Ive been having a slight issue execution-wise. Any combo that has 236B>214A>2B/2C I tend to drop. (I can land it about 3 out of every 10 tries.) Is it just a timing thing or is there way to make it easier for me? In general I need to get accustomed to the 4 Mirage Thrusters and their uses, but its mostly in combos where I find it hard to use.

I wasnt complaining about the english dub. I personally just found it out of character for Rachel to say scrub. And the text mistakes in story mode dont bother me at all (Just that Ragna vs Azrael cutscene, because the words and text didnt match at all.)

Wasnt Platinum's Gag Reel just a parody of magical girl shows? I could see Arakune's. His gag reel was all over the place.

Well, at least I dont have to worry about XBlaze. I was wondering what Kagura meant by the Alpha & Beta things, and then I ran into this post on some other forum. And it seems that this game takes a number of FGC terms, not just scrub. It now refers to missed attacks af whiffs now, whereas in CS, it would just refer to it as a miss attack (As seen in some characters' challenge mode) just something small I noticed in the tutorial. Jin calling people scrubs kinda fits his attitude I guess (since he only really calls Noel that), but Rachel...just no.

Do you mind clarifying? I dont know too much about memes,so I never really noticed anything of that nature. Only meme I recognized was in Extend when Bang calls Jin an "Ice Car Spammer." And I can stomach the translation (Im not a picky person.), but the Ragna vs Azrael anime cutscene had a downright horrible translation. Where in the rest of the game everyone's hiccups were a skipped word or two, Ragna and Rachel were saying completely different sentences. @Luminos-I agree with you on my fear for XBlaze. On one hand, Im glad/suprised they're bringing it over to the states, but on the other, I fear that the translation will ruin the experience for me. @Oniros-Atlus wont. Persona stuff is their lifeblood, and the only thing ASW governs is the gameplay.

Just want to clarify, they are still meat buns in this game (Thank god.) Though half the time she's referring to Litchi's rack, as usual.

Mine won't download into my PS3. Shame, the Extend soundtrack worked just fine. How did this one mess up?

For the sake of brevity (im on my lunch break right now), can I add any of you guys? I think playing with you guys can help me learn what exactly I should be doing with Izayoi.

Sometimes I'll take a week or two haitus from the game, and when I get back, I can play somewhat better. I like to to to training mode a lot, but when I go to an actual match, I cant really apply any of what Ive learned (I really should've put that in the OP.) I wish I had people to play with locally. All I got is my brother. He doesnt know the game and just uses Tager. It hardly counts. Very rarely have I noticed myself sinking into autopilot, and have made a concious effort to stop it. Its usually after aforementioned haitus, or other activity to help cool down. I should be getting a new phone in the upcoming months, so I could use that.

@Grendy: I was debating dropping Jin (He was my main in Extend), because I couldnt adapt well to the new move mechanics, but now Ive decided to just sit down and try to re-learn the dude. Im also learning Izayoi. As a fresh new character Ive taken interest in. @Crimson & Cake: I try that every now and then, but because Im not too saavy when it comes to terms and general skill, I only notice the glaringly obvious (Whiffing throws & DPs, Jumping into an opponens setup, etc.) I should probably just get some recording equipment and upload the replays to a critique thread. On another note, Im kinda good as Kagura & Mitsuru from their respective games. I think its just because they're good characters in which case im autopiloting and need to stop (I still love them though).

I have had a very tough time the past couple of years learning BlazBlue. Recently, it seems like I was starting to actually get better at it, but with CP english on the horizon, I fear that Im gonna start from square one again. I lurk here every now and then, and make the occasional passing comment, but Ive never actually sat down and asked for help to this extent (I didnt really know how without coming off as stupid or a jackass, as foolish as that sounds.) As the name explains, Im stuck at a wall when it comes to BB. Ive played the game for roughly 2 1/2 years and most of my skills are self-taught (I know terminology and stuff from combo & tutorial vids, but little else outside that.) Because I had virtually no assistance learning this game, my pressure and Neutral FAIL, regardless of character. I have no knowledge on frame data as well, as another point to my ignorance. Actually, the only thing im good at is combos and even then I drop a good 30-50% of them. They say stating what you did wrong is the first step to improvement, so there it is. What Im asking is for someone to teach me (or better yet, guide me) to get out of this rut of ignorace and failure. Im open to any form of advice. Thank you to anyone who read and even bothered to look at this request. I just want to improve.

214D can beat zoners? Thats really good to know seeing as no matter who I play as, I have the hardest time againsst Nu or Mu. From what it seems, D Saber is best used in Netplay lol. Im afraid I might start a bad habit if I rely on it. Celerity, you said the combo thread will be up soon? That's awesome. I'll be sure to check it out (I need all the help I can get).

If Makoto/Minato shows up in P4 Ultimax, would he have Messiah or Orpheus (Telos)? I was playing P3FES earlier today, and noticed how Messiah would be badass in Arena. But more seriously Messiah is his Ultimate Persona as shown in P3's credits(And Makoto/Minato is considered the Messiah due to his sacrifice), while Orpheus Telos is (also?) his Ultimate Persona. I doubt he would have Thanatos because of Elizabeth.

Thanks badlime &crimson. It seems that combo is something worth learning (and implementing) at the very least. Is the oki idea optimal? It sounds neat in theory but does it justify the cost of those stocks? (Regardless, I'll try D Saber oki, as it seems like a good way to throw em' off gaurd.

I just wanted to ask what the best way to handle Izayoi's stocks would be like. Could anyone please lay out a general gameplan for stock management (What's worth using it on, certain situations, etc.) Im trying to take notes on these things so I gave I can better know what im doing when I play this character.

Thanks for the input. When I see Izayoi Im just like "Wow, she looks so fun, I gotta use her." But I completely disregard that she's not Ragna. I just wasnt sure how hard she would be. Im willing to put in the time to learn her if I truly enjoy playing her.
