Sounds like he was just waaaaaay below your skill level. Passing after seeing the room is nice if everyone else is below your skill level. I sometimes will just leave the room if someone is hogging all the matches, unless I want to play them the most anyhow.

I actually am still learning that matchup. I have a lot of trouble with it because I'm downright scared of Tager's ridiculous damage, and even if I start out well I generally lose the match. And I don't want to pressure him at normal spacing like with other characters because I've had Backdash > Punish shoved in my face too many times, and supers mashed in my blockstrings. So at this point I try to do some damage and then keep mostly fullscreen. Some people recommended using j.C more in the matchup and I can now see why. But if I get hit by spark bolt or if you suddenly have more life than me, I get nervous and try to charge in for damage. Saw that coming, lol.

GGs to everyone I played in my stream today. Oh man I got real salty at Tager and Noel. I also now have a headache. I suspect it's from too much BlazBlue.

It depends on the person. I think it's good etiquette to pass after sweeping the room, but some people never pass. XD

I try not to mash too much, but occasionally there are some moments during pressure where I'm like "Naw, that CAN'T be legit". As far as the green throws, You were teching so many of those. It was throwing me off because I expect people to be mashing throw when I get in range, so I can go for more TRM setups. You were like, on reaction teching those green throws on netplay and I was like "what the fuck..." The purples I only do when I can't rapid 6A, in the air when I don't think I can end with an ice car, and when I'm legit going for a TRM.

I was just having fun by that point. :P I longer cared who won as long as it wasn't just you beating up on me all match.

I actually wasn't DPing all that much during the first like 40 or so matches. I stopped caring as much during the last 20 though. XD

Lol, I actually have the same habits. With no school, I saw no need to care when I go to sleep. That ends up with me sleeping when the sun comes up around 6AM or 7AM. ~_~ I blame my girlfriend who doesn't come home from work until like 4:30AM or later sometimes.

That exactly why I didn't end up trying to pick up Valk. Besides character loyalty, I don't feel I know enough with Jin yet. Then again, I enjoy continually learning new things, so I'm not sure I'll ever reach the point where I really want to pick up a new character. Also, why are you up at this time dude? Lmao. I have never even tried to learn Tager. Or most of the other cast really. I think the only character aside from Jin I've ever even tried is Valk, and that was cause I thought he might be a good sub.

That might explain why I always lose, even if I'm playing well during a match. If I put out more damage, I'd probably win more. Resets might allow me to do that... For the longest time I've just been doing complete combos without any regards to oki mixup (like crossunders or double crossunders) or midcombo resets. I still need to work a lot on spacing, matchups, and punishing, but I think resets will help my game a lot. Moy's really the one that made me realize how good Jin's resets are.
