Maybe we'll get Lambda as Nu's unlimited form. ^^ But seriously, they might just include a Lambda palette, although for some reason I feel that if they did it would be DLC, but we'll see what happens in do time. :I

Well, let's see if I can help you out a little hm. Okay, first when it comes to Lambda's drive it's not something you just throw out, you have to be aware of what your opponent can do at what range and at what height . What I mean is that let's say if you and an opponent are both on the ground and you're both at full screen you should ask yourself these three questions... First, what can my opponent do at this range and what can I do to counter it? Second, what can I do to my opponent at this range and what can he/she do to counter it? And lastly, should I stay back and wait for them to make a move or take the fight to them on my terms? Here's an example of what I'm talking about... Let's say you're fighting a Ragna at long-Screen and both you and your opponent have 50 meter, now what are Ragna's options at this range? Carnage Scissors [which is projectile invulnerable which means it becomes very dangerous to use our Drive] or air dashing. Now what can you do against these two options? Carnage Scissors, you can bate it and block the first attack and hit or grab him into a combo before the second hit comes out or you could [and this is the riskier option] use Gravity Seed on him [so if he uses Carnage Scissors he won't go as far] and then use Sickle Storm/Legacy Edge to keep him in place so you can either get up close and mix him up. Air dashing, you can never go wrong with using 6D/2D when the opponent is in the air, but be sure that you know which one to use depending on the angle he's coming at you from, he super jumps then air dashes you should use 2D and if he just regular jumps and air-dashes you should use 6D. So yeah, it's all about knowing your opponent and also knowing yourself. Oh and two more things... Try not to panic so much if the Opponent does close the distance between you and him/her, it will only lead to your defeat, and listen to everyone else on here over me. I hope this helps you some. GOOD LUCK! :D Edit: Oh, and the examples I gave were only a few of the things you could in that situation so just try experimenting to see what other things you can do.

Wait, didn't they also say that OD gives access to new Distortion drives as well? Or am I mistaken? -

Ah! thanks for correcting me. :D Though it is a shame that we won't be hearing all the themes until... late November/early December. :l -

We likely won't get to hear the new character themes and remixes until the arcade release like you said, although you can find Bullets theme on Youtude. [i'd link it on here, but I'm not sure if I can] Hope this helps. :D -
How long did it take -you- to get proficient with your main?
ElegantShadow replied to DemiiPoet's topic in Archive
Well if I can remember it took me about 3 to 6 months to become proficient with my main [Lambda] I'm actually not sure if that's considered a long time or not, although Blazblue was my first 2D fighting game, so it may not be that long. :D -
I was kind of expecting an armor-less Nu [like everyone else], except she would fight like a mix of Fiona and Weiss from Arcana heart... But oh well, the important thing is that we got our Robotic yandere back. :D

Um... this is a little of topic I know and it may be a little early to ask this, but is there any info on whether Unlimited modes will be in CP? -

Hmm... I just looked at the pics of Nu and Mu... I'm really liking the way Mu's steins look now [and they do look likr Dizzy's fish] As for Nu I'm excited as always but... there's one part I couldn't understand... "Drive 'Sword Summoner' New is their ability to inject the sword ranged attacks from the air. You will be able to ward off an opponent if dismissed without mastering the missile of them! ?" What in the world does that mean? Is it just telling us stuff about her drive that we already knew or is this something completely new to her drive? -

[CSE] Lambda Simple Questions And Answers Thread
ElegantShadow replied to HexaNoid's topic in v -13-
While we're on the subject of Lambda's neutral game, I have a few questions... First, is it always better to save Gravity Seed for combos rather than using it as a means to slow the opponents approach? Because in all honesty I can't really find a situation where it would be viable compared to... well back-dashing or even just blocking. Secondly I know the Crescent Saber mix up, but I can't seem to get it to work because whenever I do attempt it I'm either punished for it or worse I wiff it, so my question is HOW can I do it safely? And lastly, I know Lambda has many anti-airs, but what's the most viable one? I know that they all have their uses, but could someone please give me a few examples of which to use in what situation? Also... is it a good idea to use the second hit of 4B as a [i don't know if this is the correct term] ghetto anti-air? -

From what I can gather from the loketest vids it seems like Azrael is a character who has to wait for the opponent to make a mistake and then crush them with his high dmg [He goes a have Damage right?] I think someone else already said this, but Amane looks like he can only fight at a very long range or a very short range. And I'll have to agree with WillWork about Bullet seeming... underwhelming compared to the other two new characters, although I think the reason behind her being so underwhelming is because she might be the new "Easy" character to use since Ragna seems to have become more complicated than he was in the previous installments. -
Nice combos! :DD But um... are they viable in an actual battle?

Well, I'm happy that our favorite sword spamming robot girl is back and better than ever, but now I have so many questions now.... Like if she is a mode changing character now will that somehow take away from her Zoning in someway? And how will the mode change work? Will it be like when Aigis changes modes or something completely different? Also my biggest worry is the fact that since primers aren't in CP how will Spike chaser be of any use now? I hope we get another loketest soon so we can see both Nu and Mu in action...

Um.... not to sound mean or anything, but... THAT IS A BAD PREDICTION AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD! But in all seriousness that idea is bad because... First off why would Nu be unlimited without her drive having two swords shooting out instead of one? I mean that's one of the main points of her unlimited mode and to make that dependent on her OD is just... pointless really, It would just be better for that to be regular Nu's overdrive rather then her unlimited mode... although having unlimited Nu's OD be that she can shoot out 3 swords... :D And secondly with Mu all I have to say is... please tell me you were joking about that... Oh, and as a side note, Lambda and Nu's colors being combined wouldn't look that bad actually, but then why would she have some of lambda's colors in the first place? -
Um.... well technically they are but... Okay here's a good way to put it... Since when you clone someone you're using the DNA of the person to which said cloning is being done on that would me that you're basically making a test tube baby [i think], so in theory they are related to one another and Ragna and Jin. I could be wrong about this though, [i must likely am] but I hope this helps. :D

If the worst happens and Nu/Lambda and Mu's play styles aren't available then I'll most likely just switch to Rachel or Carl [They both look even more interesting to play this time around, although they're both my alts so I won't have much trouble learning them :D].
-
Huh, I would have thought most lambda players would have chosen either Yukiko or Naoto. Although I can see how Chie and Aigis would also be attractive to a veteran lambda. As for me I went with Naoto as my main [since I've always liked a mixture of trapping and zoning].

Well when I first started playing Blazblue I think I had tried just about every character, but sadly I couldn't seem to find anyone that I liked or could use at the time, In fact at a certain point I almost gave up on finding a main [it was so difficult because Blazblue was the first real fighting game I had ever played, and I wasn't sure what I liked] But then it happened... On one fateful day I turned my head a little to the left and I saw a beautiful maiden cloaked in both sword and metal alike, and I thought to myself, "Wow she looks cool," so I went for it and tried her out, and I knew deep inside that she was the one for me [Nay, not just her, but zoning itself], and ever since that day Madam Lambda-11/Nu-13 has, will, and always shall be my main [Hopefully T_T].

Ow! You've just stabbed a rusted dagger into my already open and wounded heart and you're twisting it. T_T But on a serious note, Rachel isn't a zoner, but at the same time she is. The best thing to call her is a trapper/rush-down character [though, I could be wrong]. -

Wait, I always thought that Tager got better with each installment. I mean now in EX he seems like he can put up a good fight with just about the whole cast [i never understood why he's "D tier"].
