  2. This right here is what I also was speaking of a few pages back. This meetup of people is the PURPOSE of the online lobbies. To negate that so that people can take turns when there's half of the room with empty cabinets and a bunch of other players not playing is just dumb.

  5. Right, same here. This is how it's supposed to be as far as I'm concerned. I've never just sat by two people playing and waited to jump in, I just took up an empty cabinet. I don't understand the thinking behind waiting when there's 30 empty seats and 10 other people walking around.
  6. Because it's spontaneous. You don't go there intending to have a set but you get a rivalry going on the spot and that's wonderful. I've had people join my arcade mid-set and it did feel like they invaded and I felt bad for my foe who could not try and run it back any more. I didn't like, leave the lobby or anything but at the same time I'd have prefered it if I could keep the set going.
  7. It depends, if there's 2 people playing for like 15 games in a row, they're clearly having a set so it actually is you butting in to their set when you try and join.
  8. 5C and 3C/command grab RC seem to be the best confirms.
  9. People try to poke you out of FRKZ so much that you don't need resets, just reversal with it. My favorite one was doing it to beat an aerial 236D from Jin. He had a good chunk of health too so it barely killed lol.
  10. You never should just "not use" something. Everything has its uses. If you wanna seal someone's burst for the kill in the final round of a match, OD is wonderful. I do burst more than I do OD, sure, but OD is still amazing and good and hype as hell.
  11. He's my primary sub, I just haven't relearned him yet since I'm focusing on relearning my main fully first. Also, I tried using him and the way his D works now throws me off entirely so its gonna take some work before I actually bring him out in online match situations.

  15. The event this weekend was awesome, had a lot of fun. Ended up sleeping most of today though lol. You know you had a good time when you need a day to recover.
  16. D nails retain momentum now, you can't TK them for pressure but you can IAD them to get in for free from afar instead. They're just different now. And you can still 5C daifunka like you could in all past games lol.

  18. You need to super jump and do it instantly to fly upwards, it's not controllable, it's purely momentum-based. As for that combo, you need to do the dash as soon as possible, then delay jB and JC each as long as possible, then land and microdash and instantly jump again and j4B.
  19. You wanna do 2C before 623B, it makes landing 2B easier. Also make sure to be really in the corner, if you're slightly too far back it won't reach in time. Learn to confirm standing corner damage btw, it's really nice.

  22. 2C has different properties in OD, it is why you can daifunka after it.

So, I just had to come up with something that makes use of our old best starter that is 6C counter (now it seems 3C fatal replaced it though XD) which leads us to this: 6C CH>9>OD>JC>6>JC>6>JC>J623B>5C>6D>6>2D>CT>623B>daifunka (7k, needs 50~ meter, furinka seals) The main nice thing about it is that you jump cancel to get full OD rather than use RCs for it, which allows you to go to the CT combo route from much lower meter positions. That's not a confirm, you can't confirm 5C fatal with CT, it's just a blockstring that if it just so happens to fatal can lead into some nice damage lol. That's a FRKZ combo, you hold 6 after 2C to dash cancel it, then cancel the dash startup with 6C.
