From what I can tell it just makes it come out later. Faust just holds it in his hand longer. It sucks because I so it a lot on accident. Edit: actually if u hold it the item always lands right in front of Faust -

LOL so much whining in this thread! I'm the person who has played this game the most out of anyone on this forum and even though I have yet to go to the latest loketest, I can assure you that the game is not nearly as slow as people think it is from watching those shitty videos. The pacing and feel of the game is GUILTY GEAR! It is just like King of Heart, and I have said in the past, that the game has just a little more hitstop which makes it seem slightly slower but moving around and everything feels natural and familiar. Just stop worrying so damn much and trust me. If the game is slightly slower, it is still faster than BB, which is fine IMO. I can see how people dont like the animation poses for RCs, and it takes a while to get used to. I still mess stuff up because of it but it is just something you have to get used to. I am sure once we all do it will be just fine. BS concerns are also somewhat valid but I honestly think it is too early to say. I didn't witness any crazy ridiculous stuff with it so I wouldnt get too worried yet I agree that Danger Time is kinda unnecessary but it is very rare. -

BSing any physical attack results in the same recoil animation state that makes the opponent vulnerable. If done against an air move they just float a little as opposed to a ground move where they stand there. Yes it pushes back slightly meaning most of the time you may not get optimal damage combos unless you BS right up close. Also Bedman Déjàvu moves are projectiles so yes you can BS them but Bedman isn't affected. Just absorbs the projectile. -

To answer a few... You can't YRC ANY moves on hit/block. Not even projectiles. Can't BS while blocking If you land a BS from too far it may be hard to land a good combo. If from full screen you probably won't be able to hit with anything but it could help you get in closer Absorbing projectiles in general doesn't seem great unless up close to punish recovery Keep in mind that you can't BS supers Its hard to say exactly how long active and recovery for BS. Ill be at the loketest over the weekend. Ill try it out more. Anyone notice any Faust changes? -

Well, that certainly is some shitty timing... New loketest starts on a Monday? Gotta go to work. It lasts a week and I can go during the weekend (and maybe will) but by then I am sure that any new information will already be well known on the internets. Either way, glad to see one last loketest in there. Hopefully we see some really new stuff like playable Valentine or something. Sorta curious about holding nani ga deru ka na with faust. I wonder if holding it longer results in more than one item being thrown. I cant really see a very good use for it if all it does is delay when he throws it but I guess we will see -

If you RC a projectile as it hits it will be red unless I-no has some kinda special property. On whiff or before they connect, all projectiles seem to be 25% meter -

What I mean is, all initial attacks that hit are mortal counter. It still works like counter hit does. You cant get a counter hit mid combo so you cant get a mortal counter mid combo either, at least from what I remember. Once you are put in counter hit state in mid combo, the property lasts throughout the combo just like always. What I mean is, that danger time doesnt end after one mortal counter is connected. I can do a combo and once that combo is over, the next person to hit with another combo will start with a mortal counter. This lasts until the danger time clock runs out. Honestly, I dont really like danger time either but it is a pretty rare thing. I only saw it like 2 times from 3 days of playing for hours and hours. -
Thanks everyone for coming and helping to make the event successful. I got sick really bad about half way through the last day of FFVI. Had a pretty bad fever that didn't go away until like 2 days after I got back to Japan. I'm OK now though... aside from kicking myself for losing, but I guess you can't win 'em all. Thanks a ton to everyone who helped with commentary, brackets, hype, etc. I hope you guys are all ready for Xrd at FFVII. Actually, we might just run a +R tournament as well for fun, but Xrd will be the main event.
