I've been wondering. When are there going to be a Threads made for Yukari and Junpei? Is it a bit too early for them to be made or has no one offered to make them as of yet?
-
My thoughts exactly. Besides, is the Trap Recover even THAT much? How much has it increased by?
-
Well, being able to reduce the Fate Counter more than once per combo sounds like a welcomed boon to me. And honestly, I wouldn't mind if Naoto's gameplay was more centered around using her zoning to reduce the counter and end battles with her Instant Kills. Also, traps not being viable for Oki doesn't really hurt Naoto that much In my opinion. They've never seemed that strong an option when compared to other characters Oki options. We (Or just I) can depend on 2B for Okizeme.

Exactly. Yukari's going to be a blast to play as. ^O^

She actually seems to take a bit after both Lambda/Nu and Mu. If I were to make a wild assessment, I'd say her normals work a bit more like Lambda/'Nu's Drive and her specials are more akin to some of Mu's Specials. Now, all I want to know is if she has a strong Okizeme game.

*Sigh,* I suppose you're right. It's not like we'll be getting P4C anytime soon, so we all may as well learn what we can now and worry about what's to come later.

What peaks my interests is this so called Command Grab(?) we have in mid-air. Combined with our Orgia dash, it should prove quite useful. Speaking of which, is it a Special or a Super?
-
... Did Yukari just use Naoto's Anti-S SP Pistol ß? I have to say that, though she does look fun to use and I do plan to main her, I was expecting something a bit more... Mu-esque. Also, she looks like she may have a neutral game that rivals Yukiko's, judging by how her Specials seem to work.

I don't very much mind Naoto becoming a Jack-of-all-Trades type of character as long as she can still zone and space effectively. And Venom Swords sounds like an excellent attack for Naoto (I only hope that the overall damage inflicted by it is better than that of a certain Ninja's poison nails.). (And honestly, I won't miss the SMP Loop at all, since I've never been able to do it. )

From what I can only guess, Shadow Naoto seems as if she'll be a bit more offensive, and likely will have higher damage output than her regular counterpart (Though, that's likely the case for most/all Shadow forms.).

Have any videos of Yukari been uploaded as of yet? I'm inching to see how my new main will play. Yu: "..." Yosuke: "Aaahh!" Teddie: "Yay!"
-
Well, I know who my new main is. Thank you for the translations!

... I do hope that they give Aigis something to compensate for this outrage! Nay! This unforgivable sin! Ahem... that aside, this looks to be quite interesting. I wonder what else they may have added and/or taken away?

[CSE] Lambda Simple Questions And Answers Thread

To my knowledge, Lambda's combos very rarely (If ever) require you to high jump. Even if the opponent is very high in the air and you hit them with 2DD, J-DD will usually catch him/her with just a regular jump. You're not the only one who tends to have this problem, but just remember that if you feel that you can't finish a combo correctly, or that the opponent will tech before you can finish said combo, there's nothing wrong with ending a combo early if it means that you'll still be in a good position afterwards. -

Welcome to the Lambda Forums, new comer! :D I haven't played EX in quite a while (Well, aside from fooling around in Training Mode, that is), but I should be able to help with your problem a bit. So, you're wondering how to do 6C into 236D? In my experience, it's not how high the opponent is (Considering that if you're in the corner, and using one of Lambda's more basic combos, the opponent shouldn't be too high in the air to begin with) it's where in the combo you use 6C and Sickle Storm. I would give an example, but sadly, I can't remember any combos at the moment. However, the way I learned this was by practicing on Tager and Ragna. I would really just use basic corner combos and see how many of them could also go into 6C>Sickle Storm, and of course, I watched combo videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=AbmoQuY6pHk Here's a combo video I found with a few combos that have 6C>Sickle Storm in it. Good luck! -

Also, I noticed a few other Nu videos that have yet to be posted, that was some time ago though, so I'm not exactly sure which ones they were.

I'd imagine that Lotus combined with her OD would make for some very interesting/powerful combos.

[CP] News & Gameplay Discussion (Old)

Chipp VS. Taokaka would make more sense, would it not? I mean, they are both the speedsters of their games. I-No VS Izayoi seems a bit more fitting in that case. -
Hmm... that was quite an impressive combo video. Most of the combos seemed optimal, if not a bit situational (Save for the ones that involved using TWO Calamity Swords one after the other. ). Though, I must ask, how do you come up with such genius? I wouldn't, in a million years, have even thought that most of those combos would work.

Well, that seems as a guess as any. Though, if that really is Terumi from the past... that means there are two Hazamas running around. That's the first time I've heard of that. If I had to make an educated guess, it's likely due to Relius's new attack (The one where he makes that gear thing come out of the ground.). -
The problem with going head-on against Jin is that with his various DPs/Counters, and his overall options at close range make it difficult to get in on him. However, if he's throwing out 236A/B, I would IAD over the Ice Sword and use J.2D>Crescent Saber. The reason why is because if you can react to his sword quickly enough, you'll hit him with J.2D before he can recover. Another reason is that after Crescent Saber, you can use Spike Chaser/Sickle Storm (Depending on the situation) to keep him right where you want him. Also, keep in mind that against Jin, we still have an advantage at long-range, so don't be afraid to "Flex your zoning muscles" against him. In my experience, I find that the best time to be aggressive in this match up is either when you have Jin in Sickle Storm Okizeme, or when you have him in the corner. I haven't played against a good Jin in quite some time, so some of the above information might not be completely correct.

In all honesty, that voice matches Amane's personality perfectly. -

What are the chances of ASW taking a page out of GameFreak's book and releasing the US version of CP alongside the Japanese one? (If that's even possible, I mean.) -
