  1. Yes, that same song plays few times during the Story Mode. Though it feels kind of stupid to listen it loop about every 40 seconds while the Imperator is in the middle of a grand speech...
  2. Now that we are on the subject... there are also challenges where you have to use a certain move certain amount of times in a combo. Everyone's 30th challenges: Ragna: Steal 5000 health with Drive attacks Jin: Use all Drive attacks in a combo Noel: 100 hit combo Rachel: Use "Tiny Lobelia" 9 times in a combo Taokaka: 200 hit combo Litchi: Use "Four Winds" 3 times in a combo Tager: Use "Spark Bolt" 3 times in a combo Arakune: 200 hits Bang: Deal 6500 damage in a combo Carl: Use "Cantabile" 5 times in a combo Hakumen: Defeat Azrael (Deal 12 000 damage) Nu: Deal 9000 damage in a combo Hazama: Keep enemy airborne for 10 seconds Tsubaki: Use 12 blocks of the Install gauge in a combo Mu: Defeat Azrael (Deal 12 000 damage) Makoto: Use "Spacial Counter" to start a combo and deal 8000 damage Valkenhayn: Deal 8000 damage in a combo Platinum: Deal 7500 damage in a combo Relius: Use "Geara Lugia" 8 times in a combo Amane: 180 hits Bullet: Deal 10 000 damage in a combo Azrael: Use all his Drive moves in a combo Izayoi: Use all her special attacks in combo Kagura: Deal 7000 damage in a combo Terumi: Deal 7000 damage in a combo Kokonoe: Deal 7000 damage in a combo ---- Also... some stuff. Personally tested and trophies gained. Ragna's trophy: Hit opponent who has Danger with a combo of j.A>5A>5A Carl's trophy: Cantabile (623C) > 8D > 2C > Fermata (214214D) Hakumen's trophy: OD 6C (max charge) > 5C > Zantetsu (41236C) > Cancel to Crush Trigger after the first hit > 5C > Shippuu (632146C) > Renka (214B) Arakune's trophy: Just go Overdrive and use 2 powered-up version of "f-inverse" in corner of screen Nu's trophy: 5DD>4DD>Sickle Storm (236D) >RC>6DD>2DD>j.DD>j.2DD Tsubaki's trophy: 214214D>46D>236D>623D>j.236D>j.214>214D>22D>236236D Also, the explanation for arcade mode trophy is mistaken. Arcade mode has now only 8 stages. It's also suggested to play arcade as Kagura/Terumi to grab two trophies at once.
  3. Kokonoe DLC trophies have been revealed! Daughter of the "Strongest" and the "Supreme" [Arcade] Clear the Arcade Mode with Kokonoe Science is the very power! [Challenge] Clear 20 of Kokonoe's challenges "Final Fusion" Authorized! Using Kokonoe, make 10 000 damage with Golder Tager ------ Oh, and you don't need to use Amane's Astral Heat to Kagura or Terumi to get the "Become mine!" trophy
  4. Because it might be DLC music you get from buying the anime Blu-rays...? It's just like you can't even pick "Blue sanction" for versus (not that I would even if I could...)
  5. There really isn't anything special. All the typical illustations, arcade endings, anime cutscenes, unlimited characters, additional colors and voice messages from seiyuu... Really, the only "new thing" is the Gallery are "arcade victory quotes" from loketest version of game.
  6. Umm... no. Platinum has two sets of voices in BBCP. You probably heard the Sena's voice set... From what I, myself, played using Platinum, Luna's voice set sounded just fine and similar to CS. But yeah, Kagura's english voice was a positive surprice to me.
  7. From what I have played, there wasn't even a place for System Voices in the Gallery, so unfortunately there won't be any System Voices you could buy using P$... So they'll be other kind of unlockables or then DLC-only...
  8. For some reason you can't pick Bang's new Furinkazan theme in the other modes, but a full version of the theme is pickable in the Tutorial Mode. The official name of the song is Bang!Bang!Bigbang!
