  2. It used to be unblockable actually so way better than a grab, now I don't know what it in CP is but I know she can just do it from 3C midscreen without any problems lol. It activates much quicker too. The astral reminds me of Mu's one the most.
  3. Having high ranking and having skill are related like money is related to being smart. You can say someone became rich cause they're smart but you'd be a fool to consider every rich person a genius. Also, some smart people may be unconventionally smart or not into money but into other things, just cause they're poor doesn't mean they're not smart. Ranking is like an indicator. Chances are someone with 10.000 games and 90% wins will almost always be better than someone with 20.000 games and 5% wins. That's pretty much all you can use it for though. To substitute ranking for actual skill is at best short-sighted.
  4. Hehe, you'd have better luck just watching videos and taking notes. I'm sure I won't just figure out instantaneously stuff that JP people haven't after nearly a year with the game. Though of course I'll try. Oh and on the matter of the voice actor above which I forgot to talk about, I don't really know the english VAs so I wouldn't be able to tell if it was that Troy person or not. I can tell you the battle lines and stuff sure and I assume I'd be able to tell if Bang sounds like his old ingame self or not. I really don't know anything about the English cast so I'm not the best suited person to say if the actor is changed or not. I know the JP actor is the same and that's all I care for. He even sings the new FRKZ song lol.
  5. I plan on using everyone eventually. My list is something like Kagura>Izayoi>Kokonoe>Azrael>Terumi>Amane>Bullet for the new chars. And I'm sure vids of the challenges will be out before I even get a chance to post em but sure. :P

  7. I don't really have one. The closest thing would be when you're in a room with two or more other people with mics and they start badmouthing you for beating them and agreeing on all sorts of hilarious "facts" about you with eachother. I mean, if I had a mic too or if this was offline I just know you wouldn't be saying stupid stuff like this. Have some dignity >>. But yeah, if we talk about things that happen ingame, nothing really. I don't take people actions being effective as a show of something other than me being unable to prevent them from being effective so any and all negativity that such a thing would generate is directed inwards. I feel that's the best way to be if you want to improve, instead of just feel good.
  8. Mobility is less defense and more just..well...spacing and neutral and stuff. They excell at avoiding having to defend but if they fail and DO end up on the defensive, they have trouble. Basically Tao has some super low hitboxes and a decent antiair, that's it. Valk has a great but wolf form only antiair and a terrible guard point normal. That's it for them. If they get cornered and have to block a lot they have very few options outside of just blocking perfectly and making enough space for them to excape. Momentum isn't really something related to defense, momentum just means their offense is good. Basically, they tend to win by not ever giving you a chance of putting them on the defensive through constant relentless offense. If they manage to pull that sort of approach off their terrible defense won't seem so terrible because they won't have to ever defend at all.

  10. Now that I look more closely, the two circles to the left seem to be corresponding to maggufins and the one to the right likely is the graviton gauge icon thingy. Still, the robot is one of them, who knows what the other thing would be. Imagine it like Valk vs Rachel basically. :P
  11. To the left of her Graviton gauge there's 3 circles, I assume they're 3 different maggufins she can use. In the image on the right one of them is blacked out while in the images on the left all of them are lit. Presumably, the blacked out one is that way because she has deployed that robot thing.
  12. Can't wait to use her. Also can't wait for everyone who was begging for her for 4 years to start complaining she's on disk DLC XD.
  13. The jp site speaks of her using the power of science to fight and wielding hammer and wrench in combat, I'm pretty sure she'll be playable if they're not just...pranking us to be jerks. X.x
  14. I tend to like IAD jPPPPPPP for these kinds of things more than jH unless I can get a really deep one. If you're like, JCing a far 5S or something then jH just feels too slow and people can just jump away while if you jP you'll still actually make them block something and then you can gatling into jH in the air once you reach the proper height. It's likely a scrubbish approach but in the way of mastering all the other stuff it has helped me a lot where it counts.
  15. Robo-Trol would be a good one indeed. Maybe he can do a DI which in the end causes an explosion like Robo-Ky's and it gets stronger with the more fire you have.

  17. Don't worry, BBCP is free and so will be this. Atlus was the one locking persona.
  18. Maybe some new character will inherrit O-sol's playstyle, maybe that brat Sol mentions in the first trailer. Who knows. He's my main so I kinda wish he remains but if the new char or the robo version or w/e is in then I won't complain. If he indeed is scrapped...well...I'll just use Slayer I guess. (yeah, he's not been shown yet but I doubt he'll be absent)

  20. Haha, yeah. Atelier games are awesome at cell shading. Also that vita game by the same artist, I forget the name but I think you may know what I'm talking about. There's this girl who's the focal point and it has management elements I think. To me the most beautiful game of all time is Okami so, yeah, I don't really mind the loss of sprites as long as the aesthetics keep their focus.
  21. Even without FRCs there should still be force breaks of some kind. The segmented gauge should be there. Hell, BBCT had a segmented gauge just because of Jin's D moves.
  22. Basically, what "good graphics" means when applied to a 2D sprite based game shifts when contrasted to what it means when applied to 3D model style games. Games going for photorealism such as Injustice are a different category and while you can contrast them with others of their kind to see if they hold up or not, I think it's comparing apples to oranges to contrast them to 2D spirte based games or in the case of Xrd games which go for a 2D sprite based look. I think Injustice and MK look like ass compared to current gen Tekken games and DoA5 too, games that it's more natural for them to be compared to. Now, if you prefer 2D style artwork of course you're gonna hate Injustice but to me even the ps2 Fate//Stay fighters look better than it because despite much lower technology, the aesthetic and style is epic and high class while Injustice looks generic as hell and just...simple minded low fantasy stuff that the people who don't tend to appreciate high fantasy anime aesthetics and fighting can enjoy. I mean, take Zod's super where he crushes through the moon, then go watch that Gurren Lagann episode where the moon attacks, you'll get what I mean.

  24. Learn your gatlings, what is jump cancellable on block and what on hit, get accustomed to having an extra jump, get used to 6C consuming a jump, learn how the drives work and try to figure out how to manage your nail usage cause they're rather limited. Challenge mode also never hurts.
