6A is not an anti-air. I don't know the exact properties, but it beats a lot of horizontal attacks such as Ragna's 5C.

LMAO what is even the point of using it now? I know J.623B was a really good combo filler and fatal punish back in the day but I think they nerfed way too badly in CP.

I really like where this is going. Also, is 5D anything cancellable? If not, is it still -9000 on block? Doesn't looks like it from the videos.

Ragna is 5B and combo filler. I was all for max damage and heat gain nerfing, but I see literally no point in nerfing the mixups of a char with...no mixups like Ragna. We're stucked with little reward off bad overheads, average damage that is nothing amazing, and bad to average reset options. Still got 5B though!

It means that during the entire startup you're INV. Think pre CP Blood Kain where the animation keeps going but Ragna can't get hit.

That is all true, Huey. Practically everything Bang did in the corner lead to really good damage and possibly oki, plus a lot of meter. RCed Command Grab was REALLY damaging and even a simple corner BnB off it would do almost 6K. I think most people(myself included) think CS2 Bang is weak BECAUSE he was only that dangerous in the corner. His normals were somewhat lacking and not that good in neutral, crouching combos were really weak and if you wanted knockdown close to you, would be even weaker(about 1K damage max) and then other silly things like J.D having the worse P2 I saw in a move until Akihiko's corkscrew in P4A. I don't know whether I like CP Bang or not yet, but I'm going towards the 'like' side of the scale so far. I saw some REALLY hype stuff and the FRKZ combos he can do now are amazing, both in looks and usefulness. Folks are right, it is a new game and there is a lot to discover. I am specially looking foward to what we can do with J.22A and new Steel Rain. While we're on about Steel Rain, I miss the old one. DPing folks for the lulz with it back in the day was from where I got most of my laughs. I suppose the new one is more practical though.

Depends on whether it only has projectile properties, I think. If that is the case then it can probably be semi-legit if you predict D mashing, but I would still rather go for 5A\2A.

I noticed that myself a few days ago. Don't know how much of a loss it is though. It was never that fast or hard to see, and not being an overhead makes it a good excuse for good frame advantage or other cool properties it might have.

Agreed. At the moment, information is valuable, even if it's just enough to form theories. There is too much about him that we don't know yet so anything is useful.

I almost never see Azrael players using their overdrive. Would be nice to have some research done on his moves properties in OD, although I can also see bursts being more useful for Azrael on the long run since he has a easy enough time getting good damage thanks to his drive, but his defensive options outside of his backdash(which, while amazing, is not fail-proof) are somewhat limited either due to the hitbox(His DP's hitbox doesn't looks THAT hot to me) or lack of INV(both supers).

Ah, I see it now. Guess we're stucked with his normal DP for reversals then? Is it legit enough or does it have holes? I do remember it being mentioned a few posts ago that it doesn't have lows INV.

Sorry if this was already answered, but while it is already known BHS has zero INV, does Scud Punishment shares that as well or can it be used as a reversal DD?

Hey now, I still play it once in a while. I admit though, online is kinda dead. Not surprised since folks are getting tired of CS so hopefully with CP we will get things going again. Shush I play Jin so I can also post in here.

When he is guarding, he will put his arm in front of his face. I think he has autoguard to very weak attacks even when not guarding though.

D version has INV if I'm correct. I didn't found any decent use for 5D so far. In fact, Many times I found myself being put into worst situations than usual due to the lack of C moves while D is active. It's not like you have mixups when not into Kill Rush rekka anyway.

Not my fault I'm to blame for not noticing your SRWish name before! Jin is more of a ryu than Ragna IMO, but I don't think any of the 2 should be S tier anyway. Now, I know we lost a lot of crap on the first loketests, but maybe we will gain a lot of stuff on the second ones? Wishful thinking, given ASW's history with BB's balancing(aka nerfing everyone to death), but I will bet on it for now. -
2A being -2 is ugly, but hook B being +3 is sexy as hell. I like most of those numbers.

I see, with my little eyes, super robot wars fans. That aside, we know hakumen had it rough too, but ASW is pretty much telling all Bang players they really don't give a damn about us. Sure, we still got relaunch combos but suddenly we can't get any damage on crouching enemies regardless of mid-screen or corner. It's still the first loketests, but I don't have any faith on the possibility things will get better for us. But hey, meterless steel rain! Still solid for trolling purposes. -
Yeah, I suppose most folks would not have much personal experience with this matchup. I got the game a few days ago but will only get to play it in 2 weeks and my friend is gonna main Shadow labrys, so I figured getting some knowledge on the matchup would help. I don't think she has many legit options outside of F-action and basic defense mechanisms? Low hp also means we kill her in 2/3 combos since even our basic 2A starter BnBs are doing about 1\4 of her hp. Without actually playing the game though, I don't know anything other than that. I do have this weird feeling we gonna get outranged for most of the match though...maybe 5C will have some use here?