  9. Yeah, "Earn the First Rank" would be correct. Since you climb from 10th class to 1st class and then the next "level up" is to the First Rank where you can go all the way to 20th Rank. 女子力 isn't exactly girl-power... more like Girl-ness? If you just drop ディ from クラッシュ・バンディクー away, you pretty much see this is a Crash Bandicoot reference so "Crash☆Bangcoot" would be better name. Well... Surely, it's a reference to Mukoubuchi but the trophy's name is "Goburei". かるる= Karuru = Carl. Or was there a reference I didn't get? They even used this Monster Hunter reference... Anyways, with reference it should be shaped like "Her strength is Galactic-class" Well, you can translate it that way, but it misses the point... Though how many people is Dustloop even know about Yatteyaru-death? Well played, changing reference to another more familiar with Western people...
  10. lol that "Use Relius' Astral Heat to all the girls" trophy
  11. http://commu.jp.playstation.com/blog/details/20131018_blazblue_cp.html No one has yet to mention this? Sony JP has posted some BBCP videos on their blog - one match features Terumi VS Kagura. Battle has music set on "Auto" and Endless Despair II plays... Pretty much re-confirms that it's Terumi's theme music. There also a lot of text and screenshots about different modes, but pretty much nothing we don't know yet.
  12. I was checking out Alter Memory's Blu-rays on CDJapan and noticed that they have listed the names of episodes which are included in each blu-ray volume. Complete episode listing looks like this:
  13. The name of Chaos' lizard is "Azhi Dahaka"
  14. Nope. it says "renda combo" which was localized as Auto Combo. It just says that there are new Auto Combos... Nothing special. But that "S Hold System" has that specific gauge (as seen in one of the screens). Depending how long you charge it by holding the specific button down, you can make "various attacks". Text doesn't specify whether that means moves change depending the amount of charge, or just that each character has a different move... So the "S Hold moves" are basicly just new charge moves with special gauge.
  15. Player name says Hirokawa. His Eltnum is 11th best of the Eltnums in RIP rankings. Video description in Nico says he goes by the name "Anan dairi". Anyone know whether he is known Melty Blood player?
  16. Yeah, game was updated and Akatsuki now appears as a CPU opponent in the arcade mode. He appears during 8th stage just as Eltnum did before. He seems to have special intro picture. Maybe we can have videos soon...?
  17. There really isn't any list of changes. People on BBS say that Carmine can still make 4000~5000 corner damage, but he has become a lot more difficult to play on the middle screen. Nope. Apparently no one has seen Akatsuki appearing even as CPU opponent. ---- But anyways, I got Chaos' story subbed.
  18. Now got to read through Kurushii's scans and no one seems to yet have mentioned that the part talking about Kokonoe's stage says: 第六階層都市ヤビコのとある一角にある地下工場だ "It's an underground factory in a certain section of 6th Hierarchical City of Yabiko" Not that it really tells much... was Sector Seven always located in Yabiko or is this Kokonoe's "personal lab" or what?
  19. It says she uses "kickboard" for her dash... which sounds awesome!
  20. Article on 4Gamer says that: "First, Akatsuki will appear as CPU-only character. After the game has been operating for a while, it is made so that he'll interrupt your single playing. Of course, he'll also planned to appear as playable but..." Meaning it's pretty much the same as how Eltnum worked when she appeared in UNI. Someday we get a lot of Twitter posts from Japan and video in NicoNico how that one day a character has appeared into the game. But yeah, pretty much means it takes at least a month before see Akatsuki in action...
