  1. Thanks. Sounds adequately goofy. I kind of want to hear more of everybody though. (Sol, Ky, and Sin are pretty sufficient to make a judgement on.) Also... "Behold the power of my lightning! Have at you!" Pfffffffffffffffft... Well, if anyone was going to sound that corny, it was probably going to be Ky.
  2. Not if they're going to change decades worth of tradition. lol
  3. Okay, I've seen some vids. Sol: It sounds ok, like, half the time. In match is fine. The other half it just sounds...like he reeeeeeeeeeally wanted to do that grumble but his voice was not meant for it. lol Ky: Not what I'm used to, but I think it works. May: Seems cute enough. Millia: Hmmm... I wanna says it sounds...nasally? But, it's fine. Zato: I like it. Potemkin: He sounds far too normal. Needs moar filter. Characterization sounds fine, though. Chipp: Eh. Works for me. Faust: (Haven't heard it yet.) Axl: I like it. I always thought his JP voice was grating. Definite point in favor of keeping it in English. Slayer: Yes. I-no: Needs a little more ham. It could be really good. Bedman: From the one line I heard, sounds good. Ramlethal: It's okay. She sounds...unhinged. Which I think kind of works. Sin: It works. I keep expecting Lowenthal's voice, though. lol Venom: "Let's break." Well, the voice might grow on me. ...Maybe. The "I never miss a called shot" line sounded kind of cool in and of itself. Just as an aside, this whole "Press Options Button" nonsense has gotta go. IT'S "PRESS START BUTTON", DAMN IT!!! lol
  4. Oh, lawd. I'm at work so I can't watch anything. I mainly use Venom, so this should be fun. lol
  5. Yeah. That was the deal from the get go. That's part of the reason I thought it was worth it.
  6. Well, you know... It does say that the design may be slightly different. It could be a plant to throw people off until they get it, at which point maybe another new character will be revealed and another small circle added into the new characters group... ...Or not. But, I dunno how the layout of the character select screen is going to look when Leo is added. Even if there have been odd numbered select screens in the past, they were still designed to be visually balanced.
  7. I don't think this is been posted yet, so if it's old, then sorry. But, I have no idea when it was updated. The special edition Sanwa stick has pictures of all three faceplates now, if some people were interested in obtaining it. http://ebten.jp/p/7015014091001/ lol @ the 3rd one. The plates are definitely more interesting than the Madcatz one in my opinion...
  8. I think the MVC2 one does. The only ones that I know don't is the first generation SF4 TE and SF4 TE Round Two is wonky but might work if you have a USB 3.0 port. Ones that were released after that should be good.
  9. I'm pretty sure it's something to the effect of skipping the trial and going straight to the sentencing/conviction/judgment. "You won't get a trial!" would probably be a good transliteration. I expect the "too long, didn't wanna translate" reason for it being omitted. Which is odd, since they're apparently translating that Special Edition manual. One would think that a lot of that info would be simil--wait. Is this a ploy to get people to buy the Special Edition...?
  10. I cracked up so hard when I-no went "EL-CHAN!!!" in that countdown voice clip.
  11. Are you asking "Where?" lol ebten.jp/p/7015014091002/
  12. It's not completely out of the question, but at the same time, I won't get my hopes up. It'll probably be hella overpriced regardless.
  13. You mean the logic of taking a Japanese term such as "high-level attack" and having it be "mid attack" in English and vice-versa? Yeah, good luck with that. But, honestly, the blocking properties of attacks don't have a lot to do with the actual attack height so it's all shot to hell anyway.
  14. Do companies really see it as good PR to be announcing extra DLC characters before the game even comes out? Already I'm seeing comments like people are just going to wait for the expansion update that includes all the characters from the jump or wait for a price drop or something so they don't have to pay as much. One would think that would be no bueno for the bottom line.
  15. One does not simply question Venom's powers. lol
  16. That's a possibility. Depending on where it'd be dubbed, Kent Williams or Kirk Thornton might be pretty good.
  17. The one in the middle is Sol's model. The right one is an edit that someone who thought that his shoulders were too broad did. Different characters have a different time set for how long it takes before a negative penalty sets in. It's not uniform across the board, so things like whether that character is meant to play keep away or a charge character or something is taken into account.
