I have a doubt, i downloaded tendo gai, duolon and other chars but I cant play them, the screen goes black and says the character needs to be updated. what should I do? could someone explain to me...in details if posible??? thanks

haha i love GD, its just too old school = insanely good, and reminds me of Slash days...aaah good days. Anyway, I this the basic Gravedigger combo is: CH Gravedigger, 5S, JC, j.k, j.s, j.H, 1-hit BL into P phantom soul/5H, BL/ another 1-hit combo. I dont use it THAT often since I save my tension for h EXE frc and other stuffs, but generally I use GD when im too lazy for those side witch combos, it works well and still gives yu the side switch and the knockdown/curse

Is there any advantage or plus if i do a roger move with that fire effect??? you know, the one u get by holding H when yo-yo is out?

I use the same method as Caer, just because the 66K timing seems a bit akward to me, anyway. I usually go for like 3 or 4 reps and then let them fall, just to have time to set my traps and go for an okizeme, of course i have to be very careful againt baiken. Now if I bl loop them outside a throw I do as many reps as i can, just for the damage and meter PD: God...i hate ky, its almost imposible to bl loop that french guy after a throw without using tension , so what I do is to let him fall and just lay a web or a tree and mix-up or I do a 1-hit and then run and okizeme. anyone has another options? PD2: poor DVD XD...i know you train hard, keep going

aah Gravedigger good old move, I miss the Slash days...anyway, i only use it on some corner combos, or to surprise my opponent since its pretty fast and has no recovery at landing, wich is sick. Its better to save tension for s or H exe frc, i dont use GD in combos because BL has basically the same function GD has. But if you manage to land a CH gravedigger you can juggle the opp after landing or H exe FRC and then combo. But as I said i dont use FB Gravedigger in combos that much, i stick with BL, but there are some situations in wich is nice to throw it (corner combos ending with a curse for example)

i have a little problem cuz i had to restart all over again in my pc, so downloaded all the shit, but when i try to run the ggxx.exe it says that the .dll file is not on the folder, but it IS on the folder...so i dont know whats wrong with that, can someone help me, what should i do now? -
Well...if you practice the combo and manage to do it...why not?, because i think the combo ends in knockdown so, you still have time to lay a net or a tree or a k skull, but if you feel that its better to go for an okizeme...go for it, there`s no sin in that. PD: still waiting for your answer about the song Caer. =/

From my experience, 2K linking -> 2D or 2H is not that hard, but requieres timing, i suggest you to check slayer`s legs, and press 2D/2H when his legs are returning from the kick, i always look at his legs and i know when to press the buttons.

how can i do the 2D -> j.D or the f.s --> j.D i cant do it, is there any trick to do it perfectly?

Wow, more Shounen madness. about your matches, sometimes you tend to rely or to try to BL loop too much, its ok to BL loop after a throw or a really nice set-up, but now always like after a sweep, or in situations when you see you wouldnt be able to loop them but you try it anyways, in that kind of situations I usually let them fall, and place a net or something like that as an Okizeme, that way you can make your game safer and stronger. I`ve been playing against an Axl player lately. Fortunately he`s a 2H whorer, so i`ve been developing strategies against him, for example. Try to be as close to axl as posible, he cant do that much if you`re right in front of him, try to go for a knockdown first, and then pressure (be careful with Tenhouseki "the counter"). now the problem is, how do I approach to axl?? sometimes, if he`s in the air, I IAD.+D, or IAD BL. or wait until he lands and throw a S exe beast frc and dash into pressure expecting a knockdown. If he likes to throw Rashousen (that unblockable ball)I always jump and D or BL or FB Gravedigger, why? because even if he fakes the ball, you still have time to react and punish, so, as soon as you see a blue ball on axl arms, jump and punish. at the beginning its hard to do on reaction (I still cant do it consistently) but after practice you will master it. more axl help soon.

