  1. +1 This matchup is a nightmare. Not only is it pretty much impossible to punish her, it's also impossible to catch up AND outpoke her. In this matchup, you gonna have to give a lot of respect(So that she starts using overheads) because you want to 6D those overheads while getting pressured, because outside of random J.2As you wont be hitting her with anything else anytime soon. Then again, i'm a pretty crappy Haku but even i can tell this matchup is terrible from the matches i had.

  3. 236B>236B Does give a very nice amount of heat, true, plus it deals decent damage even with the second hit low P2 value. Those plus the wallbounce are the main reasons i want to find a way to use 236B>236B in combos. It just seems like something too good to pass up, plus it looks stylish(although style is mostly for combo videos only). Thank you for the help, both of you. I will check later today if i can find an effective way to use 3C>236B>236B in combos and post any results. Just dont expect anything optimized or godlike, i'm no Valk player, but maybe you all can use it to build something more effective, if possible. Edit: 5B>3C>236A>2C>6B>2C>6C>3C>236B>236B>5B>2C>jc>J.B>jc>J.B>J.C>Optional J.236236C(Combo gives enough heat on it's own to use it) "Meh" Valk combo, specially because it doesn't use wolf form. Doesn't break 5K even with DD ender and 3C>236B(2) is a bitch to time it correctly. Guess 236B>236B just ain't very useful after all unless you're out of wolf gauge and need a human form only combo. I dont know. Too lazy to check other combo routes. 3C can be removed and you can skip directly to 236B>236B if you want to make it easier but it's less heat and damage if you do so.
  4. 5B(or whatever starter you can get)>3C>236A>2C>6C>3C>236B>236B Combos, by the way. You can use both 236A and 236B on the same combo, but i dont know what legit ways to follow up after it you have considering the hitstun decay and high proration by that point. Any air juggle on the corner can slap a 3C>236B>236B in it, in fact. It's just HOW you can effectively follow it up that confuses me.
  5. What is the max BK Combo damage we got so far, outside of silly dual burst 100 heat stuff? Best i got was 8K off 2C FC and 50 heat beforehand, but i think i'm doing something wrong. It feels like i should be getting more than that or something.
  6. Forever using as many 6Bs as i can in a combo in fear of the next patch giving it repeat proration, so i never suffered from 2D CH stopping me from 22C. Edit: Ops, forgot about combo thread.
  7. Since this is the combo thread and everything i figured this is the right place to ask. Now, i dont play Valk but i have been considering picking him up. That aside, i check a few combos on training mode once in a while and noticed 3C(Air hit)>236B>236B combos. You need to hit with the tip of 3C's hitbox though or else it wont combo. What i want to ask is that if there is any use for that, considering 236B(2) P2 is pretty bad, Even though it does give a nice wallbounce. I feel a bit weird showing up on the Valk boards, but this is probably the best place to ask.
  8. Bang mains in general are friendly and nice, or at least more than other char mains. Probably because Bang himself is a nice guy, so he attracts nice persons. I cant TK Bang's astral to save my life, but i do take special pleasure in Astral>Shadow stepping projectiles. Feels good to show up from the other side of the screen and Hammer that nail on someone's face, Tager usually being the victim.
  9. Oh man, this is beautiful. Best accidental use of INV frames i seen ever since i Daifunka'ed through Jin's ice wave+ice sword It seems Jin is forever destined to have his shit ruined by Bang DD's invincibility.
  10. Yeah, the smash series is more of a platformer with fighting game elements than anything. Still fun though.
  11. Points made, which i agree with. I honestly want to try CSE Ragna soon, everything he does is stylish right now and his normals getting a damage buff is really awesome. I also want to make lambdas ragequit by Carnage scisorring their asses from full-screen, just because i can.
  12. I agree, he is pretty strong this time around, but surely not without his bad matchups. i still think he will end up as low A because even though he is strong, he is still Ragna. no new mixups or anything that people are not used to it. he simply gets rewarded a lot more this time around.
  13. Silly japanese people. Ragna with no bad matchups is just as believable as Zoning Bang. CS1 all over again: they think he is broken at first then remember he is STILL Ragna, and that fact alone makes him drop 5-10 tier positions. he is still SSS Tier for combo videos though, specially with that sexy 6B.

I know this post was done like, 1 week ago but i want to make sure if this is confirmed. 5B is still 10F? and here i was hoping the first thing they would fix was that 5B being piss slow to the point it's slower than all 5B's but Tager's(ironically same startup). I sadly cant test it myself, and i am sorry if this was already confirmed and i am just really bad at reading stuff.
  15. i found out about BB while messing around youtube and found a video called "Gale". shit happened and i instantly feel in love with Bang. his nails are fun, his screams are amusing and he has one fat hp bar for a Ninja and fastest character in the game. these days however i am using Ragna more because, sadly, his playstyle fits me more then Bang PLUS we have a similiar personality. i main both but i use Ragna more often these days.
