Montreal: Le Thread Generale Pour Weeaboo Fighters

>9. DerQ (Amane, DQ'd self) Wait what? Why what happened? -
I think you meant 22C not 66C. And as an option select... lets see... well the thing is, you can't input 22C until Azhi lands anyway, so if he gets hit before then, this is useless. You can't really define this as an option select since you really aren't really getting a second option. If you do 22C and Azhi gets hit on the right frame, he teleports; if he doesnt get hit, he teleports anyway. Theres no result where he would just do "nothing" so that you save your meter. This is because the 22C input window is the same in both cases and if you input 22C, you're committed to getting 22C and nothing else. And in the worst case, you time 22C wrong and Azhi gets hit and actually just dies.
-
Okay so I tested it. Annnddd it actually kinda works. From either 236A > 22C or 623A > 623B > 22C you can trigger the post mortem glitch. So heres the good part. When Azhi gets hit, he will fade away like normal. BUT, Azhi will respawn instantly at Chaos' position and then teleport behind your opponent to do his 22C attack. The best part here is that Azhi can be fully controlled afterwards and NOT instantly fade away like the other post-mortem attacks. So we are in fact instantly reviving Azhi as he gets hit.

I can coach. Me: Psstttt. Pick Gordeau. -
Hmmm the only issue is that you can only do 22C when Azhi is on the ground so if youre doing anything other than 236A it wouldn't be too useful. Postmortem attacks still need to follow the rules for moves that Azhi can use in each situation. Regardless, Ill give it a test anyway. See what we find ;o

Soooooo we'll probably be leaving and getting to Ottawa Friday (weather permitting) anddd we havent figured out where to crash.

So apparently these are the top ranking Chaos players in arcade: 1位: ラウワン大好き 1708385 2位: カズヤЯ 1640988 3位: パプピプ 1531876 4位: ロケット@福岡ケイアスおじさん 1498470 5位: 町田ぽんこつくん 1470469 6位: サド犬 1371679 7位: せはらだよ 1120496 8位: 優 猫 1102784 9位: リントナム 1090411 10位: 【恭】 1018072 But im having trouble finding matches for the highest ranked player. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDS0_XszNDo#t=16m20s I thought this would be decent to point out. EDIT: Included the proper time stamp sorry. Yeah its just 66C > reverse 623A > orb hits. Thought it looked nice to see it applied in a match. Thats all :\/

So quick question about the format. Is it player A plays player A and player B plays player B? or Pokemon style where you just keep going until one team KOs. -
Rough Frame data is here btw: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/tZB4qFEkH8gP-3j8LDx7h2w/htmlview?pli=1

Just to remind everyone that im Waterloo now. Kappa. Lets get this thread uppity again. First off. DFC is coming out soon. Whos playing that?

Got around to dumping all these combos into one document + some others found in this thread. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z-5iXxZ3cValVTsvYHVcD-ub8oi_BeBybn1Hc8ftKhk/edit?usp=sharing Other stuff: So I made an /attempt/ to find an infinite blockstring with Chaos when you sandwich your opponent between yourself and Azhi. Basically what I did was try to loop the auto combo pressure string ad infinitum where Azhi would just push your opponent back into Chaos and he can link back into another 5A auto combo string. So like from a knockdown setup: Whatever combo > 2C > B[C] (hold C to keep Azhi behind your opponent)> 236A "meaty" > 2B > 5BB > 5AAAAAA (Azhi does 236A > 623A which pushes them back to Chaos > link 5AAAAAA (Azhi pushes them back to you again) > More pressure You can only loop the auto combo string twice though (and thats assuming your opponent isnt shielding at the right spots) since Azhi will actually slash through and miss his target. If Azhi didnt could move back or stay in his spot rather than always moving toward Chaos then this would probably work fine :/
-
Neato. Unrelated note: Something ive been implementing a lot more is when you use 236A > 22A in a blockstring, you can just hold block and wait for them to mash something. Azhi pops out and hits them and you can even link into VO if youre a good distance. Works pretty well against 2CC mashy Merkavas.

Seth sucks. kappa -
Uhhh dont forget that you have to actually WHIFF 5C before you get to 5CC, so its the startup of 5C + 5CC. Id probably try like 5B or something though. unrelated side note: If Merkava does TOO LATE grab (214X grab) from full screen and you block it with Azhi Dahaka next to him. You can easily punish him with reversal 236A. Obvious but worth mentioning c:
