I'm going to try and condense this post into common things more so than high level stuff atm. so bear with me if the player D's on wake up or as an AA to an air approach there is a pretty nice height in which you can just land and block (even if he teleports!) and pretty much blow bang up for it. for the ground you can pretty much 2A >2C because it hits behind you and it tags him for a CH. I can't remember off the top of my head if this works for J.D tho. another thing is that if bang throws out D nails you pretty much have to respect aside from moving around the nails by jumping or dash barrier to crouch block to slide under them and what not. REMEMBER when you opt to jump around the nail you limit what a bit as you what you can do since you are in the air. you still have J.A as a pretty good and safe way to hit him if he jumps at you. note it is kinda distance dependent if you can move around the nail. most of the time it's about. . half, 3/4, fullscreen. point blank you gonna have to just hold that. also check out whatever is + or - on block, gatling tables. whatever generally helps people deal with bang better on the wiki! Overall the characters moves around a lot but you DO have the normals to hit him.

  6. - You can option select both his DP's with 1A (holding down back while pressing 2A) and doing a meaty as fuck 5B (has to have some sort of space) but this only works for C DP. - You can also do a low J.C for air approaches if he does 2C you'll just fall and block - Neutral your ground game is better than his but his air-to-air pokes are pretty strong - His pressure mostly revolves around the opp. making wrong guesses or mashing a button somewhere whereas Ragna's overheads can be confirmed off of something meterlessly to the corner for damage. Neither character is at a real disadvantage honestly, because one of them does something better than the other or both are even at it. Ignore like 99% of what is written at the OP because that is all day one BS holy shit I should fix that.
  7. - 5D[2] in OD has minimal ground bounce, like. . realllly small. still knockdown status (if this makes any sense) though. That's what I saw was overlooked.

  13. Altar, Colosseum -Silent-, Rail Station are the go to (not so much Rail Station) for netplay stages. everything else is just a mess. don't let this happen again pleaassseeee

Right after you press 66 press 5B and make sure you go back to neutral so you don't get accidental 6Bs or anything else random. both the dash and 5B should come out, so you'll get the microdash 5B. As soon as you see the opponent bounce off the ground (or around a little later than that) is when you start to buffer 665B.
  15. To follow up to the other post, 1A > 4A whiff is also DP safe. works as a TRM setup too so yeah.
  16. If a person is DPing outside of wake up use DP safe blockstrings (plenty of those) you can safe jump his DP contrary to popular belief. In foosties his normals are much slower than yours take advantage. Also you can up back and punish a lot of his stuff.

  21. What? 6D is airborne on frame 7 or 10 in EX and CP. GH is airborne roughly 12 frames or so.
  22. That's your problem if you really don't know how to properly think about things. Sometimes I think all the time, sometimes I don't think. Reactionary defense is possible (in most situations at least). Again that's your problem if you can't offload your thinking. Work on it, I'm not going to go into a long winded post about this because there isn't any reason to. "I never really care about winning. Just trolling" Right right.

A TL;DR response to all of this: Think about what you can do Think about what your character can do (which basically is the first one but whatever) Think about what the opponent's character can do in all situations. Sometimes people go nuts, sometimes people are more controlled. Sometimes people have a really strong offense but extremely lack defense (this is really common holy shit) and vice versa. Most if not all of this boils down to your awareness and decision making which flies back up to my first sentence.
