Regarding Enju assists, you have to mention the Clean Hit properties. If she hits your foe's hitbox a certain way the camera will zoom in and the assist does more damage. It's especially important since the 5S version will only do the second kick move if the first one has clean-hit before it and it IS possible for the 5 to clean hit, it's just rare due to the way in which it tends to hit but I've had it happen. Also 6S with Enju is a DP when done from a trump card state while blocking (you input 1S) since she's invincible and the attack is very quick. All in all this assist has more that meets the eye in every which way and is awesome.

This sounds like they noticed we had lag-less stages for online so they decided to just give us an option that makes every stage a lag-less online stage. Not sure if it's really like that or if some stages will still be better but it's something and yeah we can all play on speed mode and be happy.

No, it really is a jokingly pedoish statement aimed at illiciting a response of being creeped out by onlookers who don't get that the speaker is jokingly expressing those sentiments. Such jokes are much more common in Japan it seems as Sugita (Ragna's VA, he also does Gintama and a bunch of others) was fine saying it, though he does have a sorta-pervy persona on the BB radio show.

From what I recall, Mori was saying stuff such that if BB doesn't have a look like Xrd it won't really "feel" like a ps4 game so they're waiting and assessing the situation. I honestly don't see a ps4 version like that coming any time soon so whatever ps4 version ends up being there it won't be the one that these comments are about thus with the absence of any OTHER comments we might as well consider the ps4 version as nonexistent for the foreseeable future.

I fully expect them to add more than that. Lambda and Celica already have arcade endings. I expect them to also add the beach episode of the vita version (like how they added the cs2-portable story events in Extend) as well as some other thing simply explaining Lambda existing at all. Basically, cs2 = cp1.1, that's our free balance-only patch, we already got it. You can't expect a second one based solely on the fact that cs2 was free.

If you're expecting it to be a free patch like 1.1 was, don't. At this point, my money is on it being a full on disc game like Extend but if it isn't it'll definitely be something like a big DLC thing.

Only reason to go digital with the psn card markup is so you will have the game right away really. No other reason. jD is good for people having trouble with the IAD relaunches or something I guess though yeah the real bit part of it is the random height air to air confirms since those you can't IAD relaunch off of half the time due to weird spacing or distance. It's more that 5D is special cancellable than anything. It allows you to special cancel it into the umbrella which is a good way of using the umbrella which we lacked before. It also seems to have a little bit less recovery too.

I was just speaking about Nu in general, not about any specific matchup. The matchup with Rachel's definitely lopsided, I never said it wasn't. To base how good Nu is off of that isn't any more valid than basing it off of how well she does vs Valk (which I believe is still quite in his favor) or something though. The truth lies somewhere in the middle.

That's much tighter since you have to jump the jD though and can be tricky later on. 5D>jD being a thing is just very funny to me, I guess it's cause of how it used to work in the past lol.

Swords being lvl 2 projectiles is all kinds of dumb for sure but I think Nu was so dumb in CT cause everyone else other than Rachel and Arakune were pretty meh by comparison and she had good MUs against Rachel and Arakune. She'll be annoying but I don't think quite as annoying. (unless you're Tager, then RIP X.x)

Akira was plenty anime in Project X Zone, I knew nothing of VF before any of this but I liked him in that so he's more than welcome. His super theme was sweet too. Let us not forget that the most realistic of Japanese fighters are still anime as hell. Just cause your art style is such doesn't mean you're not anime, anime isn't just moe or loli or shonen artwork, it can be anything. Hell, Panty & Stocking doesn't look like anime for 99% of the episode either but who would say it isn't anime.

In addition to all of the above, the mere existence of a DP is a benefit in and of itself. A benefit much grander than any "reward" from landing one such as the damage and momentum you gain from DPing out of something. It's kinda like Bang's new DD, if you mess up and jump without an air DP/Overdrive you'll get hit but because of this people simply never jump when they don't have those two things. The good part of the move isn't catching people who jump irresponsibly into a 2.5k DD, it's making people not jump. Similarly, when a char has a DP, this affects your ENTIRE approach with regard to blockstrings and pressure as it is clear that you can be DPd through any hole big enough therefore any and all pressure your char can do is SEVERELY hampered versus chars with DPs compared to how it is versus chars without DPs. The whole bait and punish thing is a layer on top of this but there's no debate that despite the HUGE rewards that come from successfully fatal countering a baited DP for a 7k overdrive combo, it's still better for your chances to win to be fighting a char with no DPs. This doesn't even begin to address the fact that smart people simply won't dp if they don't know it'll hit or have meter to RC it and all that stuff's small beans in the end. The big benefit is the overall playstyle adjustment that the DP forces on you which is unlike pretty much any other thing in the game with regards to the effects it has by merely existing as an option.

I kinda expected 5D>CT to be a thing so that's not even the most impressive. The most impressive to me was the 4seal off of normal hit 6D combo lol. 6D>623B>2B>5D>jD>j236C>2D>jC>j2C 4seals 2.5k for nothing.
