I'm planning on working on a video thread for Both Mitsuru and Shadow Mitsuru once the arcade version drops. My gut says that I should separate them into two posts but until I hear from Jourdal or someone, or until we find out for certain if Shadow Mitsuru will get a subforum, I'll wait on actually posting it. We wont see any footage until at least Thursday anyway. I'm feel that I'm OCD enough with finding footage that I would keep them pretty up to date. If Jourdal or another mod was planning on making those already and have a problem with me doing it, would it be ok if I could still edit it and help out?

We’re planning on streaming OmniSScythe vs Psykotic around 5:30 or 6:00pm EST. I figure any other sets can take place afterwards, unless it conflicts with a player’s schedule. I’m ok with running OmniSScythe vs Omnix since it got 2nd place by a large number but I’m leaving it up to Omni and Omnix, since Omni would have just played a set. Scheduling is already a bit tight for Psykotik, so it’s unlikely he can have his set Zeromus this time. The plan for streaming is tomorrow night starting around 5:00-5:30pm EST to start setting up. I plan to start with Omni vs Psykotik, then run Zeromus vs Dark Ranger88, and if Omni is interested him vs OmnixTSC. Depending on how things are going and how late things run, I might keep the stream running longer so guys within the chat can set up their own First to 3s or 5s. I’ve done that before for persona and it was a lot of fun. Maybe an open lobby thing too. We’ll just see how things are running then. Also, there’s no persona this week. Since this is my first time setting up BBCP, I want to focus on running it smoothly. In the future, I’ll be setting them both up simultaneously. I’ll also update each post with the other’s results, suggestions forms, and polls. And finally, I'm looking for commentators! I've been asking some well known players, and might get someone knowledgable on the mic, but it might end up being hit or miss. I know nothing about Kagura, Carl, and the majority of the cast. Be forewarned, if it's just me, then don't expect any insight during matches. I feel like the autocombo differences might give certain players a preference towards one version of the character. I can't shake this feeling that normal mitsuru looks a little bit stronger, but I know that it's misplaced this early on. Unfortunately, endless droits might not be possible due to minimum charge time. It might be, but it'll be close. Plus if it's like p4a where combos drop after the second b droit, then it wont be practical. STILL FUN THOUGH

It's kind of funny how I've been worried whether we'll see loketest footage of Mitsuru, and it doesn't matter since the game comes out in a week. I'm excited to see how all these new changes play out throughout the arcade release. Jourdal, don't let us down! When the time comes, I kind of want to make a video thread specifically for Shadow Mitsuru. I wonder if jp players will switch to her from the normal ice queen. It'll be interesting to see which players pick which version.

5B is always better than 3C if you can CH with it, but like you said, it has range issues. The majority of reversals will push you too far away on block. With a weakpoint, you should probably default to 5C > 236D, or 5D > 3D. 5C > 3D

CH 3D is a great starter. It's just that there often isn't enough recovery on some moves to punish with it. Depending on the situation, I'll punish with everything from 6D, 3D, 5D, to 5C or 3C.

I created a poll where you guys can vote. If I notice that it is being abused, then I'll close it and start over. I can't remember if I mentioned it, but from now on, I would prefer if you guys only suggested one or two matchups. It is incredibly obvious when you guys abuse the suggestion form lol. For the last year, I've been playing online a lot. Something with BBCP isn't the same though. Either with how the game is designed, the netcode, or maybe the players themselves. It's so much better to be able to some sets in with players in real life. Keep spoiling me guys. Ray, you actually play a lot of the characters that I want to get experience against. Especially all of them. If someone didn't already lend you their's, you can have my copy soon, since I'll be splitting a digital copy this weekend with Kevin. There's no point in just letting it sit there. I'd have given it away by now, but since my last paycheck got fucked up, I have to wait until at least Friday.