When i BBU and long range (not max) i walk a bit and then i use 2D and it hits my opp and then , c,s. f.s etc etc. im not sure if 2D works at max range, but the mappa idea its nice, in the cv Sakura, shows that after an air hit mappa at long range you have time to 5p and air combo (against zappa) so i think mappa its the best option besides a well timed 6H

Hello, today practicing a bit I thought "How I miss the Phantom soul after a throw shit", then I remembered the Electric communication CV, and i said: "maybe...ok lets test this shit". And I can confirm this, you CAN phantom soul the opp after a throw near the corner like this: Corner Throw (you have to throw them to the corner), H Exe Beast, 6K, Net, dash jump, j.k, j.s, j.h, BL (1-hit), land (side-switch) 5H, net, tk BL, p phantom soul. I could only test this on sol, but it works perfectly. On characters like Baiken, after the first net, its easier if you do: dash jump, j.s, j.p, j.s, BL (1-hit) the timing is kinda hard, but once you get it its very useful to get a curse. on heavy ones like potem, i couldnt get this, so if someone could try to land this combo on pot and make it work it would be appreciated. I`ll keep testing on other characters.

ok since caer did Testament, i`ll do: Venom pros: + With the right ball formation he can be very annoying + He has many different ball formations (5), and you can use them to attack, to defend, to pressure, to cover your rushdown, etc) + Venom is still one of the best pressurers and zoners in the game + 5H now staggers on any hit, also is the only poke that allow venom to connect Dubious Curv in a combo + 6H now bounces...and still causes knockdown + Dubie Curv has a sliding effect (easier DC loop in the corner), and its recovery can be canceled into Ball summon + Now venom gets really scary when he throws you (he can summon 2/3 balls in the process and still get a knockdown) + Carcass Raid can be charged adding another useful tool to his pressure game + His sweep its better now (not as good as in #R, but better than in Slash at least) it seems to have his old range back, but its still slower than his #R 2D + His new 6P its a decent anti-air, it chains into 6H for knockdown or some nice combos + FB Mad struggle is excelent, really fast overhead if TKed and gives a very big bounce wich you can follow with a combo + FB Double Head Morbid gives a knockdown, its faster and has more hits, good combo ender. + Dark Angel its faster so its not so easy to escape from it now + Dubious Curv its a Lv 6 attack now, so its safer than before on block (though still kinda risky to throw it outside a combo) cons: - He has problems with fast characters that can interrupt or escape his ball formations and punish him (millia, chipp, jam) - Stinger Aim FRC changed, now its a bit later. - Red Hail is still a not so good OD - He cant do much without his balls in many cases - Hard character to master, you have to master the charging system - Need space to create a ball formation, and several characters can punish this (testament, chipp, ky)

If you see an IAD tatami, throw her an Imperial Ray in her face =P. No, but seriously, an agro baiken is very dangerous...specially for dizzy. Usually i throw a holding spear, just in case she starts jumping and all the stuff, the Fb homing bubble works nice here too. so, in other words, keep her away, go for the knockdown and start pressuring like mad.

Well, I saw like 2 or 3 missed warrants against faust, and you know a missed warrant its like you´re begging him to kill you. So i advice you to throw warrant when hes pressuring, so, turtle a bit, make him think that he got you and then throw warrant (FRC/RCit if he blocks). That faust guy is really good BTW, nice matches man, keep going.

question: if your opp is cornered, its worth to do, gatling into Lv3 BHB, dash, Throw, "wallstick combo"?} I saw it on Midnight Flame CM, but i dont know if theres better damage options in the corner.

not bad man, that 1-hit loop was nice, but you have to work on your Ozikeme, instead of OTG the opp, lay a net before they wake up, throw k phantom souls, etc. but nice overall

Well, i`ve been playing against sol a bit this week, and now its easier to fight if you can zone him as some of you told me, obviously GV is still a pain, but not that much if he cant get the CL. Baiken has given me troubles, her counters pretty much mess up my Dizzy okizeme, but i`ve found that he really like to do the stab counter, so i think Dizzy`s 2D can beat it, but i havent found something to beat the superman (maybe 2s?), any ideas?
