Calling it terrible without even understanding that, shows me you've either haven't read up on it, or are just horribly misinformed.

Pressure. Keep pressuring to get your hitconfirm, and once you get that confirm then combo. Like Dio said, go to Training Mode, set dummy to block random and practice which move you want to confirm and go into a combo with. If you're stuck on which block strings to use, refer to the revolver table on the Wiki and/or watch videos to see which blockstrings work in pressure.

Midscreen I just tend to use the 6C>DC 6B>2C>5C>etc. etc. because it does decent damage. I've tried to use Dead Spike midscreen, it doesn't work. At all. If I have 50 meter to burn then I use 5B>5C>2D RC>66 5C>hjc>j.C>j.D>etc. etc. How so?
