I feel like the increased entry fee is most likely to deter people from entering. It could be free for all I care and I'd still go. More than anything, I just want to be able to play persona seriously offline. I even made plans to go on one of the Saturdays just to play some sets with Marvin and Roch.

Can I get in on this? FT10s sounds like a lot of fun. I'll play pretty much anyone if the connection's good, but I can assume that west coast would be best. I wouldn't mind commentating either if the match involved Mitsuru, Kanji, or Narukami. Still got all my old recording equipment from my (don't laugh) youtube days. Mostly I'd play Mitsuru but I feel my Kanji or Narukami would be fun to try as well. As for who I'd like to see play, pretty much anybody. The better they are the better it is to watch. @susano, RockVolnuttx is an excellent liz. I might be able to get him to participate if I ask nicely the next time I see him online. Oh, and I'd say that evenings work best for me any day. EDIT- I just had a thought. This is most definitely your thing to run and I can tell it'll turn out well, but if you need help streaming then I can do some of that too. I guess it would only really be something to consider if some people want a FT10 streamed but you aren't available at that particular time. It would be 720p, if that matters. if you need any other help, Jyosua has good streaming equipment too and is pretty chill. And please feel free to decline. Just remember that if you need assistance, there's plenty of people who would be glad to help

Finally, someone understands my struggle! And sorry about taking my time with the arc revo Hakumen videos. I've been a tad bit busy with finals and work lately. Early next week I can compile that stuff.

I'll be honest. I don't really play Ex much anymore, however, I would gladly grab my old copy for some haku mirrors.

GGs Guambombboy. Awesome matches, really hype, tons of fun. Kanji mirrors the best!

[P4A] Yu Narukami - Beginner Thread / Q&A

My bad, I was just using mitsuru as an example because she commonly uses bufudyne to get out. It's certainly not the only character that can get out in that situation. -

If she uses bufudyne and izanagi gets hit then she loses meter and gets punished hard. If she has 100 meter then she can OMC out but she will lose all of that, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. My previous example pressure was going off the situation where she doesn't bufudyne. -

If, lets just say a mitsuru has a tendency to bufudyne, you can block until you can confirm that they have been caught by 5D, then just run up start pressure and then go for your jump/empty-jump/fuzzy/etc while 5DD fills the gap. Even without 5DD you can get respectable damage, especially with resources. -

Narukami has excellent corner carry combos and his vortex nature adds to this. It's very likely that once you get going with your pressure, you'll end up in the corner, so it is a huge boost to learn some strong, safe corner oki. Basic high/low is important but you should also learn empty jumps, throw/throw-bait setups and maybe even fuzzies. The majority of my oki confirms end up being in the corner, so I would say that making the most of it is a must. -
There's always EVO. Sadly I don't have an Xbox though.

Guys, I started Jojo's and it's amazing. This show is so over the top. I loved seeing Dio walk straight up a wall just because he could. It already was the best AoA in the game. It beats throws, DPs in most situations and mashing. The range is pretty good. The risk/reward is incredibly high since, while vulnerable on recovery, on block it can't actually be counter hit. On hit she can get oki anywhere on the screen, which can basically win her the match, or she can simply go for the kill if the opponent is at 2/5 or 1/2 health depending on the character. It's used to bait almost everything imaginable and it also happens to hit high, close to un-reactable. Throw in 50 meter for a OMC and she doesn't even have to stop pressure on block. My PS360+ should come in later today. Do you mind helping me install this one as well?

So what I'm hearing is that I can watch those in any order because their all great? cool. Criteria? I hadn't really thought about it. Nothing too long. It has to have an intended ending. Nothing Shonen Jump, basically. Other than that I'm pretty open. If something is suggested, then I'll look into it and probably try a few episodes out at some point.

I'm down for Friday if you're going to do something. I understand that for sure. The show itself isn't for everyone. The length alone makes it hard to recommend as something everyone should watch. Also, what other anime should I get around to watching eventually? Once I finish Gankutsuou I'm going to watch Mushi-shi, JoJo, Great Teacher and then eventually finish Samurai Champloo (Not sure why I stopped that one).

I'd appreciate a spoiler free environment for those who choose to watch it. Treading dangerously, my good man. It's hard to explain really. The premise is enough to spark interest and the ending serves to give the reader/viewer more than enough to think about, whilst avoiding pissing you off entirely like others that end similarly. However, it is not an idea or theme that should drive you to continue. watching. While it is expected for everyone to be interested in the ending, the journey is better. I don't have enough time to get into it now because I have a doctors appointment in 30 minutes but just trust me that it's worth it. Characters develop better than pretty much any other show I've watched. Everything happens for a reason. If you think an episode or set of episodes is filler, you're mistaken. Everything is important. Ryd', you're entitled to your opinions but I find it kind of irritating that you're able to judge an anime based solely reading it's premise. Give it a shot and then talk, you might find you like it. I'm not trying to call you out or anything, just saying that it's worth giving it a shot My opinion, that's all. Gankutsuou makes me want to use BIGGG words