  21. It's worth noticing that all those screenshots on 4Gamer have version 2.01 listed at the bottom... Anyways, some bits of info... - Concept of the Exe:Late was to "increase the things you can do". Meaning more yomi and dodging into gameplay. - Previously Under Night In-Birth was really harsh game for beginners. There was no "fluke" in the game. - New "Recovery Correction Value" parameter has been included into game. Parameter changed the length of non-recoverable time depending whether you started the combo with weak or heavy attack. - They wanted to keep the ground-fighting as main things, so the game would not end up as "combo game" - They wanted to differ from Melty Blood which made them to rise the risks of aerial attacks. - That's why they have made changes that some attacks are invincible only against aerials. - They wanted to make more Street Fighter-like "Stab game" which is pretty much the opposite of combo games. (What is a good Western term... "punishing game"?) - In the end they ended up with something very close to King of Fighters. - Dash attacks are the best moves in Exe:Late - There wasn't really a classic protagonist-like character, so Akatsuki was a perfect guy for them. - Of course he can use Reflector. - Some of his combos from the original game are usable. - Subtle Style, themselves drew all the HD sprites for Akatsuki perfectly without any instructions from Narita. It saved apparently a lot of time from the production of game... - From the very beginning they had decided to go with simple effects with In-Birth. Narita says it kind a reminds how the covers of light novels are nowadays... Like just a one girl on the backcover ... - Narita also mentions that P4A was also like that. It's cool and not-too-flashy, so it's very easy for eyes. He thinks all the graphic designers of fighting game industry felt defeated after seeing P4A - "Playstation 3 version...? W-What might you be talking about...", Narita first says. Later he mentions that they'll talk about the console port "later" - They really are impressed that the crowdsfunding for Skullgirls update went that well... - To celebrate the release of arcade version they would want to have a guest character from Skullgirls. They would like to draw the sprites by themselves to show "What moé truly is!" - Narita says that kickstarter wouldn't really help with their game. - Their "chuu-ni-byou styled game" wouldn't get that many people interested and their main audience is Japanese arcade players - Japanese people get easily interested in completed work, but are very cold towards unfinished concepts and "work-in-process" - Nowadays fighting game developers should prioritize consoles before arcades... but French Bread still wants to keep up with the old fashioned way of prioritizing arcades first. -Narita went to Type-Moon a day before this interview to ask what's their official opinion about Melty Blood HD. Their comment was "We are positively considering it", but Narita says we need to wait for the Tsukihime's remake first... -Very soon many projects they've had to remain silent will finally be revealed. Wait for more info. - They say it's frustrating that is kind a seems like Arc System Works is the only company creating fighting games.
  22. "In-Birth Front" was updated and now you can view Akatsuki's moveset there. It's pretty much the same stuff... Specials: Denkoudan「電光弾」236 A/B/C (Aerial Possible) Tekkoukyaku「徹甲脚」214 A/B/C (Aerial Possible) Ningen Hakubou「人間迫砲」22 A/B/C Infinite Worth: Kamikaze「神風」41236 D Infinite Worth EXS: Oukakai「桜花改」A+B+C+D
  23. Official page updated again... Exe:Late is out! (Day just changed in Japan...) Command lists have been updated... and yeah, Infinite Worth EXS are now done with 200 meter or during Veil Off when your own health (previously it was the opponents...) is under 30%. Also the universal command has changed from A+B+C to A+B+C+D. Character page have some changes so let's try to find them... Also, as mentioned before. "In-Birth Front" is now down and 5 hours later it should be back up with Exe:Late related updates.
  24. Now that came out of nowhere... Anyways, info of him... Height: 5 shaku 8 sun (about 176 meters) Weight: 18 kan (67,5 kg) Birthday: Unknown Bloodtype: Unknown Ability: EXS of Thunderclap (Jinrai no EXS) - Denkou Kikan (Lightning Engine) [blitz Motor] Weapon: Senjutsu Denkou Fuku (Tactical Lighning Cloth) Voice actor: Shinobu Matsumoto
  25. Yeah, it was "Horus" the player who holds the 2nd place in RIP rankings. Yesterday he even fought a few matches with the ranking 1st "Watanabe-shachou" on stream. Anyways, suddenly the official site announces that "Exe:Late" starts to operate on Thursday. "In-Birth Front" will also be down on that day from 0:00 AM to 5:00 AM (Japanese time)
