First post updated to include the new tips that are submitted by Ryd' and Choysauce. From this point on, I will like it for people who have questions submit those to the Q&A thread. I want this thread to be for people to submit their tips and tricks, not to ask questions; so, to prevent any further confusion, questions should be asked at the Q&A thread instead of here.

Why does it feel weird to go back to P4A after taking a little break from it? Anyway, good games SenXXi.

[CP] News & Gameplay Discussion (Old)
MikelAL93 replied to kosmos badgirl's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
He was also the voice of Guile in SFIV and SFxT, Chad in Bleach, and Raven in Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core + and GG2: Overture. I like Hiroki Yasumoto's voice work too, so I guess I will pick up Azrael, but its currently a tie on either I use him or Amane. -
PSN Ranbats - Questionare and Interest check
MikelAL93 replied to MikelAL93's topic in P4A Online Play
I could work something out if we do it biweekly, and Saturdays seem like a great time to start ranbats. As for the chat room, I have to agree with Jyosua on IRC, its annoying to leave the PSN chat when a match starts, so I will hopefully get an IRC channel for the ranbats up and running when available. Thanks for the inputs on this, guys. Circ's post really must be a great option for all of us including myself. -
BROKENTIER - Clothing for virtual punchy game players
MikelAL93 replied to koogy's topic in Zepp Museum
That design looks really interesting. It looks like something that I can really look into. I can't wait till that shirt is done. And will you provide it in other colors like black as well? -
Yes, I already posted about that yesterday. :P

I hope the same. Who wouldn't want to see an English dub for a GG game? I also hope the Vita version features cross-platform play with the PS3 version as well.

Gulity Gear Accent Core Plus R is coming to PlayStation Vita next year with full voice acting. Looks like this will be a good reason for me to skip the PSN download release if the Vita version is retail. http://www.siliconera.com/2012/09/11/guilty-gear-xx-accent-core-plus-r-coming-to-vita-next-year/

Does your HDTV lag a bit worse on PS3 when compared to 360? or does it lag in general?

Added Choysauce's new contributions to the OP.

I have to agree there. Having two separate threads; one for tips & tricks, and one for blockstrings will make things cluttered and confusing. Thanks for merging the threads together, pk. I'm also glad that I am able to help out the Yukiko sections by contributing stuff and threads to help out with the forums. <3 I also apologize for making two separate threads for tips and tricks and blockstrings. I just want to help out a bit and contribute stuff to the Yukiko sections by making threads for tips, tricks, and blockstrings.

Quick question from a player who uses normal Labrys. In your opinion, how easy or difficult is it to transition to Shadow Labby from her normal counterpart? And what things do I need to make note of when I do make that switch? I've been thinking about using Shadow Labrys for a while, but at a possible cost of replacing normal Labrys with her. So at the moment, it's a "maybe" decision for me to use Shadow Labby.

Stunedge is among one of the best Yukiko players I have seen. Thanks for sharing these setups that Stunedge used before on here.

Added to the OP. It sure does sound like a great tip for those DP happy characters like Kanji, Narukami, Yosuke, or anyone else but Teddie for that matter.

I guess I will make a thread like that, but it may take some time unless we have some blockstrings to add to it.

As someone who was born in FL, I guess I will pop up here to talk to you guys as well. What's crackin' ya'll? Even though I have Asperger's Syndrome (an autism spectrum disorder), I'm not sure if that counts as full autism...

We have a lot of people here that are into fighting games, some that are into shooters (CoD, BF, etc.), and some that are into League of Legends. For the fighting game half, most of us are into SF, KOF, BB, GG, and Persona. We have casuals every Friday for all fighters like iw2ma mentioned. It's nice to see another FGC player in Tulsa getting involved in the scene here.

The more you play with the PS3 pad, the more you will get used to it.

Found another method when fighting against Yukiko during the mirror match on PSN. Thanks to E3vE3 WAZ HEA for testing it with me. Before or when one Yukiko throws her fans, have the other Yukiko summon a C or D Maragi to have it go under the fans. This will help with oki and mixups along the way.

Good games to E3vE3. I had a lot of fun and learned some stuff for Yukiko today. I hope you can get back to the PS3 you used to play some more games with me next time.

