It's understandable if it isn't perfect the first time they give it back to you. With my stick they told me to play with a few people and let them know how I liked it before paying.

Has anyone seen Under Night In-Birth? That games looks so cool. Unfortunately, I can't find any indication of whether or not it'll come stateside, ever. Such a shame too. I'm assuming that there's a chance of a US release but even if that happens (which it might never happen) we'll probably have to wait a long time. I don't even know anything about balancing or how it works. It just looks really freaking cool.

I have work. I'd be willing to go under normal circumstances, so long as it wouldn't be an all nighter. Also, Ruben, I send you a request on PSN. I might remember hearing you say something along the lines of 'I don't play online", but if you're ever on I'm willing to play. Hell, I play this game too much as it is. And I learned some pretty stupid stuff with Mitsuru. It's the biggest change in the world, going from only having horrible matchups with Kanji to having great ones on half the cast. I played her before even more than Kanj but after such a long break, this feels wrong.

Bummer. I hope you can get a new one sometime soon-ish. At least you'll always be able to borrow someone's if you ever play in person.

Until I get used to someone's bursting habits, I tend not to bait at all. I'm always surprised by dumb players who don't burst when they should lose the entire match.

At the very least, we should all be comfortable punishing stupid bursts. It's good to get lucky with people bursting high up. 5AA > j.A > j.B > dj.A > j.B > j.214B > 236A/B ... I suppose this is the easiest thing to do and should work regardless of how high they are in the air. If they're high enough where you think you can land 5C, you could do something like... 5C > 214B > 5AA > j.A > j.B > dj.A > j.B > 214B > 236A/B ... This should be a good 1500-ish extra damage over the first one. I'm not at my console to check right now.
