  1. P4U2's going to be part of another tournament from May 3-6 titled the "PRE ARC REVOLUTION CUP."
  2. Do you understand Japanese or are you getting this from some other source? Everyone else has said that the only thing they mentioned was that there would be a new version of the game.
  3. Sprite size doesn't even match with Teddie's.
  4. First of all, I have to address something I think a lot of people fail to understand: Shadow Labrys' IK is more useful than ANY other character's, and you can ask any better Shadow Labrys player and they'll confirm that. The fact is, in my case, however, I am nowhere near able to consistently pull it off. Why I did it, though, are the following reasons: I was afraid of my opponent's potential comeback—which can always happen—, they lacked a Burst and I had 100 SP as well as my Burst. That means that the chance of me being able to connect it somehow and pull it off, although slim, was there, so I took the chance. I can GUARANTEE you that when BK used the IK in his match against LK, it wasn't to be stylish or to make a statement, but to be efficient. You can ask him about it. What I do online is what I would do in a local tournament because that's how I play. I don't have any "alternative" means of playing the game for online or local play, I just have the way I always play at my disposal. If you haven't noticed, "thoughtlessly ham" is EXACTLY how I've always played because that's the only way I learned how, so this isn't some kind of exception to an inexistent rule. I wasn't willing to "throw away the lead I had gotten", I was willing to win. I'm always willing to win, and that never changes. Netplay tournaments are very important to me, because that's the only way I can compete at some level against skilled players consistently. They're also usually fun (outside of Dustloop, for the most part). The thing is, since I've started playing here, most people have found it appropriate to insult me and disrespect me. And they DO insult me, unlike you're trying to suggest, either because of my character, because "I play wrong", because "I'm disrespectful", because "I'm too netplay" or whatever else they can conjure up to make fun of me. I've never said anything to anyone else and I've always been passive about it, but I'm not going to tolerate it anymore. Everything I've ever done in these tournaments has been laughed at, so I'm not going to take your word that people don't have something against me, for whatever reason. No one had EVER told me about how much it seemed disrespectful to IK before. I've always tried it, especially with Shadow Labrys, to try to win. It's obnoxious having commentators constantly insult my play and the chat going along with what they say. It's annoying that I have to deal with that each and every time I participate, even though I have never made fun of anyone else, and I'm never even told any way I can improve or change things in a way that other people will appreciate it more. I think I was banned from future tournaments because my IK was too disrespectful or something? At this point, I really don't care because participating in these has added a level of stress from elitism or snobbery towards me and they've stopped being fun a long while ago, which is why I decided to skip a few recent ones. I've always tried to go along with the rules, but people still find reason to hate me for it, and that's fine.
  5. Right, so I guess it's hard to make any assumptions about what this will consist of other than from how they announced it.
  6. Could anyone give me any ASW arcade game (GG, BB) analogs as a reference to what a "new version" of P4U2 could mean?
  7. Both sound rather inaccurate. The actual story's going to be in the console version, like always; this isn't some sequel. But this is probably going to be bigger than the previous three arcade updates that have happened before, which were mostly comprised of bug fixes (with some significant stuff at times like 1.01 bringing Persona Sho).
  8. Why did I import this thing.
  9. A new version of P4U2 was confirmed at the end of the Taito tournament. Team TSB (Chie and Teddie) were the winners, in the end.
  10. GGs. I noticed that you were dropping several combos, so I guess that must have been the issue.
  11. This seems to be the final form of Yu's secret super: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bRimjMlj3w Hadn't seen the finisher before.
  12. Some notable frame data differences based on what I can understand from the Mook: 2A: Static Diff is now -3 and not -1. 5B: Startup is 2 frames faster (13), but recovery is 2 frames slower (21) and Static Diff is -8. Also, damage is now 700 instead of 950. 2B: Startup is 5 frames faster (20), but recovery is 5 frames slower (25) and Static Diff is -12 (yikes). Also, head invul for frames 7-23. j.B: Startup is 2 frames faster (15), but recovery is 2 frames slower (14). A bit hard to navigate this stuff, not knowing Japanese, heh. Particularly, I wanted to check the Asterius frame data since that's where the major changes seem to be with Shadow Labrys, but I can't really tell which moves refer to what, even when I compare the numbers to their original ones.
  13. It's not a leak since the Mook's already out.
  14. http://dengekionline.com/elem/000/000/820/820419/ Dengeki preview article for the P4AU Mook.
  15. I'm bothered by the random, elaborate fan fiction some come up with to justify a potential return when we don't even know if he'll be in the game at all.
  16. I don't they could ever just "revive" Makoto. He's dead and that isn't going to change (he had a funeral and everything). What Elizabeth wants, of course, is to free his soul and potentially "see" him again in the process, but who knows how that could be conveyed or what form Makoto being freed from the shackles of the Great Seal could take.
  17. Yeah, it would have been too blatant a hint to have been heard of just recently and it makes more sense that it's referring to Sho, anyways. I guess Liz desires to meet with him so much because she's intrigued by the power he derives from solitude.
  18. Anyone know if this is this a shot from the P4AU Mook releasing next week or is it something else?
  19. Ah, my bad. That's what I get for not paying attention to the context of a discussion. Though, after you mentioned it, I guess I do recall Crisis being Shadow Akihiko's theme from the vids I saw. What's Shadow Yukari's, then? I have a vague memory of Deep Breath, Deep Breath, but that could be Shadow Junpei's.
  20. Well, yeah, it's obviously not a clear indication of anything. It's just meant to supplement an earlier prediction I had that there would at least be one additional character after SHO Minazuki's release, which was exactly three weeks after P4A2's release. Pretty sure this is false. Calamity/Crisis is Shadow Yukari's theme.
  21. Heh, wish I could be that optimistic about it. I at least predict one additional character, possibly an arcade time release character, simply because the command list page on the official site is clearly missing a slot, and that goes for the PDF version of it as well.
  22. Okay...? So we agreed from the outset.
  23. I'm interpreting "come out" very literally as opposed to it being a metaphor for the match-up. My point is that there's no clear indication either way.
  24. But doesn't the quote demonstrate that they could be two distinct physical entities instead of just being part of a singular vessel? And I'm not sure that's what happens at the end of the arcade mode cliffhanger (which happens for each character with a story and which is what my avatar is based on). Whether it's Sho or SHO, I think the same cutscene happens where Sho's scars glow red.
