j.2C cancels itself on hit and can be comboed without rapid!? *faints* That's one dream come true. glad 2D's are special cancelable, that's a lot of combo experimentation and a nice bit of variation to her drive. -

It's looking better than it initially was, and a mid-tier Makoto is something I've always wanted back. Having a strike-style parry is going to take some getting used to though. Especially with half-circle input. -

Looks like nerfs overall again... Idk about you guys, but I think most of these changes are completely stupid, just like last time. And the time before that. And the time before that... I just wish Makoto could be changed like most other characters. You know, at least keep the basic idea of how she plays, instead of turning her playstyle into a mish-mash of pure unrefined frustration. also, I think these changes just might stick around. I've yet to see undesirable initial changes drop from a loketest. -

I used Extend's training mode like that since you can put both player's hp to 1 and activate a second controller for the other player. Plus, convenient resets! It's a damn shame there's no online training mode option. -

Aside from no positive changes, I still can't stick or switch to another character... I dunno whether I should be happy or sad Training with her was a great way to top off my b-day though, kind of relaxing really. -

I think it has to be frame perfect in order to string correctly. Makoto's artificially harder to use as hell after the anti-Makoto patch. -

Feels tighter, not exactly faster for me. Speaking of tighter, am I the only one who thinks reducing stun time on j.b sort of kills the purpose of making it directly chainable to j.D? I really don't know wtf they're aiming for with Makoto, but they better stop f**king up my one and only squirrel girl. And Tsubaki players thought they had it bad? Pfft. I mean I am trying to enjoy this game, but it's kind of difficult when my main is eating soooooo much shit. Kokonoe or Azrael are looking tempting right now as much as I hate to admit it... Ugh. -

First taunt combo was awesome, and then Acorn Oki? That seems sorta funny, but cool. Now I really wish there was a way to make the acorn come out at will instead of a 10% chance. -

With all due respect Arcsys- f**k you. But seriously, I tried Makoto after the patch, and holy crap. She makes Roll look like an effective character. If only she got the same treatment as the people who were just as weak as her. -

You'll eventually get used to it, I had trouble doing these kinds of inputs too at first, especially moving into Blaz directly after Marvel. And I just now noticed the title got changed yet again... -

It'd be especially funny since the only thing sticking slightly out on the first part of the slide is her tail; having that glorious *bloop* sound of the tail followed by the kick would make the move one of the funnest in the game. Lord that change would make my day. Keeping it related to the topic, the thing I miss most from 3C is how easy it was to bait bursts. Sure I can use CU, but the timing has to be pretty much at the same time the burst hits you. Not real easy to do unless you have real squirrel reflexes. Oh, and reward. CU doesn't offer much to followup with either without using resources. -

It was sort of a gimmick move anyway (still is), I just wish I wasn't limited exclusively to Makoto's 2B. Having another low with more reach would be really nice, like if 3C had something I've always wanted; either made into a true slide attack (hitbox throughout ala Bang), or hitting twice. Oh well, 2B has pretty much always been the go-to; not often do I see a random 2C, unless done on an accident. Hilarious if it connects though. -

Maybe it falls under the limited category, but it's certainly more limited than some of her other moves for sure. But those other changes you mentioned sound sweet yet sensible. @Star, that's what they meant by PF being fixed? I didn't even know that was a bug, lol How much damage did she lose before it was fixed up? -

Yeah, Lander Blow sucks ass, it's barely even a new move at all. 3C also sucks as mentioned, I consider it a wasted move as well. Silly no longer describes the current changes, a proper word would be more along the lines of "unfair". I can't imagine what BB4 Makoto will be like (if she's even considered for the game) if this keeps up.
