  1. I mean...I kind of posted that two pages back in the concert setlist, but...indeed it is.
  2. NOPE. No, it's not. I don't care what they say. That's clearly not what he says. lol Well, gotta keep it consistent with the other songs, I guess.
  3. Which theme? One of the ones from GG2 Overture?
  4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RwMVaug31A Here we go. You can also listen to BLUE desire.
  5. Someone compiled some images from the CPE opening (since I mentioned it earlier). http://imgur.com/a/v6ASD#0 http://imgur.com/s101YtG
  6. I'm not about to type out a full translation, but basically Mori and Ishiwatari are really proud of everyone and thought that the VAs really put their all into it. Ishiwatari said that before now, Asami Imai had always been kind of nervous about it, but she seems to have gotten used to being on stage. They said that Sanchez really nailed it and that Kitazawa is always fun to have around for Awakening the Chaos. Mori said that maybe for the next concert, he wants to get more orchestral instruments involved, though it'd be logistically difficult. They said that they did Blazblue only this time because there may be fans out there that pretty much only know BB and it might not be as fun for them to sit through songs that they may not know. A Guilty Gear only concert is also a very real possibility. And then maybe after that, they'll do another huge joint concert. Nothing is finalized right now.
  7. Yeah. He said something about both of them. Must've combined them in my head by mistake. Post edited.
  8. Went to the concert today. Good stuff. I can fill in some details. First the set list (fixed some errors from those tweets): Calamitytrigger (CT Arcade Opening) CONTINUUM SHIFT (CS Arcade Opening) CHRONOPHANTASMA (CP Arcade Opening) CHRONORISE (CP2 Arcade Opening) Rebellion (Ragna) Under Heaven Destruction (Ragna vs. Jin) Crystal Forest (Celica) Catus Carnival (Taokaka) Plastic Night (Relius) Love So Blue ~Blue Heartbeats~ [Kanako Kondou] (Noel Vocal) Stardust Memory ~Eternal Days~ [Kanako Kondou] (from the Character Song Album) Bang!Bang!Big!Bang! ~Justice Will Prevail! The Hero Has Come!~ [Tsuyoshi Koyama] (CP Bang Fuurinkazan) Reppuu [Tsuyoshi Koyama] (Bang Vocal) Soukyuu no Hikari [Faylan] (CSE Opening) Blue sanction [Faylan] (CP Console Opening) BLUE desire [Faylan] (CPE Opening) marionette [sCREEN mode] (CPE Ending) Lust SIN (Jin) Childish Killer [Mary Dale Paris Sanchez] (Jin vs. Tsubaki) Condemnation Wings ~Cry Camellia...~ [Asami Imai] (Tsubaki Vocal) Justice Sword ~recta ratio~ [Asami Imai] (Izayoi Vocal) Shinsou [Asami Imai] (CS2 Arcade Opening) Gluttony Fang (Hazama) Silent Scream (Terumi) Endless Despair (Boss Hazama) Drive Qualia ~Words of the Past and Future~ [Megu Sakuragawa] (CP Console Ending) Awakening the Chaos [sachi Kitazawa] (Nu/Lambda) *ENCORE* RISING (CP Arcade Ending) *ENCORE* They only had 2 guitarists this time, but there were only a couple of instances where a song was really hurting for the harmony guitar. For exmaple, during the main chorus part of Crystal Forest, the rhythm guitar part was dropped and the second guitarist played harmony. Unfortunately, the sound balance was off at times. Sometimes, you could barely hear the violin or the keyboard, but other times you could. Some solos weren't really heard that well. I think the dude at the soundboard was effing up or something. It was still a pretty great show overall. The version of Stardust Memory that they did was not the one that Kondou sang at the first BBxGG concert (Place of Promise) but the new version that was on the CD with recta ratio and REVENGER and such. Some cool/funny things that happened. We were met with opening announcement by Tomokazu Sugita as Ragna. He wasn't there. It was just pre-recorded. But, it was Ragna bitching about how Rachel forced him to do the announcing for the concert, thinking that his mic wasn't on (it was). A similar incident occurred at the end where he said that he was never going to do anything like this again. Upon realizing that his mic was still on, he told audience to literally GTFO. The first 4 opening songs were played in a medley style with transitions, so it was kind of like one long song. The openings themes were played alongside the actual opening movies from the game (and pretty much perfectly timed, good job band). The CP2 opening was edited so that instead of the character panels being revealed, it was photos of the band members. The CPE opening movie was also played alongside BLUE desire. It's pretty boss sauce. It actually gave me feels. It has a lot of animated clips from the past, such as Nine yelling at Celica regarding using her soul for the lynchpin with Trinity, Jubei, and Ragna in the background. Also there's a shot of Litchi and Roy talking which morphs into Litchi and Arakune fighting. There was also a very psycho-looking Izayoi fighting Jin and Makoto. Gratuitous jiggle all around. I'm sure everyone will get a chance to see the opening movie soon. Tsuyoshi Koyama still can't really sing live to save his life, the poor guy. But, he sold it a lot better this time. There was also the great return of the 6-pack abs makeup, which the camera guy focused on a lot. Actually, after he sang his first song, he took off his coat (like last time) and this time made the off color joke where he called his nipples the "A button" and the "B button" and then pointed to his crotch and said that that was the stick. Everybody was immediately uncomfortable, but it was pretty funny. He then said that he was egged on to say that by Mori after being assured that there was not going to be a DVD of it. But if they do make one, he wants that part to be cut out. marionette is a pretty cool song. Looking forward to hearing the studio version. Childish Killer was so good, I almost didn't