Ah. I misunderstood then. *shrug* I don't know the magnitude of people who import games, much less BB specifically. I'd imagine it'd be somewhere in the hundreds, but that's more of a guess than it is an educated estimate. I know 360 games as a whole tend to sell better than their PS3 counterparts in the U.S., I'm just a little surprised if that applies to this game too, since it seems to have a greater PSN playerbase.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't XBL region-locked and PSN not region-locked? I know a number of PSN players on Dustloop imported the JP version just for that reason (that and cause they wanted to dodge the wait for localization).

Um, whilst this sucks for the suffolk players, I'm kinda stuck in nassau for the next .... fucking 12 days? And even then when I come back to suffolk, I have business that I have to attend to and then I'm rushed back to Nassau the next day ~_~ Rather than waiting until forever to play with you guys, does the idea of weekly netplay casuals sound okay? Unless someone wants to step up and try organizing something with the few of you that are out there (albeit pretty scattered -- the Nassau scene is literally 15minutes or less from each other so organizing this is significantly easier).

As of right now, we've been going on Thursday nights cause that's when Hitoshura gets his MK fix in. (Besides, the entire LI scene concept is like 3 weeks old, we're still getting ourselves oriented) We don't have a separate night for BB casuals yet, although we are making plans to host a little tourney on 3/31. A thread will go up in Event Announcements once we have all the finer details figured out. In other news, I grabbed a copy of CSX for 360 as well, so that means 2 things: 1) I can play with some of you (i.e. BC Sama) that only have the 360 copy of the game, arigato netplayu. And 2) I can technically host casuals at my place if needed. With 2 setups now (1 PS3 and 1 360), that should suffice seeing as there aren't too many of us at the moment. And me hosting would save $5 on venue fee for peeps like HK . And most importantly, my house isn't fucking cold D< ....yesIamstillmadmyhandswerefreezingatTGElastnight. EDIT: Also picked up SC5 for 360, just saiyan. Not that I'll be good at it anytime soon...

I -won't- be able to get to Suffolk on Mar 10th anymore because for whatever reason, I'm now scheduled to work every day that I don't have class between now and March 10th. zzz. Luckily I can get a copy of CSX for 360 tomorrow, I just have to hope I can find one.

As much as I want to, I'm scheduled to work both this Friday and next Friday Q_Q This was why I told BC Sama the next time I'd be Suffolk is the -weekend- of March 9th. I'm stuck in Nassau until at least 10-11pm on Friday night, thanks to work. I should be able to get out there on Saturday though, and hopefully I can stay until Monday morning. But if it's Saturday (Mar 10th) or Sunday (Mar 11th) and I can get out there, I'm down to help you with organizing it and carpooling people around if needed.

Ok bump + update. Hellknight and Hitoshura are both pretty hyped about hosting a tourney on LI, so more likely than not, we can make it happen. We still gotta talk to the guys at TGE before it's an official thing, but I doubt it'll be an issue. And hopefully we'll be able to record some of the matches, since streaming is very likely a "no". (None of us have real streaming equipment as far as I'm aware) Dai, even if you just come to play, that'll be a good help. :3 As I said once before, I'm like 2 minutes from Hofstra, and TGE is roughly 15min from me, so I can always pick you up and drive you if necessary... then again, this is also assuming I'm off of work on that day. >_< And I haven't given barely any thought to what games will be played, but Skullgirls sounds possible, I'd probably be able to borrow a copy from one of my co-workers (and possibly convince him to come join at the same time). Ok, non-tournament-related, I'm looking to make a little FB page and a post on SRK about the scene to see if there's any non-DL players out there. @Star-Demon: This is where familiarity comes into play. When you get familiar with the names, the faces, the environment, it doesn't feel as awkward. I've been to NL 3 times now. First time I didn't do anything or speak to anyone. All I did was walk in, watch for maybe an hour, then bounce. Second time, I went, played maybe 4-5 matches, got completely bodied, stayed quiet the rest of the time mostly due to being frustrated with how I did. Third time was yesterday, had fun, got to speak up a bit more, enjoyed my stay from start to finish, but the big difference was knowing some of the people there. You might've enjoyed it a bit more if you had tagged along with some of us. The car rides were entertaining enough to break the ice.

Real talk, I will quintuple post on this thread, make an alt account, and quintuple post again before I let this thread die. But while I am thinking about it, shoutouts/thanks to advanced for providing transportation and lulz yesterday and bringing Ushbro/heartfieldtalon. Hopefully we can do this again in April (since Dai is guessing that'll be the next TSB tourney date). BC, we need to do brawl casuals asap, but I dont think I'll be back in Suffolk until the weekend of Mar 9th... although hopefully I can get a copy of CSX for 360 come this Friday so I can get some netplay in with you guys.

Wow. First time I'm mad I don't have BB on 360.

I was hypnotized by that .gif for 5 minutes.

Chains got thrown. Shots got fired. Combos got dropped. And Tager mirrors. Shit was amazing. Next time we do either Brawl or Mario Party casuals (I will hunt down another controller if necessary, idc).
