3 hours of Shikki, oh yes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMntrnF121o

Haz is dropping tekkin and p4a entirely. Honestly, we couldn't expect to fill p4a anyway. I'm committed to stopping by Saturdays to play with Marvin. I've been talking with him on facebook and I can tell he's a really cool guy (not that I had a different impression before). I'll probably be going with Kevin. Eric, if you're interested, we can probably pick you up on the way.

I think I would most enjoy a chance to fight a good yosuke. Would anyone of you guys be interested in playing against Mitsuru, even if it was just casuals?
-
I'd be interested in playing with him but I'd need to test the connection first, seeing that we're on opposite sides of the country.
-
I feel like campaigning as well. A vote for Rath is a vote for tax reform cheap Mitsuru netplay, or Kanji/Narukami. It doesn't really matter to me.

I'm busy all Saturday, like literally from 7am to 11pm. Not sure if I'd want to come for my usual 2 hours this Friday anyways, so don't consider this when making a decision. Thanks again for all the help with my fight stick. Come to think of it, I'm much more creative and productive with coming up with new tech when I'm unable to play. I'm glad you've held on to my stick for a couple days. There's so much for me to try now. Couldn't wait to get my stick back to try some stuff out. I don't even know what buttons are supposed to be set where on a pad but I somehow made it work. Glad to find that all of my experiments/ideas work just as well or better than I was hoping. I just wish I could practice enough to get the execution down.

Hopefully it'll be uploaded to youtube at some point. I live for this stuff. -

Can anyone direct me to the stream archive for p4a? I was having trouble finding anything for salt fest. -
I wouldn't mind. At the very least I we could do some casuals to check the connection. We could do lol Kanji mirrors too :P

I know I said that I could stay all night over the summer but it's looking bad now. My work schedule is going to be a major pain in the ass for Friday nights. I'm coaching a swim team until 9pm and then I have a swim meet to help run at 6am every Saturday morning. Unless stuff happens on Saturdays occasionally, I'll probably not be stopping by even as much as I am now. I'll definitely start texting to see if I can come over randomly though.

Right now there's tons of interest in this, as well as several people willing to help (myself included). At least, I hope the times can vary from week to week. I'm sure that some people aren't always available on Saturday evenings. If people want a certain match-up to take place, then I hope we can make it work. However ehric wants to set this up is best, all we can do is offer help and make suggestions
-
Maybe these could be twice per week or something. You can"t really get too much of this stuff.

It might be helpful to update the OP with some of the information you've gathered, ehric, as well as the poll link. Maybe we could do a poll every so often to determine who should play. Personally I would pick matches based on who I want to see first, and connection second. I understand that it's always better if players are close by, but I would like to see some matchups that we don't see too often. Most of us have already played (or play frequently) with those in and around our state. I'm not saying it's a bad thing by any means, merely that I'm interested in playing some new people seriously and I'm wondering if others feel the same way.
-
I normally like to come as soon as possible, but tomorrow I might not get the chance until close to 9. If I'll only be there for like 2 hours then it might not be worth making my parents drive me. Either way, we'll see how it all works out. Be patient, I'll be 18 only one day after your birthday. And I'll need to take a look at these games some more. I have no clue how either LoL or Dota work.
-
So far the only west coast players that are interested are Zeromus, RockVolnuttx and myself, so I understand why I could end up playing Zeromus. My main complaint is just that I already play him all the time. I'd still be down for it though, but only if I couldn't get a decent connection with someone else. I'm sure I could probably get a 2 bar or something with people as far as the midwest. Maybe it's worth trying it out first with some goofy matches.
-
Agreed, I suppose that I just wish there were more people to play with. I'm looking forward to playing some Friday, but those sessions feel too spaced out for me (even if it's nearly every week). More than anything, I'm frustrated with my own patterns. The things I end up enjoying enough to take seriously end up being the least popular things imaginable. Maybe I should learn LoL or something.

I don't blame you guys, but it's still frustrating. Besides Eric and occasionally Luke, the only place I can go to in order to play seriously is netplay, and that's been getting progressively more fucked up lately. I'll be going on some Saturdays now, just to get some matches in with Marvin. I really wish this game was brand new again so I could play some more people in person. Excuse me if I sound at all insulting. Most of you have told me that you'd rather just keep this game casual so I'm not really making many assumptions. I just need to vent a little bit. I'm just gonna go do that thing no one knows about that usually calms me down. It's a secret.