New avatar request because I am such a Chun-Li fan. :D If possible, I would love to have this in an avatar size with Chun-Li's SFIII 3S stage as the background behind Chun-Li. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f4/Chun-Li_tatsunoko.png Oh, and as an added bonus, I would love to have a border around the image with the words "Mikel" in the bottom right corner of it like last time as well.

Hello everyone, just figured that I want to know if any of you are interested in some PSN ranbats for P4U. I aim to make these ranbats to help players that do or do not like ranked matches, or better yet, want something to practice in anticipation for tournaments with P4U as a main event game. I have options available for the ranbats, I want some opinions or suggestions on them and what you think are best on what the general public will prefer. NOTE: I hope to do the first one sometime before the end of the month, if successful, I hope to make them available every 2 weeks after each concluded ranbat. If you are interested, give your input and hopefully I can work something out. 1. Organization I am going to use Challonge for the brackets, but for communication, I have two options available for the ranbats and one I will leave for suggestions. Descriptions are as follows: PSN chat room - PSN has a feature where you can start chat rooms and organize casuals with the players involved. Results can be reported in through the chat room. Dustloop - The forums will be where I will post the info about the ranbats, but it can take some time because you need a browser to access it. Results can be reported in through a PM to me or on the PSN chat room. Other - Suggestions are welcome, but be sure to include where to send the results. 2. Time and Day Self-explanitory. If you participate in the ranbats, what time and day would you prefer to be available on? (To prevent clashing with the XBL ranbats, Saturday would seem fine, but that's just me) In your opinion, what will be the best day and time for the ranbats to be held? - Just to make sure, let me know what day and time you are available at. This will help me set up a valid date/time. I live in the central coast of the US, splitting the ranbats into two timezone groups (CST/EST and PST/MST) can help sort out connections separately, but I need your opinions on how it should be handled. 3. Player registration numbers This will be a ranbat, but in case the timezones are divided into two groups, a recommended number of players for it is always encouraged. 8, 16, or 32 player (Tournament friendly) entry, but remove those that have dropped out. - This is obviously a fan favorite option, but the choice is up to you. If the ranbats are divided between CST/EST and PST/MST, then 32 player entry may have to be encouraged. Save reservations for players that are interested. 4. Point Structure I will keep score of the players participating through a spreadsheet on Google Docs. Points for participation, plus bonus points for those who placed high in the ranbat rankings. Points for participation, plus bonus points for whenever you advance a round. 5. Disconnection from the match In the case of a disconnection... Other notes: [*]Netplay Lag - Let me know on whoever is lagging during your match. If I get enough complaints from that player on their opponent during the ranbat, I will temporarily suspend their entry until they fix their lag issue. While I don't like this option, a laggy player will never make things fun. [*]Streaming - I currently lack the necessary equipment for streaming the matches, but if you want to volunteer, let me know. [*]Character Lock - Yes, your character choice is locked within each tournament; but when the next one starts, you can change your character. [*]You must register with your main PSN account - I will not encourage those who sign up with backups. If you signed up with the PSN provided, that will be the account you will use for the ranbats. No backup accounts are allowed when signing up. Let me know whenever you are interested in a PSN ranbat series. I expect five answers before I can work something out. If you have any questions or concerns, don't be shy to ask. Thanks for your time, and I hope we can have some fun PSN ranbats in the future! [*]Forfeit the match - The ranbats will be best of 2 out of 3, so things will move smoothly. [*]Forfeit the round - A rematch will have to be done, but it may slow things down. [*]Rematch - May slow things down.

Alright, cool. I hope to get more PSN match videos up and running on my YT page in the coming weeks.

Phantom Breaker (Now coming to arcades)
MikelAL93 replied to Hecatom's topic in Misc Fighter Central
It is the same guy, his voice is always similar in most of his announcing work. -
I hope individual PSN matches are allowed. If so, I have two I want to share: [08/07/12] Mikel93 (YK) vs. Jodash64 (YK) - My first match on PSN, which was also a ranked match. I guess I wasn't too shabby there. [08/10/12] Mikel93 (YK) vs. Viper22331 (NA) - Player match. My apologies if they are recorded from a phone. XD
