as a HUGE buff for Makoto abare since now you don't need to be hugging the corner in oreder to turn your hits into a corner combo. With that being said there is a problem with j.D. It untechable time looks shorter + either it became slower or j.B untechable time got reduced because from what i observe once your proration is mid~low% it becomes impossible to do j.D in your corner combo!
  15. You saw this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ou5JlWGURo Its comboability is incredibly wide, Basically anyhit can go into OD combo. its achievable in air (based on Bullet combos) and since we have the Makoto broken j.B we can easily confirm any air hit into j.B > OD > DP > roll onnnnnn
  16. No floating? what about an airborne hit? does it wallstick? Your drives becomes G level. G level makes your drive faster and give it additional properties. Like how 623CD groundbounces on G level and so does 214BD. Is it only me or G level 2D launches a bit higher?
  17. On new moves topic. Cosmic Ray causes a wallstick in OD, but does it do that normally? Plus what's its effect on a normal standing opponent? does it launch them? As for Lander Blow i haven't seen it hit except after 6C in a combo which was pretty bad as the untechable time of it ends by your recovery + it doesn't wallstick however this might change with G level
  18. If it have a lot of varieties based on position, OD duration, etc... then it will be actually fun rather than braindead.
  19. Feeling shared, they do look more Stable. Makoto combos are somewhat easy but they have been always unstable ever since CS1 maybe. ^this

(i'm not 100% sure about the vs theme thing)