  18. That wouldn't make a whole lot of sense, though. Seeing as 1. the game has a character besides I-no in the game introduced in the XX game (Slayer), and 2. the game builds on events that occurred in XX (such as Chipp wanting to become president). Things like that aren't central by any means, but there doesn't seem to be a real reason to just pretend it doesn't exist, especially when perhaps some people's favorite characters would be written out of existence so to speak. It's a sampler. It has the vocal tracks in the game (Heavy Day, Lily, Ride the Fire, etc.) and some tunes from the Vastedge pachinko game.
  19. I could see Jamieson Price working...maybe, but other than that, I can't even think of a decent fit. Michael McConnohie if he comes back is probably just going to be Paradigm. David Lodge?
  20. If it follows a similar timeline from the 2011 concert, I'd expect it in December.
  21. Everywhere else (GameStop, Amazon, Newegg, etc.) says 27 tracks. Play-Asia is the only one with the different number...
  22. Eh. I don't remember any major technical screw-ups large enough to topple the song. But, I suppose the song isn't for everyone. I suppose I can post this just one more time. CHRONOPHANTASMA (BBCP opening) SIX-HEROES (BBCP 6 Heroes) Does the Sheep Count the Sheep? (GGXrd Bedman) Black & White (BBCP Ragna v. Hakumen) The Lily of Steel (GGXrd Millia) Starry Story (GGXrd May) Sector7 (BBCP Sector 7) Bang!Bang!Big!Bang! ~Feat. Tsuyoshi Koyama~ (BBCP Bang FUURINKAZAN) REPPUU ~Feat. Tsuyoshi Koyama~ (BBCT Bang Vocal) Revenger ~Feat. Toa Ikinari~ (BBCP Bullet Vocal) Blue-Bloom ~Feat. Toa Ikinari~ (BBCSE Story Credits) Diva (GG2 Valentine 2nd Form) Dissonance (BBCP Valkenhayn v. Relius) Still in the Dark (GGX Millia v. Zato) in JUSTICE (BBCP Hakumen v. Izayoi) Ride the Fire ~Feat. Naoki Hashimoto~ (GGXrd Sol Dragon Install) Lily ~Feat. Naoki Hashimoto~ (GGXrd Credits) Heavy Day ~Feat. Naoki Hashimoto w/ Daisuke Ishwatari on rhythm guitar~ (GGXrd Opening) The Re-coming (GG2 Sol v. Ky) Under Heaven Destruction (BBCT Ragna v. Jin) Rebellion (BBCT Ragna) *encore* Holy Orders (GG2 Ky) *encore* Magnolia Eclair (GGXrd Ky) *encore* Blue = redux from previous concert Apparently Daisuke was in a couple more songs, but I don't remember which ones.
  23. For the record GameStop, Amazon, and the like say 27 tracks. Play-Asia maybe...mistyped it...?
  24. There most likely will be a DVD/CD combo like last time. They certainly had all the cameras and such recording.
  25. I'm back from the concert. Sooooooo worth the money. It was pretty damn awesome if I do say so myself. You want to know the set list, do ya...? I must say that Tsuyoshi Koyama is quite the character. He came out on stage with an open green shirt and a red scarf in a Bang-esque fashion. He also had a marker six pack on his stomach. He eventually just removed the shirt entirely. lol He also mentioned that he may have been wearing a fundoshi... There were a lot of fun moments involving the special guests and basically just the band talking to the audience during break time. Ishiwatari introduced the band and forgot to mention Naoki Hashimoto who was on stage at the time. Naoki let him have it. The bassist also mentioned in a joking way that pretty much none of Yuhki's arrangements were gonna happen live because they were too crazy. There were also a few cool solos sprinkled throughout some songs that weren't in the originals. So, that was fun. I think the lead guitarist's high string was out of tune or something, though. Either that or he noticeably goofed multiple times. I think I also heard a few keyboard hiccups. Everything was so damn loud that it didn't really matter anyway. But, all in all, great show. I was surprised they played so many. There was even confetti. Hope I'm in Japan to do it again. I kind of want some old-school Pride and Glory or Meet Again action. If anyone has any detailed questions, feel free to ask.
