  1. Frame data implies you can easily punish it with a charged 5C on ground block, with enough time to spare for a dash 5C if you have to. Air block punish seems to be impossible with just about anything, though.
  2. He mentioned that if you hit confirm the CH then it isn't a problem. You can't just magically guess it's gonna CH when you're mentally prepared to RC the move the moment it connects.
  3. You need to use a move that 'activates' the ability to use 22C in the combo. 3C does that, meaning you can use 22C at any time during the rest of the combo, while 5B>5D on airbone enemies doesn't(meaning you can't do 22C after it unless you did something like 3C or TKed BS first).
  4. Probably already known but the exact minimum damage on OD 28D is 1658. Most people were just going by 1.7K min which is pretty much correct but yeah.
  5. It keeps them in blockstun if you catch them during an air dash or whatever(rather than force you to go into J.C). It's not all that amazing but it's something. Agreed, fuck the Jin matchup. idk lol
  6. That is pretty much it, really. His pressure is mostly safe(though free to DPs and Tager's commands) if he doesn't go for mixups, and his mixups are mostly 50\50s, but if they get blocked all of his pressure is over and on IB certain chars can punish it. Basically, he is either frame trapping or doing mixups. He can't do one while doing the other, so just IB pressure and mash out of overheads or if you IB Gustav.
  7. idk if this was said before, but you can cancel J.C's landing recovery if you do J.D literally before touching the ground. The timing is pretty strict, but even if you mess up it can still lead into some funky mindgames.

  9. How about WT > TK SVV > 5K > TK SVV > Stuff? Can't imagine 5K adding too much height so it might be possible, but I wouldn't know.
  10. Quite frankly if they bring Male!MC\Fem!MC back I will lose my shit. It would pretty much ruin the entire ending of P3 and possibly the point of the whole game in general. I mean I love FemMC(though I dislike maleMC), but that ending was heavy and what it meant should be kept. Plus none of them can really bring anything new to the playable cast by this point.
  11. 5D~C listed it being an anti-air twice. Kind of redundant. 6D~A Groundbounces, not float. Anything else would just be me nitpiking, like [2]~8C listing it gives a soft knockdown on CH when it's not really a knockdown as much it's practically untechable, which then leads into a knockdown by default. Looking good anyway.
  12. The EX version was honestly kind of ass before tbh. Normal version definitely got nerfed though.
  13. Azrael does what nobody else in the game does, which is make his stuff look like it actually hurts. Pure, unaltered awesome. No magic, no fancy gadgets, just rated M for manly fisticuffs.
  14. Maybe it's not as optimal...But is it as swag as this!? Corner 6C>2D~A>B orb>2C>5C>A Orb>2C>2D~C>5D~A>44>3C>OD>3C>6D~C>28D (7034 damage and 38 meter - 50 meter gain total) Probably only works on chars you can OTG with B orb, but I think it came out looking pretty badass.
  15. 6A can beat his DPs if timed properly and recovers in time to block C DP if used as a meaty iirc, but TK sentinel is probably better for oki.
  16. Oh come on I know this matchup is a bitch but don't say Azrael doesn't have anti-airs. 2C covers just so many things, and 5B\6B usually deals with things it can't handle for whatever reason. Hell if you must you even have Growler though I highly recommend against anti-airing with such an unsafe tool. If the Jin is trying to jump in with J.2C, then you can anti-air him with either 2C or 6B depending on the distance. In pressure J.2C can be anti-aired as well so long as you know it's coming or react to it(since JC resets are rather slow) His pressure mid-screen is ok and his mixups aren't all that hot. He needs meter to convert 6A into damage and it's really hard to get hit by J.214D since it's easy to know when it's coming. Crossup J.Ds are a bit harder but unsafe, so they won't use it a lot. Still has some stuff you have to be wary of, but nothing incredibly bullshit tier like dealing with Litchi's mixups in the corner. 5C is usually too slow to compete with Jin's pokes, and it also gets outranged by 5D so you won't be using this a lot. Gustav is also a big no on Jin's close to landing, because smart ones will stick a J.C in just before landing to make impossible for you to approach, and all Gustav is going to get done here is have you rush head first on a pointy stick aiming at your eye. What sort of Jin player is EVER going to use Ice Car in pressure? Other than once in a million gimmicks that never work anyway. Anyway I don't think you can poke him out of the follow up even on IB, but you can tell when he reaches the frame where doing the follow up is no longer available. Using Growler after 5C because you think 2D is coming is a REALLY big commitment for little reward. Just backdash out of there, better be full-screen than getting pressured. Anything else you do is suicide unless you're 100% sure of what the enemy is gonna do.
  17. You just suck it up and RC after it, yeah. It's positive enough on hit that you can reset pressure, and you don' need to RC against chars you can hit with 5A when crouching, but other than that you either commit to 50 meter or deal with only getting less than 1K out of an overhead. On the other hand, 2D~A still leads to crazy good damage anywhere on the screen. You can't follow up CH DP in the corner with a lot, really. Just a C or 2, then knockdown into orb oki. Mid-screen I don't think you can follow up at all anymore, failed every time I tried.
  18. Yeah, you don't say. The other day I had a few matches using Kagura since I'm trying to pick him up again(his neutral is so much better now), and each time I hit with 6A I said to myself "...Well?" because there was absolutely nothing I could do but simply reset pressure with that. Sure, you can get around 4K by RCing, but damn add that nerf to the list of bullshit Mori did for absolutely no good reason.
  19. There are a LOT of things broken with this game. Azrael is not one of them, despite what the salty tears might suggest. Will you people just get over the fact he has a great backdash because he NEEDS one, otherwise he wouldn't be able to function as a character?

  22. The Azrael fixes are so good man. I'm really glad for all the little changes we got like the 214D buff and Sentinel's input change. I'm legit surprised by how a simple input change can make a difference to a move. I'm definitely using Sentinel a lot more now. 3C>22C being faster is also really nice. Sometimes it didn't combo because I messed up the timing but that won't happen anymore. Really glad about that. Backdash nerf is rather insignificant\unnoticeable. It's there but I don't think it's really gonna change much, if anything. D moves being special cancellable in OD is hilarious...5K meterless off a 5A with upper mark...hah. So much combo video material here.

So I'm playing CP2 since the patch came out on JP version already and I don't know if this was stated, but while 2D~A leads into an air stance if stance cancelled, you can DELAY cancel it to remain on the ground. Basically, you're not forced to have 2D~A leave you airbone if you go into 5D or 6D, and doing so actually leads to a SLIGHTLY faster cancel. He feels much faster when attacking in general as well, you can visually see the speed buffs to his stuff. 6B still doesn't combo into 5C\2C on standing enemies sadly lol, but it still combos on crouchers. Not that it matters since 6A doesn't go into shit anymore. I also failed to link 2A from 6A against chars with normal hitboxes, meaning 6A>meterless follow up seems to be char specific to the ones you can 5A when crouching.
  24. Oh, don't even bother. We absolutely suck. Ok, what I mean is, anyone that is into competitive play that goes to that forum also comes here. How do I know that? Because that is homepage and the forum I visit the most since most of my pals are in there. No real point in trying to get them in this since there simply isn't the skill level required for anything of the sort in that forum, other than people that again, also come here anyway and thus can be counted as part of Dustloop instead.
