If someone refuses to tech after 22C, you are guaranteed to get at least one more dash up 3C into another 22C. Dash 3C is a good bet after 22C in general. There are other potential resets using high/low and unusual sequences. Also, just a general thought, but people need to move away from using 3C-5D combos all the time. I've probably said this multiple times before, but 2B pickups after 3C are sooooo much more stable, especially when people are mashing out long strings in an attempt to hitconfirm. Dropping combos will cost you tournament matches, so if you're serious about the game and about playing Ragna, think twice about using 5D so much. 3C combos already have range restrictions, so I dunno why people choose to limit themselves even more by using combos that require you to be even closer than normal, and are harder to hitconfirm to boot.

You can dash 6A for midscreen double Belial, you just have to be really fast.

Are you practicing in training mode, or are you trying the combo in matches? If ID connects as a CH, it makes the whole combo a LOT easier.

The first step to improving your Burst baiting game is to start hitconfirming more. Try to use strings that allow you to verify certain hits before continuing your combo. A good example would be near the end of the first round, after landing 22C at the end of your combo, you did dash up 2B into 6B, then continued with the string after 6B using 5C into 6C. Instead, it would have been better to dash up 5B after the 22C, which would have given you the opportunity to see that he didn't block and continue with a combo, instead of going for a straight mixup without checking. Furthermore, after 6B connected, instead of verifying that he was hit crouching, you went into a 6C combo on a standing hit. 6B-5C(or 2C) gives you enough time to see how your opponent was hit and continue accordingly. The whole exchange basically looked as if you already had what you were going to do planned out, regardless of how he was going to react, which isn't an optimal way to play and makes it difficult to bait Bursts. As far as Bursts in that match, the first time he Burst in the second round was after a 3C, you have time to JC and IB on reaction, then punish. In that particular situation, he Burst so late that you probably just could have held back and blocked. I'm guessing you got hit out of your 2B pickup? Odd scenario. The second Burst was basically him mistiming his Burst, so you got lucky there. In general, baiting Bursts in BB is harder, especially with Ragna because of how much recovery he has in general on his moves. In general though, use more JCable moves, try to hitconfirm and react as much as possible, and RC if you have to. Avoid using moves that require a commitment from you, like using 5D -> DC in combos. Stuff like that is really easy to Burst out of and very hard to bait Burst with.

Or you could do... 2B-3C, 2C-6B, 2C, JC j.B -> 214B, 5D, [w]236A, 236B, 7D, j.B, j.B, 5D, [h] 5B -> super for 5563 Another example would be... Throw, dash 2C-6B, 2C-6C, 2C, HJC hj.5D, [w]j.AAA -> 236A, 236B, 7D, j.B, j.B, 5D, [h]5B -> super for 5929 Though I can kind of see where you are coming from, especially with combos that cost no wolf meter, though in the case of the corner combos, I think it's slightly irrelevant unless you're straight up out of wolf meter and your bar is exed out.

You can cancel attacks with dodges at any time. Also, learn how to do synchronized block, it's insanely easy and stuns pretty much any enemy for at least a few free hits, in addition to filling your focus bar up really quickly.

Yes, but because of the way it works, you still have to time the 5B on the exact frame or you won't get it. If you press it too early, the dash doesn't come out and you just get a 5B, so no 3C aftewards into the following 22C.

That was more responding to the idea of which of his combos is practical, not necessarily what should be done with the combo thread. Do whatever you want, really.
