Onimusha Blade Warriors IMO wasn't that bad a game. IIRC the balance sucked and items were lame but I remember that actually being just about a complete list of my major complaints with that game. Edit: momentarily forgot about the countering in that game. yeah GTFO with the counters too.

The ruling on Petshop from what I've been told multiple times is that he's softbanned. Man, two posts today about Petshop, which makes me happy since that's two posts about this game. So I learned how to do combos into/out of stand rush the other day. My dio is now about 1.364x better. I say this as though I had anyone to play. JJBA for GGPO since we have 3S now plzkthx ponder?

I'm in this state, so I'll probably be at MWC. It won't be my first tourney playing ABA (I played her for last MWC) but it'll be my first playing her as my primary main as opposed to Dizzy. Gotta practice up...

Well if you want to mod one, yes the namco stick. but the T5 stick is more or less perfectly fine for a first stick anyway, IMO. Hell, it's pretty good even past that.

None of them are fighting games. They're both more action games than anything. Ougon no Kaze is a 1-on-1 action game kind of thing most of the time, recreating the manga's fights. Phantom Blood is a brawler, more or less, also recreating the fights but throwing random stuff in to pad it out at times. GioGio's Bizarre Adventure: Ougon no Kaze was based on Part 5 and was pretty good for what it was. I enjoyed it. Worth checking out if you're a fan, maybe even if you're not, but the japanese makes it a little tough to tell how to fight and win sometimes (reading the manga helped tremendously). JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood was based on JONATHAN Joestar's arc (the first part of the manga) and was alright. Not the best game, IMO the weakest part of the manga, but it was fun to play. I guess my main complaint would be that it's like if Melty Blood had no limit on how many times you could reverse beat back to 2A or something and every single attack you had could be reverse beated back to 2A. Or, more fitting for Dustloop, if you could RC every hit back to the first hit. And not only that, doing the RC/Reverse Beat gets you a stat bonus and you do a neat pose that freezes everything while you pose. The only other JoJo's game is an SNES RPG based on part 3 (same as the fighting game).

English arcade version and USA DC version (I think, I don't remember if I unlocked him) call what we call "Young Joseph" "JoJo." also no, having the psx version is pretty awesome because honestly even if it's the worst version of the game, super story mode is awesome. That and it's a collectible.

The problem in placing Pyron and Huitzil despite not being in VS is that they aren't in VS. VS is the only game of the series that has this exact system or something along those lines. Vampire Savior 2 and Vampire Hunter 2 tweak dumb things and make the games fail (again, apparently anyway), otherwise one of those is what we'd be playing. to be honest, I wouldn't know anyway, I didn't invest any time into the rest of the series.

My favorite tier list for this game breaks it up into 3 groups of 5 but ranks everyone individually. Felicia and Lei Lei are in the lower end of the middle group, and Lilith is near the top of the bottom group, which is pretty mid tier. It's something like: Sas, Q-Bee, Zabel, Talbain, Bulleta Demitri, Bishamon, Felicia, Aubath, Lei Lei Jedah, Lilith, Victor, Morrigan, Anakaris also pyron and huitzil shouldn't be in Vampire Savior, which is Darkstalkers 3... they were in Night Warriors and Chronicles and that was it.

I dunno about you guys but I don't care about 98 competitively so I'm just going to play Goenitz/Geese/Orochi Leona. well that and a team for if I ever have to play a tournament, which would be Geese/Leona/Orochi Chris.

he's about #4 in the game for most people I think. he's mostly just REALLY easy for a pretty strong character (IMO anyway).

Play any arcana you want for Kira, but personally I really like stone. I have no idea what's considered best, I just play stone and 6D and people try to hit my autoguard for some reason and I throw them and/or do a stone punch loop.

Air command grab super, is that new? I can't remember because I didn't know her whole command list too well to begin with, but I seem to recall it not being in before. I'll be playing zenia for the pilebunker, or at least trying her. >>

Oh, you CAN do 3 off of the EXPLODE? I was only able to get two when I was messing with the loops in training. :/

Rekkas -> EXPLODE is hilarious, I wish there was a reason to use it. it makes my corner combos less flashy for like the same damage. ... is there?

Yeah I only really use D, anything B can do D can do better pretty much... Except build meter.
