It was mentioned in early loketest that j.2C is (sadly) the same. I hope they will make it dangerous by buffing its Proration at least. -
I prefer [2A~2B] OS over throwing a meaty 3C. Jin can react to your 3C with a grab but he can't do anything to the meaty 2A OS, not even gold bursts will work, neither his D DP if you time the 2A REALLY CAREFULLY (2 Frames alike timing window). But your 3C method have a very unique advantage, it makes the DP whiff so he cant RC if its baited.

We could do that in Extend and get 4K of it. However, looks like it slides less in CP which means it will be much easier to otg after it but it will carry less. -

I can place the orb just a little bit far from Hakumen to the range where he can't invoke his counters using the orb neither being able to roll or poke his way out. Usually 6D would beat this since it pushes Hakumen forward but its not 1 Frame reversal anymore. -

It turns into Invu that carries on until like the end of the animation or when you start charging Space counter. But hey, you gain two free Mags no? D: -

Hitbox/Priorty science. Your 2A comes faster than her 6B, but if you are not in her range then she will just win a counter hit because she thrust your exposed hurtbox with a disjointed one.

Saw 6B linking into 214AC without CH in the Hazama video... this is GREAT! I personally welcome Lander Blow but i don't think its thaaaat great, we already have the godly 214AC > wait > 2A/backdash/Parry OS and it serves me great so far. If anything then its easier to do this with Lander Blow now. -

That will be Tager, poor thing still can't win a lot of his match ups :/ imo Makoto looks straight better than EX (it cant be worse). How good is she? idk, and i can't count on what people say at this early time especially when it comes to Makoto. -

Just saw this: Mars Chopper > RC > 2B 5CC 5D > 2D > j.B j.D = 2200 damage? yeah the combo was bad, but Mars Chooper P1 looks much much worse, it could lead into 5000 from that confirm in EX. looks like it will be only 3K? Everyone can be a good Makoto, but only Goro can be Goro Makoto. He is the only Makoto player who uses PF Dash on wake up to punish low meaty's and to punish some strings with it after IB. His footsies are top-top quality, i've never seen anyone able to make it to his level, he is using Barrier kara to whiff punish the latest pixels of pokes... Man, he made BBEX much more entertaining, wish him a good luck with his Nu =/ This. Just when i thought that Alexandrite couldn't get any better, and we even have a new vs theme now and i heard that we share memory of tears with Noel and Tsubaki? thx ASW <3 Now all what is left is a good role in story and i'm sold. -

It works very well with our offense, and in combos we have more accessibility to it more than most of the characters. Add to that, Makoto's CT looks cool. Missed the whole thing, what happend? Most noted is that 6B proration sucks now =/ Lander Blow can combo into 5A for ok damage PF is still good Our OD is still the best OD in the whole game countrary to what others think, its cool, its awesome, its useful in a lot of aspects, loved it. Based on the JBBS always precise tier discussion lol, Noel looks low-tier'ish and so does Makoto but i wont buy what they said about Makoto since she shines at high level so they could be wrong. Crush Trigger have 100% P2 + It have a unique property that makes it bypass the Combo Rating proration reduction which means that using CT should not reduce the scale of the upcoming attacks at all. Think of it as a free damage (although comboing into it is kinda hard + it takes 25% heat) -

The Combo Rate is now 70% instead of 80% (I heard that this is the same case with all the characters, not only Makoto). We will lose now more damage with each combo filler (eg: 2A > 5B > 6A > 5B > 5CC > 5D > combo) so the faster you do your combo's most damaging moves the stronger it will be. This change will force the game into having faster combos i guess, all done in theories, don't quote me on anything. The change explains why Makoto's 5B in the corner could lead into 4600 back in the loketests, but now we see her having a hard time getting a 3800 from the same combo. Makoto max damage looks a tad bit worse in BBCP contrary to believes, but she can access this damage much more frequently now with stuff like 236D and 2D(2). It is, but tbh her combos somewhat died in Extend so it won't make a difference imo. At least we can have unfair amounts of fun with the OD in BBCP, the OD makes Makoto feels like MAKOTO! Now all what we have to do is to cheer for Bibi and Eshi and wait for BBCP. -

This Makoto reminds me of CS2 days, jumping, flying, awesomeness. Everyone must check it out. Just saw it in the vid, it still there just like the old Shooting Star but with better sway back or even less - Frame adv like what Farran said but i doubt they will make it nonpunishable. I also saw Air Corona Upper going through Hakumen's burst, I swear she was in the burst hitbox range yet she felt nothing. Air Corona Upper is Invu finally!! I love the momentum delay that comes before Cosmic Ray active frames, so useful to to punish preemptive pokes, footsies at its finest!! -

Its still usable after 214A or 214AC with 236D input, though i could be wrong. But we cant do 2D > 2C > 214ACB > 5C 6C stuff like in Extend no? I guess its removed to make combos "faster". But now we have 6C > 214AC236D which sticks ppl on wall from 1/2 screen. As for Ragna i think he means GH Follow up or not follow up game, DP could beat both, and if our 2B could low profile the follow up then nearly all the cast could do it. Does anyone know if Shooting Star can still cancel into Supers? i've never seen anyone do it in CP. -
