GGs guys. That was awesome, but I think I should have left earlier. I should have anticipated that it could have gone a little bit later than what was scheduled, but OMG Marvel took ages (2AM!!!). Persona GFinals were awesome. I was rooting for a Justin comeback. Also, good to get my stick fixed, those guys makin repairs were pretty awesome. I think I snagged 5th (something like that). Dropped every combo I ever started, but oh well. Next time will be a different story. Once I could use my stick again, I didn't lose any more casuals (not that it's at all the same thing). I'll try and make it next time.

Cool, then I'll get to work on it tomorrow. I have time today, but since I'm going to a tourney where I plan to use a fightstick, I don't think it would be wise to start using a controller. I might even be able to get my stick fixed while I'm there, which would make things a great deal easier! Expect me to be finished sometime during next week. Also, would you like me to include heat gain? It's not too much extra work to put in, but enough that i would appreciate being lazy. Let me know what you think.

I suppose what would be easier for me would be to split the video into the different sections of the combo thread. If it gets too long I'll just need to split it between a part 1 and part 2. If newer stuff is discovered or added then I wouldn't mind making an updated version with just the new tech. If that all sounds good with you guys, I can start on it once my stick is fixed this weekend. (I'm so sad, it happened yesterday) Worst case scenerio, I need to use a controller. I'm sure I could pull it off either way.

I think I'll be going, assuming my friend is still able to take me. If he decides to stay home, then I'm screwed. Assuming it all goes well, this should be a ton of fun!

I used to complain about teddy, but after playing my friend who mains him (and is awesome with him), I don't care too much. Chie, Aigis, Yosuke Elizabeth is usually a free win, but my buddy is so ridiculously good at dealing with my pressure that I usually get bodied. 30 seconds in and he never once tried to fight back, just blocked everything and broke out of every grab. At this point he has full meter and once he fights back I'm screwed. Anyway, this doesn't change the fact that it's in Mitsuru's favor. But I have to say, that his Elizabeth scares me. It doesn't help that my other main is Kanji.

I'm still not sure if anyone would like me to do this. It might actually be fun. I just need to know what you guys think.

It's pretty difficult for him to apply pressure against mitsuru. Even if he shocks you, your normals can beat out most if his attempts to get close. Unless you're reacting to something, try not to DP too often. His fatal counters can easily (EASILY!) break 5k without heat. At the very least expect him to command grab. Even against his dive (which good Kanji's shouldn't be doing often) you shouldn't DP unless you freak out. Mitsuru's 2B get's awesome damage and has no standing frames. So even if you wiff, his dive will still miss you flat out, giving you a free punish in most cases. If you block his DP, you should have enough time to counter with a fully charged 4B, At least a regular one. Enjoy the free win.

I've only fought a few good Aigis' and I normally get bodied. Not only is she an awesome character, but my lack of experience in this match-up just makes it worse. If anyone out there plays Aigis or plays against one frequently, I would greatly appreciate your input.

I should be able to make it the thing tomorrow, assuming friend still plans on going. he lives down the block so he can take me. If tomorrow isn't good, then don't worry about it. I don't know when the next time I'll go to one of these things is, but I hope I get time often. I don't even play Marvel, but I had a lot of fun watching the ENTIRE last stream on youtube. I'm sure I'll be able to get it fixed eventually. If I need to use a controller at home for a while, so be it. However, tomorrow I should be able to borrow my buddies, or someone else's. You guys all seem like pretty chill dudes.

I have no clue where to get parts or what I need at this point. I guess I'll bring it, hope for the best, and just go from there. At the very least, I can hopefully find out what I'll need to get replaced for next time.

Do you guys think that anyone will be there tomorrow who has any knowledge fixing fightsticks? My joystick stopped working today where 1 and 3 inputs wont recognize 9/10 of the time. If I hold down back or down forward, my character just walks back or forward. Menus are even difficult to navigate. I'm guessing I'll need to order some parts. I REALLY hope I don't need to replace the whole stick. 130 bucks is a lot of money at the moment. I wasn't planning on using the stick for the tournament, but with so many people there, I hope someone could help me. I'm also interested in trying out my friends octagon gate. If I like it, I might get one of those instead. But I'll most likely stick to a square gate.

What usually happens (for me at least) is that you can condition the other person to press buttons on wake up. Once you read this, you can run up and then do [4B]. It's beats plenty of DPs if they don't delay it (Chie, Teddy, Naoto, and a few others come to mind). There's also a lot of stuff it can be used to punish on reaction (Kanji, Elizabeth, and Aigis' DP, and maybe a few others) Remember, if it has a chance to hit, go for every once in a while. I like to do 5AA > 6B > 2AB (feint) > C+D (grab) a few times in a row. Once I can feel safe that they'll try to start counter grabbing me, I'll begin to use [4B] instead of the grab in the same pressure. It works wonders if it's against the right person.

I suppose it would be worth waiting until the combo thread OP is updated. There are a lot of combos that really aren't worth using at all there. Also worth noting, I haven't checked in the last few days, so I might be putting my foot in my mouth.
