  1. OMG. I looked at all the artwork. Love it. Love it ALL. Nice job everyone!
  2. Let's see... Mirror Match. The fairest way to fight in any game. This would all come down to the skills between the players, wouldn't it? Lol I don't even know how to start, two of the same characters complete with the same moves, damage, health, and tricks. ...Ah screw it, the match is in Makoto's favor. End of story.
  3. Ragna easily gives me the most trouble when I have Makoto. He does more damage, has more reach, gains meter like crazy, and can combo until you're dead. They really beefed this guy up, but he does have patterns. Sadly, there is not a good way to approach him because of the reach his sword gives him, and since he does so much damage, there's not a lot of room to screw up.
  4. I completely agree with you. I also love her personality, and the way she fights is very cool. She may take skill to use, but that's just another reason I like her. And I'm even MORE in love when I finally learned her Space Counter. OH YEAH.
  5. Evil Makoto. And greetings Dustloop!
  6. Hello everyone! I'm new to Dustloop, and wanted to join, mainly to express my thoughts on Makoto a little. I'm currently maining (yes, maining) her in Continuum Shift: Extend. She has certainly changed quite a bit from Continuum Shift II, but this time around, I'm enjoying her more and more. I don't have to rely on walls and loops to win with her. I do believe she was nerfed more than what was necessary, but I can still use her very effectively, just because I'm very dedicated to learning her. I've beaten many players on the Network (70% of them Ragna players... pfffft...) and had success against most of them. To me, Makoto is probably the most underrated character in the game, she has personality, looks good, and can actually kick a ton of ass. My main gripe? She easily takes more skill to use than all the other fighters, and her combos require very precise timing to pull off, but it is oh-so rewarding when you knock-out someone online with her. I'm still keeping her as my main. I don't think she sucks at all, she just requires a bit more thinking in Extend. Hopefully in the next installment of Blazblue, she will get the credit she truthfully deserves as a character, and as a fighter. I love her personality, and she is just fun to look at, and her fight style is quite awesome. (Especially the tail. Don't forget the tail.) (And she is the first woman fighter I've ever mained in my 16 years of playing fighting games.) Makoto, you freakin' ROCK!!! (And by the way, I don't know if it is my controller or not, but how do you pull off her Space Counter? I'm finding this move near-impossible to pull off... I block the attack, press the corresponding buttons, but no avail... Don't know what I'm doing wrong...)
