Actually my concern is that going by what i have read from people on japan, and the lack of gameplay posted on nico and youtube it seems that the game is not a blast to play compared to the other current options :/

While i agree that the combo system needs an overhaul, i think that you are making the mistake of seeing the problems as an spectator (comprehensible since is the only thing that we can do righ now :/ ). There are games that are boring to watch but are fun to play despite of that (HNK when anyone lands an infinite for example) My concerns are primarily about how the game has been getting less play because it grown stale due how the mechanics work on it, not because it is boring to watch (which it is, specially when we see the same damn chars over and over, there is no way to deny that). The balance would change once they overhaul the combo system, right now many balance problems com directly of how the chars abuse the mechanics

It is interesting (and sad) to see how this game has become stale in so short amount of time. I really hope that they manage to improve the game with the patch/revision that they are working on.

That is something that i also have wondered about, is like the BB community is not willing to support it despite how much they say that they love the game :/ Maybe they are skeptical that the game would do it, or maybe they don't think that BBCP will come in time?
