Looking at it again, I must be mistaken; Hakumen has no red in his color scheme whatsoever. Disregard that, I suck, etc.
-
He's very memetic in Japan, last I remember. Other pretty easy parody colors... Kagari B - Eva Unit 02 Kagari D - Haku=Men Kagari C/R1+A/R1+C - I haven't watched it in a decade, but I'm almost positive one of these is a Bubblegum Crisis color.

Come on now, guys. Several of the 'Parody' colors have been identified, but not this one? http://wiki.mizuumi.net/w/File:KudlakSA.png

[P4A] Naoto Shirogane - Gameplay Discussion "Ace Detective"
OutlawVinegar replied to ludwig van's topic in Archives
So, Naoto players. Help me out here. What exactly is the weakness of Naoto's SB Shooting Stance/'Ex Roll'? I already have tons of problems in this matchup regardless of who I'm playing and how good/bad the Naoto is, but so far my attempts to beat this move only work by luck. At this point, if I have Naoto cornered and she has 25 meter, they can get out for free/reverse the momentum without a fight. Nevermind blocking the damn thing on netplay even when I do see it coming. :/ -
So, Mitsuru players. Does Mitsuru's throw animation have some strike invul on it, or something? I don't have a recording device, so I can't really upload it anywhere, but I have a Netplay Playback in which while vsing a Mitsuru, twice in a row I tried an AoA at the same time that the Mitsuru attempted a throw, and we whiffed right through one another. Should I chalk it up to Netplay shenanigans?

Merry Christmas to people, and ggs to people I played. At this point I've actually gotten to play with 3-4 of the Top PSR players, and I'm starting to feel guilty that I can't at least provide a challenge. All the same, good games to Zephyr44, FE4-PLAYER, and others.
-
ggs to Ranked. I'm not actually being sarcastic or anything. I can finally glide pretty consistently as Yosuke! It's too bad that after practicing it for an hour or so, I hop online and realize I have stupid fingers for the day when it comes to finishing combos.
-
Yeah, I tried anyway, but even a quick look at the Command List told me the move requires her Persona. Oh well. Plz buff Shabrys IK, ArcSys
-
So, at this point we know that Shabrys can combo into her IK using a Burst and the requisite 100 meter... but is it possible to grab someone during the untech time of Massive Slaughter/Shark Command grab? I'm going to mess around and test it later on tonight.

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
OutlawVinegar replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
To be fair, from what I've seen, Dustloop does this every single time when theoryfighting about a character when a game first comes out. I'd like to think that that's why Week 1 discussion of character tiers is slightly looked down upon. -
Just randomly throwing this out there, in regards to my 'what one buff would you give Liz if you could only choose one' question. I think Elizabeth would actually benefit significantly if she were allowed to One More Cancel for 25 SP instead of 50. That is all.

So, this is Liz General, so I can get away with speculative questions, right? Liz players, I'm seeing a lot of complaints about how bad she is, getting worse over time, low-tier, etc. So I pose to you a question, maybe the answers will help me to see where all the negativity is coming from. If Elizabeth were to recieve one, and only one, change in an update, patch, etc, what do you think would be the best competitive tweak they could give her? It can be anything, within reason, as long as it makes her more viable but not overkill. A buff on the properties of one of her normals, a change to her health, meter gain, reworking her Guard Cancel, or a totally new tool are all examples. Would you say she needs an additional option for her mixup, like an overhead for Thanatos? An actual move on defense besides hail-mary Shuffle Time? Or maybe a new move that gives her a better fighting chance against Mitsuru's Droit? I'm curious to see the responses.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdF3lfgyP50&feature=plcp#t=13m57s Perhaps this one needs no mention since it's surprisingly basic, or it might be in here somewhere already. If so, I apologize, but I didn't see it listed. Near Corner 150 Meter CH jA>5A>2B>jA>jA>236A>j236236[C]>land>5B>5C>2B>jA>jA>236A>j236236[D]>]D[>236236D (4220? The video is blurry)

ggs to Gravelneed (don't know your account here, if you have one). A shame you had to leave so soon, but the 2-3 games we got were good. Hope to see you on again.

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
OutlawVinegar replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
Also, on an aside, how exactly does GRD gauge growth work? I initially thought it was something like CT's Guard Libra (luckily it's not), but now that I've watched that set, I find it even more confusing. Using the 'Hilda vs 2 Hydes' video again, at about 6:20, the Hyde player starts pressuring Hilda in the corner, and although she's just blocking, by the end of his extended blockstring, she's literally taken the ENTIRE GRD bar for herself. I guess GRD growth isn't tied to being aggressive like, say, Emotion High in AquaPazza? -
Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
OutlawVinegar replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
Just arguing semantics here, but from what I've been watching of damage/character health, it appears that everyone has roughly/exactly the same health total of 12-13k. I haven't been watching each and every video, but from what I've seen, it looks like characters have different defense values instead. tl;dr - I think Hilda takes more damage, but has the same 'health number' as everyone else. Edit - Watching Abelcru's 'Hilda vs 2 Hydes' video seems to support the theory a bit; in the second match, second round (timestamp is 4:35-5:35), Hilda takes damage as follows: 1689 2310 120 2953 132 4383 Adding up to 11587, and leaving her with a little over a sliver of health. -

I feel like Liz's AOA is sorely underestimated by Liz players. I know that like just about every other All-Out, it's very punishable on block, but it seems to me like Liz's All-Out has the best horizontal range in the game (if not, it's second only to Teddie), as well as having (imo) a somewhat subtle startup animation and a respectable amount of auto-guard. Given that she's a character who has fewer meter concerns than most, it feels like her AOA is a pretty well-thought out tool; if it were better, it might be too exploitable. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was referring to 5D's P2. That would mean if it was comboed into, right? And for that matter, doesn't the P2 get affected by Fear in some way, which 5D always inflicts?
