I'm not 100% sure right now, but I might be able to come if I hitch a ride with someone, and if I can leave by 10. It's still a little bit sketchy, though. It depends if my buddy needs me to take his shift at the pool and if my family has anything planned. I can help with both Kanji and Mitsuru matchups, given that they're my mains.

I'm not trying to sound arrogant, but I think I could take him. At the very least we would go back and forth. You're right, people need to start baiting 2B more, regardless of the character. With kanji, I can actually PUNISH people for trying to 2B me for a free 5K without meter. Man... a P4U night sounds fantastic, but I doubt I can go. It's eating me up inside. Does anyone have a timeframe in mind? Knowing when and how long would be helpful for me.

Playing against my friend who mains teddy, and Dave occassionally, I know that you can roll through the bat for a free punish. Obviously, it's not worth doing unless you have good reason to think that he'll use it, but it can save this match-up for characters like Kanji. The same thing goes for Aigis' 2B. teddy's 2B has (probably) the best hitbox as an anti-air in the game. So I would expect him to go for it a lot. Try using moves to stop your momentum outside of his range and (hopefully, probably character dependent) go for the punish. Maybe you could use the move where Izanagi comes down from the sky. I haven't used him enough to know it's input or usefullness. Just a thought. Just in case, I'll be sure to eliminate marvin for you next time. The way I play kanji, Teddy is nothing. Seriously though, I play against Teddy way too freaking much. Why can't my friends play normal characters? Although, I will say that I think he's adorable. The way he waddles in fast-forward while he runs is so hilarious, especially after a counter hit bat.

[P4A] Kanji Tatsumi Combo Thread "I am not done beating you yet!"
LegendaryRath replied to A.X.I.S.'s topic in Kanji Tatsumi
That'll come in handy for the video soon enough, Just don't get too picky about it. That stuff takes ages to edit entirely and I'll probably mess a few notations up. -
Unfortunately, no one can tell you how it works, you just need to figure out the timing. In my experience, I have a higher success rate with [5B] than [6B]. Keep in mind that they need to be as high as possible when it hits in order for C Bufula to hit. If they are too low after the 2AB and C Bufula misses, you can get some decent damage off of a grab. It'll throw them right into the ice for something like this GRAB > (makes contact with ice) > [6B] > 2AB > B Coup. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get it eventually.

[P4A] Kanji Tatsumi Gameplay Discussion "Brofisting is in!"
LegendaryRath replied to A.X.I.S.'s topic in Kanji Tatsumi
OK, not a problem. I hope I can get this done soon. But certainly not before Thursday. -
To be fair, I did say "in most cases". There are a lot of times when I 2B even when he goes right over my head which isn't good. But unless he ends up less than a foot from you, he can't do much more than just 2Ab > cruel attack

I'll be on and off the PS3 all day fi anyone wants to play. I'll get around to spamming friend requests in a couple minutes. After yesterday, I feel that I should stop using my 720p vizeo and start using my 1080 ASUS monitor. As well as start playing on my lap. It felt weird at first, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It's not like I can bring a table with me to haz's.

He's in California As a side note, has anyone ever played brkrdave before? His teddy and Arakune are god-like. I play him occasionally and usually get bodied-and-a-half. Looked online for professional matches and well... he's better than all the japanese teddies I watch. Seriously, he's a monster, and a pretty chill dude.

[P4A] Kanji Tatsumi Gameplay Discussion "Brofisting is in!"
LegendaryRath replied to A.X.I.S.'s topic in Kanji Tatsumi
Do inputs really matter? I still plan on having the combos listed beneath. I agree that I need longer gaps, but it just didn't work out for my first one. -
I probably told this to everyone when I was there, but I'm so bummed that I didn't get to play Kanji more. I was really trying to just use him, however, most people I fought were Kanjis (that mirror match is retarded) or zoners. I fought like 3 yukikos and an elizabeth. And also, not to be a jerk, but my friend who I play against on a daily basis is probably as good (or better, maybe...) of a teddie than Marvin (is it Marvin? Learning names here.) and I beat him 2 to 1 most of the time. I really wish I could show that I actually do know teddy matchups. Didn't get a chance to play him later, unfortunately. Teddy is adorable, by the way. Have you ever noticed his running animation? He's waddling in fast forward.