care about the Engrish. lol There was an awkward momemt when Asami Imai started back singing too early during Condemnation Wings during the middle guitar solo. That was a pretty funny face. Asami Imai had the audience vote on whether or not she was going to sing recta ratio and Shinsou in a "super-cute" way or a "cool" way. When a lot of people voted for cute, she was like "For real? No. That's not going to happen. Sorry." There were a few interludes where they played scenes from the game. They played Ragna and Jin's meeting in CT story mode before UHD, a scene of Ragna lying on Celica's lap from CP story before Crystal Forest, Jin's CP arcade ending before Lust SIN, and Hazama's CS arcade ending before they played Gluttony Fang. After Endless Despair, they just kind of walked off the stage. They didn't even pretend like the concert was "over". It was just like, break time. They didn't say nothing. The audience stood in silence for a good 45 seconds before they realized that maybe they should be saying "encore" or something. Mori made an announcement that there will be a BlazBlue festival in July. I'm pretty sure he said that all the Blue Radio hosts will be there. And Ishiwatari said that he would like to do another concert. But, no plans yet. For the encore, everyone put on the Concert T-shirts (like last time). During the final curtain call, Koyama kept lifting his shirt up to reveal his "abs" and Imai kept forcing his shirt back down. Then as they were all leaving, he snuck behind Mori and Ishiwatari and lifted up their shirts. Clearly, this man must be stopped. lol I guess if anyone has any questions, they can feel free to ask. I would've liked it had they done maybe Litchi or Arakune's themes or maybe even Weak Executioner instead of having 2 Hazama songs AND the Terumi song, but whatever. I dunno if they ever will. *sigh*
  9. I am not confusing anything. The PS3 versions of the songs are indeed 80kbps. I have had the chance. Take my word for it.
  10. They were talking about ripping it from the game. The songs on the PS3 version were only 80kbps-ish. PS4 was higher, though I'm not sure what the bitrate was. At least 128. The CD version is something different. I highly doubt that the official soundtrack will be anything less than industry standard (or at least the Special Edition vocal soundtrack, which was fine).
  11. Not even English voices would convince me to rewatch Alter Memory...
  12. Destructive Goodwill is cool because it really fits its title and the title really fits Faust. lol Well, that and it's basically a throwback to Suspicious Cook, and everybody likes Suspicious Cook. Everybody.
  13. I'm trying to get used to playing GG on a stick. The two fightsticks I have (PS3 SF4TE and PS4 GGXrd Sanwa) have an 8 main button layout. As everyone perhaps knows, the default arcade layout for GGXrd (as well as previous games) is: [ ] Λ R1 (L1) X O R2 (L2) K S HS (Play) P R D (Rec) Now, this is all well and good. But, my natural hand position basically falls (from thumb, fore, middle, ring, and little) on P, K, S, HS, and Play. But I'm finding it awkward to use the Dust button in combos without moving my hand and screwing up any other corresponding muscle memory. Trying to use my little finger to access Dust is kind of painful for my apparently hyoog American hands and using my ring finger to access it (without moving any of my other fingers) feels sluggish. The easy way out for me would be to map Dust onto L1, but there are only 6 buttons on the actual arcade machines (no L1 or L2). I wanted to be able to transition back and forth seamlessly if I ever happen to randomly be at an arcade. There are a couple other button layouts to choose from, but I kind of figure that the default has been the default up until now for a reason and I'm already kind of used to it. This is a long winded way of me asking how you handle your finger positioning using the default layout. I can probably figure something out or get used to something with practice, but I thought it couldn't hurt to get some data before I try. Are you "supposed" to be using you pinky for Dust? (The other stick topics seemed more hardware based. Sorry if I'm being redundant.)
  14. Childish Killer...? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll forgive it if Imai and Kondou sing Don't Look Back.
  15. This is doubly funny because that kind of sounds like Tsuyoshi Koyama during the live concerts. lol
  16. THE DRAGON SIGNAL.
  17. Dizzy was the one who contacted Sol in the first place because Ky was having a mental breakdown. lol
  18. As far as I know, Daisuke wrote the song in Japanese first and then Motomura (Black Onslaught guy) translated it. That'd be some wicked magic if they were changing it on the fly like that. But, they would try to fit 4 syllables on what sounds like it's supposed to be 3 notes. lol
  19. Hey, I didn't say it was good. I said it wasn't that bad/not terrible. There's a difference. I've heard worse is all I'm sayin'. lol
  20. Well, it was 3:30 in the morning for me when I watched and I wasn't paying attention. lol
  21. Strange that they used Japanese Sol vs. English Ragna (since Sol is American and who knows where the f*** Ragna is from. England?). They ripped a bunch of music and stuff from the game. You think they could've swiped the 3 quotes that they used in match from Xrd. Or maybe it's just cause Daisuke's voice is that OP. lol
  22. It's definitely there in Chapter 10 of story mode. The ESRB rating already covers blood, so I doubt random blood spurts during gameplay would raise the rating any, Not having it during gameplay must be an aesthetic choice like in AC.
  23. Well, Bedman's IK is supposed to make you relive the worst parts of your past regardless of the character. If there's no connection, that's fine. It'd add a cool layer though.
