  2. This is not even the funny part tbh. Ok, so you did a J.C safe jump with Bullet in the corner and Azrael backdashed out of it. With his back against the corner. Alright, you landed and can do whatever you want while he is stuck in his backdash animation. You can easily confirm he didn't DP and quite literally MASH 2A to hit him out of the recovery from his backdash. No, seriously.
  3. If common sense applies here and I'm not forgetting something about Kokonoe, yes. While that is the case for most overheads in Blazblue, being limited to 5A and 2A when trying to get your overhead out is...really weird. Even Ragna has better options to get his 6B out than that. That being said, I don't think it's gonna hurt her too much. Frame trapping with her Cs causes a lot of pain, so people trying to be funny and mashing out of 6B after 5A\2A are gonna regret it. Also fireball making the damn thing safe for good measure.
  4. TB, I just wanna say I love you for understanding how balancing works. Also feel like pointing out backdash is only good for getting out of safe jump mid-screen, which is already a meh option in BB due to tech rolls anyway. Forward dash has no practical INV(ain't even on the first frame too) so we're not gonna bring that one up. @redsilversnake Ya, I feel Kokonoe won't end up like CS1 Rachel again but I wanna play safe here. As much as I dislike her at the moment, the last thing I want is for characters not to get properly balanced, regardless of their tier position.
  5. She is definitely getting nerfed, but we don't have too many details on how much yet. Here I'm hoping she ends up mid high\high tier or something because I would hate to see CS1 Rachel all over again.
  6. DC has slightly shorter recovery than 214B whiff, so it's gonna make linking stuff after it easier. Can't really see it opening any significant routes but I could be wrong. Edit: @redsilversnake I could not possible explain how much stuff is wrong with your post using only the languages available to the human race.
  7. Do you even gomi? Maybe if he had normal gatling options his normals would be that great, but the required delay and short range of many of them makes them surprisingly fair. What? Are Gustav resets too strong for you? Also the guardpoint on practically all of his moves that do have it are more 'lulz' than anything, rarely being practical, though it's hilarious when it works. I won't really bother to go into detail because if I end this argument too fast then I won't be able to laugh at the salt, but I'm just gonna go ahead and give the fair warning anyone with that 'Azrael needs nerfing' mentality is wrong, but that they're free to try anyway.

Forward throw, 3C, 6D\3D(Weakpoint applied), 2D, air 5D, but strangely enough, not air J.D\J.2D Most stuff that tosses the enemy in the air and has them fall on the ground seems to turn on the ability to use 22C in that combo, other than 2C and 6A. Didn't really burn more than 5 minutes in this, though. Edit: If you actually mean GOING INTO IT, then it's height dependent, but you can usually go into it from most stuff with decent untechable like 6A(wallbounce), Phalanx(kind of tight) or high height 6D\3D.

  16. Not just Terumi, but NOL in general, even the casual workers who have nothing to do with the crap he was put through. While it's understandable he does what he does, he still had the CHOICE, and with choice comes consequences. Yeah, you and me would probably do the same, and it would, again, be understandable, but an eye for an eye and the world will go Tsubaki. @Luminos Gotta be positive! He was lucky to get away alive, at least. Mind you, I'm not saying what he does is not within reason, but it was still his choice to go with his actions, and those actions brought even more bullshit to his life. Admittedly, he didn't really have a lot else to lose by that point, but it was his decision to go with revenge anyway.
  17. tbh a lot of the shit that happen to Ragna is his fault. He is the one putting his nose in all sorts of different places and getting into all sorts of different messes by his own decision. The church incident is really the only thing he had no control over, and even the azure could probably be removed if he were to have decided to live a normal life before, albeit with a single arm only.
  18. -1 If it hits at point blank, but the frame advantage increases proportionally to how far Ragna is from the enemy due to hitting with the later active frames. Still a major nerf, but it can still be positive if spaced correctly.
  19. No, we just don't want to be punished for 4K and knockdown because we hit the enemy with it but it wasn't a CH.
  20. Ah sorry, got that wrong then. Still, it's pretty great. I went through quite a few suits but this is still the one that caught my interest the most. Maybe I'm just a sucker for badass coats, but I also just plain like the design of the Crossbone series and X-2 in specific is my favorite. Looking forward to trying him out if I manage to get the game.

So with the mantle allowing him to cancel the recovery from landing and granting him an 'extra' layer of life against beam weapons, you could say he has a few more options to avoid trouble than the average unit? I've noticed CSa is pretty good in general, really wrecks people's day like you said if they try doing something unsafe while you're watching. I guess the basic idea is that he is rather spacing and movement heavy and has the tools required to do that. Alright, that sounds just like something I would enjoy playing as. Thanks for the help.
  22. I have been interested in this game for a while, and have always liked the Crossbone X-2. If I were to pick up, what should I expect of this guy? As in, my basic gameplan, strengths and weaknesses, etc. It SOUNDS like a good unit for the rather tolerable cost of 2000 points, but I would like to hear feedback from people who played the game and tested this unit. Also, the mantle seems to affect speed as mentioned up above, but the wording confuses me a little. Is he faster without it or something? Sorry if I'm not making myself clear, I don't have much experience with this game other than videos but X-2 really caught my interest.

But seriously, I'm less for 'reducing the amount of things Valk can go into wolf form from' and more into 'removing the stupid 50\50s and making Wolf meter actually worth managing'. I think human Valk is just fine the way he is other than 6C, which needs less frame advantage and more reward on hit. Valk is only as stupid as he is because wolf form mixups are outright unreactable and the wolf gauge simply does not require enough management. I suppose removing some of Wolf form's INV frame bullshits like mentioned a few pages ago is also an option, though personally I would rather just see those crazy, free mixups gone. I agree with the Hazama changes other than the 'specials you can punish him for' part. He needs less frame advantage for sure, though. Stance overhead should be neutral on block and only positive if the powered up version is done. 236D should either be neutral or between -2 and -4., so that it ain't as free as it is now. Litchi needs a bit less...everything. She is just way too good at everything. Too many defensive options, pressure is too strong, damage is too good, too much utility everywhere...The fact she has been such a solid character ever since CS1 proves that, though I would be mad if she ended up low tier or anything. Meanwhile I would also like to see repeat proration added to Mu's J.2C. Fuck those relaunches. That or she can't follow it up as easily as she can now. It feels stupid that she can J.2C you from half screen into the sky and still run up and float you with 2B. That is really the only change I want with Mu though she is obviously not S tier or anything. Give her an air combo ender or whatever to make up for that, I guess. idk shit about Tao either so I won't say much, other than she is a bitch. Other than those? Buff the lower tier chars a little, and make Azrael even more hilariously hammy and hype to watch.
