No I didn't play BB on Saturday, only Friday. I was the guy sitting directly opposite to your setup playing UNIEL/Dengeki Bunkou, in case you remember me lol. It sounds like we barely missed eachother which is unfortunate. I tried to look for BB later but they had turned the setup into a tekken one by then.

I'm always up for casuals.

Good games and lovely seeing everyone. Had an awesome time! I may have been the Bang, Greek accent and long hair is an easy way to tell lol. I use the Goku colors. :D (though it's possible we played before I unlocked them, they really had nothing prepared for BB lol) I basically sat in the game room for like 3~ hours playing BB with various people during Friday. Was awesome. Then Saturday I had dengeki bunkou and uniel with me so we played those. I think at one point a small crowd gathered during the Bang matches but I was too absorbed to notice. I get like that when I play lol.

I always saw her outfit as being white. Maybe it's the sprites more so than the actual artwork though.

You can just skip 214S and go right into 236[h]. What that has as a benefit is that it's easier to delay 236[h]'s release and as such it's much easier to time the move after the time slowdown, avoiding the rrc forced proration during slowdown.

Hopefully something comes out of it. I checked their other topics and the bigger-sounding thing was a fighting game tournament that you had to raise money in order to participate in and which was gonna be a random-fighter-tourney that the players won't know about until it begins. Hopefully we can have some proper games and show people awesome stuff lol.

Unless you are not corporeal but purely conceptual, opinions have more value the more they align with reality. Basically, for people, opinions based on facts are more valuable. If you're Kaname Madoka, you can be purely conceptual and not care about what reality is or isn't, otherwise, you're best served by valuing fact-based-opinions more and society benefits more by treating those opinions with a higher regard. Now I'll stop here before Anne gets on my case lol.

Contrary to popular belief, opinions have tiers too. Fact based opinions are superior to purely emotional ones. Opinions based on reality matter more when tackled from a corporeal angle.

Just coming up with an essay out of nothing is a bit weird and may not address anything useful. I prefer to just answer specific questions when posted there. If you have any feel free to ask. Also you can just ask here since due to forum layout I wonder how many people even go to the MU subforum. It's not like we have a mod here or anything so it shouldn't be a big deal.

I would argue her graviton-less tools are FAR superior to Rachel without wind and definitely Carl without Nirvana therefore she is not quite as demanding as those two since she still can do a lot of stuff without gravitons. She's just not top tier without them and limiting them limits how long she can be top tier but when you have someone like Valk or Arakune in the game, making an issue about how Kokonoe plays without her drive makes no sense. They are far worse off than she is. It's as though you're coming from a place of thinking of Kokonoe as being entitled to being perpetually top tier. It's like people really thought Kokonoe was supposed to be how she was in 1.0/1.1 and that nothing was off about that, which ignores the majority of the rest of the characters and how they were. Paying attention to how much she was nerfed isn't gonna tell you how good she is now, it's just gonna tell you how good she was before she was nerfed. It's not the only possibility that she is bad, she could still be plenty good while not being top tier even with all those new drawbacks. There's not just S tier and D tier and while you do say she's a strong character I fear that your following point somewhat detracts from that message which I believe ought to be front and center. As for fewer people being able to use her properly, that also has little to do with anything so it's irrelevant. Sadly, there's some bad chars (like Arakune) who are very weird to use while Ragna and Jin seem super top tier in cp2 and they also are the most beginner-friendly of the cast. Ultimately, my point I guess is that Kokonoe will just have to be a regular character and that there's nothing wrong about that. If people wanna drop her because of that then it's their prerogative but I think they should still be able to win with her now if they won with her in the past. It will just take more effort.

May can 3K under Beak Driver but that's about it, kinda. Also 6P owns dolphins too hard for her to deal with so it seals her options in that way too. She still has good mixups off of knockdown but neutral is hell so we wanna keep it in neutral.

The gravitons regenerate at a decent pace it seems, the issue is more that "activate" also uses up one graviton stock, not just the actual placement of it.

I think the game room will have the games up anyways, they had em the other two times I went anyhow. I will bring my games with me in case they lack some of the more uncommon fare like Arcana heart or Dengeki Bunkou. Oh and from my knowledge, Vyers and Glitch are also coming, not sure who else.

Gonna be at anime boston this weekend. Looking forward to playing games with people from all around!

If you have enough food to do that though you might as well just not do the loop at all and go into the j6H route off of 236[H] which does a whole lot more damage and still ends in food. I guess the 5H loops are good for when you have exactly 1000 less calories than you need to end the j6H route with (j)236H but that situation is honestly so uncommon it almost never happens.

Yep, already preordered from ami ami. The wait is too long. It's a full 3 months of wait for no reason. Also I can enjoy the story in JP so the lack of English doesn't bother me. Plus we get Library Mode. I wonder if the US version will have it lol.

Dunno, it feels identical to me. Even if it's not "absolutely" minimum it's still good enough though. Oh and maybe the difference is jump startup, maybe Bang jumps a frame faster or something.

You can do crescent instant overheads with Nu lol. It's like that.

Terumi is bottom tier but since BB is balanced if someone is clearly superior they can always easily win in a way which makes the character seem good. Doesn't mean he is good, just that he is still viable but requires a lot of work for rewards that other characters get handed to them.

You still can TK them, the TK ones are like of the past with the exception of one of them appearing right on top of you so you can set and use it asap.
