Well thats disappointing. I guess I should have actually checked that. Annnddd thats also disappointing. Another day in playing Chaos I guess. :c
-
Oh, this is pretty good actually. The 623A portion of the auto combo is enough frame advantage to go back to 5BB (this isnt a chain btw, youre linking the part of the blockstring) so you get to restore all of your gatlings.
-
Nope its an air chain. Theres no rejumping, youre in the air for the entire duration.
-
So came up with something during my lab session: Corner j.6D > j.2C > j.A > j.236A > CS > j.6D > j.2C > j.A Basically a quadruple overhead. Works because CS will reset your air dash so you can do another one. You can easily interchange the overhead for a low or a throw. Theres a few gaps, but its a frame trap if they don't reversal with super or something. P.S: Yes it works, I got it off on netplay right after thinking of it. kappaaaa P.S.S: Other things I want to talk about. The assault j.2C combos are pretty fimmicky sometimes if you're too far. Ive literally had the 2C just barely whiff way too many times. Your assaults have to be kind of deep for the combo to work, if youre assaulting from full distance you won't get the combo in most cases, so watch out. Same principle apply for any other crouching confirm. Ive also theorized that you should use [Azhi attack > 2A whiff > micro dash > next Azh attack > repeat] to get some distance on your opponent. Only problem is that if your opponent doesn't respect it, they can very easily hit Azhi. You can stlll try to frame trap with like 236C or something just because its really fast though. Oh and you can do Azhi combos from full screen even if you whiff 2As between every attack: 236A > 2A > 236B > 2A > 623A > 2A > 623B > 2A > 214A Its useless but kinda fun I guess.

I made an entire video on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h2XXdWeOCM (8:00)

Please let me know if I made any typos, dont really have time to proof read atm. Also I dont state it, but make sure youre not letting Chaos ground bounce when hes not supposed to. For example, 236C causes a ground bounce at the end, but you want to pick them up before that in most cases. Combo 6 doesnt work if you dont do this.

Done transcription, its a little messy, so complain if you want me to touch it up. NOTE DAMAGE VALUES ARE IN VORPAL. Theres only one Chaos combo that you really need ever: 5A > 5B > 2C > 5CC > j.B > j.C > j.2C > 2C > 6C > 236A > 236B > 623A > 623B Thats the core Chaos combo. Everything else can derive from this in some way. P.S in terms of netplay. Its still -relatively- active. But much slower in comparison to how it was at launch. I can still consistently get matches, its just you have to pick an hour of the day where everyones on.
-
Plenty of reasons why Chaos is bad: -You lose health if Azhi dies -All Azhi strings are actually punishable without proper frame trap setup. -Difficulty anti-airing -Sloooowww moves -Weak mixup (lack of low and high attacks) and VERY reliant on frame traps to win. -Terrible matchups (All of top three, Hilda, Vatista, Carmine, etc) -Low damage from most standard confirms. -His roll is only invul on like the 11th frame onwards. Regardless though: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm24797257 New Chaos tech!@!@!@#!@# Ill transcribe this video like the last one. Just give me some time.
-
66B > 22A has a gap that a 5 frame normal can easily beat.
-
Mmmmm 2C > 5C then? Probably a bit harder though. I wanna try it out, but I have lab reports to work on ;-;
-
Uhhhhh ill give this a try too and see if theres any adjustments that you have to make. Maybe one 5C will work?

Also you don't necessarily have to start with J.2C. The only major condition is that characters must be CROUCHING. Edit: Ill probably post a google doc with these combos + other combos in this thread so everythings nice and compiled.

As long as it isnt YGO. **** that game. -
Uhhhhh im fairly certain that none of Azhi's moves would cross up there, but if Chaos lands on the other side then the opponent must block Chaos in the right direction. P.S: GGs on netplay. Sorry it was laggy and the connection dropped that one time. My internet sucks now :@ EDIT: If theyre still in block stun by the time you land, they would auto block either side anyway.
-
Oh uh I should probably mention the above assault j.2C combos works best on crouching characters. Most standing characters arent big enough to activate Azhi at the right time/scaling I believe. Also other Chaos tech: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OMWXR40itc&feature=youtu.be (Chaos and Azhi Dahaka's Post Mortem Offence) Basically if Azhi is hit while you're inputting another Azhi attack, theres a chance that he will get hit but will respawn and do the attack anyway. EDIT: Since im here, I might as well mention that smart steer is actually pretty important for Chaos. Since Smart Steer can repeat certain Azhi moves you can use 5AAAA (which is 5A > 5B > 5C > 236A auto combo) to recover certain parts of your string. You can use the frame advantage from 236A > reverse beat/22A/214[A] to go in and keep the string going with another 5AAAAA. ex blockstring: 2A > 2B > 5CC > 236A > 5BB > 5AAAA > 214[A] > Dash in 2B > 5BB > 5AAAA > 22A > more pressure (note that this string uses three 236As without having Azhi recover back to neutral) Most of the gaps in this string work as frame traps (and you can add more if you delay Chaos rekka normals ex 5B > delay > B). Also its important that you use 5BB before you use 5AAAA since it moves you in closer so you can get the full block string without whiffing normals. Theres still not much actual mixup in this since your opponent basically just has to hold downback all day to block everything (as with most Chaos pressure). You just have to make a call and hope you can sneak in an assault or throw somewhere.
-
woah woah woah, theres a UNIEL COMBO BOT? How long has this been out?
-
I need to use 5BB a little more too. its a good filler for block strings and has an auto-frame trap if you delay the rekka. Also puts Chaos closer to your opponent for more blockstring stuff. Personally I like 2C alot, but its only best used from its full range (which is really far). Edit: Oops I double posted.

Iunno. I hang out sometimes.
