  1. HAHA YES. I saw that earlier today and got really hype. I can barely wait to see Azrael's outright maximum damage potential. That means double marks FC OD combos at -10% HP. Imagine the possibilities, as impractical as they are...
  2. Yeah, true enough. Better to wait for either when we get more detailed frame data or the actual game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if a 5A 'trades' with Scud(under the theory that there might have enough of a gap to recover from a 2A and go for 5A), would it not just add one of the weakpoints since each of the 2 hits adds a different weakpoint? However, maybe it would give enough Stagger to recover from the 5A CH and follow up somehow, so it would still be in Azrael's favor. Of course, this is all under the theory the startup is that damn long after superflash, and I doubt it is. The after Superflash startup seems to be no longer than 10 frames since the Haku just barely had time to active Yukikaze after 2A(again, under the theory he recovered from the 2A rather than cancel into it), so trying to trade with Scud seems like a bad idea, and it's better to either just block or reversal out of it.
  4. Are you sure it was a 'cancel'? I think Scud's startup after superflash is just long enough for the 2A to recover and then Haku just inputs Yukikaze. However, that same long startup after superflash is good enough reason not to use it as a reversal, because with 50% meter you can just rapid Growler on block, so your point still stands.

While both ground and air DID FC, it seems that either it's the second hit that launches the enemy sky high(Counter Carry), or the air version doesn't causes that at all. Edit: If the video doesn't sends you to it, it's at the 11:40 mark.
  6. I stand corrected. Forgot 6B was also special cancellable and Dead Spike\22C are both options. Don't see 6B>Wait>5C connecting though, but who knows.
  7. I don't think it is possible unless it hits on the late frames with the enemy already sky high on the air. Don't see much point in using it even if it's possible though, because realistically we are not going for anything other than 5D after 6B(due to no more 5C gatling), so going for a well timed 5B\5C>5D(1)>HF>Stuff sounds more optimal IMO.
  8. While it does heals a bit more than the old BK combos(mostly due to Blood Scythe having godlike life steal), the main reason it looks so much better is because there is no more life drain in BK. Back in the day you could get 4\5K life steal off even average BK combos, but the life drain made it look underwhelming.

What I meant is that it would be pretty hype for he to get a Gustaf Feint that did the dash but not the actual punch, which means he would cross a lot more distance without the terribly long whiff recovery of Gustaf. Sure, none of them got any INV, but it would help with mobility. And I can't imagine Azrael biting people, despite he often commenting he 'eats' them on his arcade, but that is another matter entirely.
  13. A Gustaf feint would be pretty hype. jcc cancel from a normal foward dash and cover almost half of the screen without too much recovery... ...I can dream, ok?
  14. In CP, I would say Bang's standing damage got buffed, crouching damage got nerfed, corner damage is mostly the same(Lower on bad starters, higher on good starters) and any combo with FRKZ is still high as fuck damage.

  20. No way they're 30 frames unless charged. They're about as fast as Ragna's 6B AT BEST, which is 24 frames. Definitely going with the 19-22 estimative here.
  21. I can see it working, but most things that lead into CT often come with bad proration, such as 6C combos. Still, since it's not a cancel then we would have extra time to work with, so it definitely sounds worthy a try.
  22. Blood Scythe actually looks significantly slower than 6D. I would say it's 30 frames or something, or at least about the same speed as pre-CP Dead Spike. I would rather go for 6D, really. 6D>J.D is also an overhead, but unlike Blood Scythe you can whiff J.D and go for an low or grab or whatever instead. I -suppose- Blood Scythe can have uses. It really messes Ragna's hitbox up even though he can still be anti-aired, and it's kind of random when it will crossup or not so it can catch enemies by surprise. It's also an special and has a much better hitbox(At least I think it does), so it can be used off more stuff. Still like 6D more though, since it's just better IMO.

  25. Humm...it was a CH. He could have probably done 6D>J.D(Whiff)>5D(1)>214A>5B>5D(1)214B>214D>6A>J.214D>5B>5C(does it combos in CP? I heard 5C's vertical hitbox got nerfed)>Jc>J.C>jc>J.C>214C>5D(2)>623D~ Don't know, could have worked. I just know he could have gotten more than just 2.8K now that I look at it.
