  8. Cool, thanks a bunch for answering questions in general, I know I've asked a few already in this thread. My copy is supposed to come in today so really excited to start delving into it.
  9. Brett, did you happen to keep a Google Docs of notes for JoJo's like you did for GG and P4U? Wanted a place with centralized information about the game and that was the first thing I thought of since I knew you had been playing it.
  10. This is how I would imagine it to be as well, it allows ArcSys to gain additional income on designs and story concepts that they were creating for something else entirely anyway.

  12. Yo that's pretty damn hype. That combo costs what? 2 and a half bar or so? He has it set to infinite so can't tell how much it costs / builds in real time.
  13. For Celia II in this current version I highly recommend Tricky Vision (the teleport) and Core of Death (the command grab). As Delrian stated the teleport is really hard to punish right now and more or less a get out of jail free card when escaping oki setups. The command grab can be combo'd into off of many stray hits and leads to good meterless damage and corner carry. Cruel Ascension (the anti-air super) isn't a bad pick in this version by any means and there are many extravagant combo setups involving multiple supers in one combo, but many are also impractical and/or very situational. As far as more practical 1 bar combos go, you're looking at similar damage to Cruel Ascension combos utilizing her standard supers Burning Gaze and Refusal Missile for combos anyway. Because of this I recommend Core of Death over Cruel Ascension for the stronger meterless combo potential at this point in time. In the next version of the game her teleport was nerfed quite hard, so whenever we are on that version I would then drop Tricky Vision for Cruel Ascension instead.

  16. I actually really like this theory, it also explains why Elizabeth would not have a Shadow version due to the fact she was never an actual contestant in the P-1 Grand Prix and had no direct contact with the malevolent entity.

  18. Could I get an avatar of the BlazyBloo versions of Terumi and Nu-13 (eye patch over visor if possible) on the left and right respectively with my username somewhere in the middle? Color scheme and such I leave to the artist's discretion, I don't pretend to know how to make these things look nice.

Clarifications on some Mitsuru stuff via Stunedge: I'd be pretty happy if Droit actually wasn't hit as hard as everyone initially thought it was, A Droit specifically being slower didn't seem like a reasonable change to me. Also time to start getting hype for new whip combos, I want to see video of this "different way" we combo them now.

I've personally always been of a fan of 2DD combos over 2D > [6]B > etc. combos (Hazama player go figure I like chain combos ) so even if they aren't particularly new, if they become the optimal confirms I wouldn't mind that at all. But on top of that I certainly do want some new combos, and I'm super interested in seeing how Tentarafoo functions. I wonder if it will be an unblockable like Yosuke's or if it has something to do with the new projectile like someone mentioned earlier. I hope they're two separate things, two new specials would be way more fun to mess around with.

As I said earlier with the new auto combo confirmed to hit all the way through on airborne opponents 5AAA > 2B > 2DD > [4]B > 2B > C Bufula > [5]B > Sweep > B Droit should be entirely plausible. The followup to the 2DD has already been confirmed stable. Or as Jyosua stated 5AAA > OMC > 2B as a worst case scenario. Shadows retaining vanilla auto combos is certainly interesting however. I wonder if the second hit of even the vanilla auto combo has been lowered or not, if it hasn't 5AA > 5B > 2B should still work for Shadow Mitsuru. Reports specifically stated 5AA > 5B no longer worked on airborne opponents, so 2B being slower wasn't the issue for that combo. This is of course all speculation at this point, but what I can I say speculation is fun and I am hype that P4C exists in the first place. Here's hoping for some Shadow Mitsuru footage sooner then later!
