  1. Game Chariot 2/28 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xkrj70ghsV0
  2. GGs to my room. Fuck Yosuke.
  3. The commentator actually says his name. Sounds like "Kouzezka".
  4. I share the sentiments about 236A. The recovery is faster I think; in the mirror match, the second Liz couldn't punish 236A with their own 236A (or the startup is slower/the other player mis-timed his punish). If anything really stood out to me though, it's j.C CH. This player got 3K or so off of it, even if for 25 meter, is still kinda nice imo. I'm thinking that throw/j.C will become a mixup, since there's reward off of j.C now. There's more reason to use this move vs say Mitsuru now too, for the same reason of getting damage off of it (j.B being low profiled usually lead to Liz getting bopped, and j.C doesn't have this problem).
  5. 2/26 TRF singles: Elizabeth vs. Elizabeth Elizabeth vs. Yukari (j.C CH combo looks pretty cool!) Shadow Labrys vs. Elizabeth Persona Sho vs. Elizabeth
  6. You guys are so lucky. I've never gotten hatemail on PSN; I've only received compliments .
  7. Which is why it's kind of silly that, if anything, you're only comboing off of it with your opponent's back to the corner. It pushes the move into further obscurity. Impractical input (arguably so), guard point instead of invul, and it's not a tool for the middle of combos, even those in the corner. It's all observation so far, and thusly I could be totally wrong, but this move is not looking good. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  8. I would say yes, you have the right idea. I think conditioning is important for Liz since your other options to get hits aren't as good. 5C > 2C/5D is good, but also keep in mind that there're more options too. Like 5C OMC > (delay) 5C, 5C > 5C, xx > 2D > punish, 5C > 214A/B, 5C > 2C OMC > 5B > 5D, etc. As long as you never keep running the same thing for too long, you'll be fine.
  9. Yeah, I figured that's why you have a good connection with Houdini. I get a good connection with EvilDante (Ohio), so we'll probably be fine. I'll be on at 10-11PM.
  10. I never thought I could play this bad lol. Regardless, GGs to my lobby. I'll do better next time ~ Are you midwest too, Speakeasy? We can try our connection tomorrow if you want.
  11. My lobby has one open space I think. The room filled up surprisingly quick.
  12. Getting on now. If our connection isn't too bad, I wouldn't mind playing you. I'll have a lobby up at any rate.
  13. Hopping on around 11 or so. Will be playing till 12.
  14. 7PM.
  15. Okusan responded to my tweet about doing 5A > DP and he more or less confirmed that it's an option against Randomizer. I guess we ended up getting a charge version of Labrys DP . My last hope for this move is that you can combo into it.
  16. 3/2 Taito Station FF (EL) vs. Nonono (AK) (Randomizer, finally!)
  17. This has been the case for the majority of Elizabeth match videos so far, lol. The Liz player could've beat the Sho player if he realized that teleport was beating Zio every time. Obviously he cannot adapt (or hitconfirm/complete combos). Anyway, Damosu apparently ran a 42 game win streak. Why wasn't that recorded ? I wanna see the high level tech. Edit: It appears to me that Randomizer has guard point (not 100% sure though). If that's the case, I'm wondering if it's possible to do XX > DP in time to avoid being countered.
  18. Arcade cabinets only have 6 buttons afaik (3 top/3 bottom).
  19. I use my thumb, but it can be anything you want really. After all, Xrd has like 5 button setups. http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Controls_(GGXRD)#Arcade_Layout
  20. Netplaying for an hour or so. GGs to my room. I'm glad that I was able to apply all of the skills I gained playing Lightning Returns for 2-3 weeks to P4U .
  21. Japanese Liz play 101 TRF 2on2 2/7: Elizabeth vs. Teddie Elizabeth vs. Shadow Labrys Elizabeth vs. Sho (Persona)
  22. I ended up picking Akihiko as my sub character in P4U. I think he's similar to Elizabeth in the sense that they're really momentum heavy characters (this is more so true of Elizabeth than Akihiko, at least to me), so it's not much of a change to switch between them. Similar to Liz, Aki spends a lot of time blocking, picking spots, etc. But just like Elizabeth, he can body people cleanly on offense (easier than Elizabeth since he has actual mixup, and his own set of gimmicks). They're almost like two sides of the same coin.
  23. I see. Thanks for explaining.
  24. Can someone explain what "rejected!" means? Throw tech was the first thing that came to mind, but apparently those aren't in the game . Occurs at 2:24 in this video.
  25. Yeah, the console patch is in May.
