  1. Can someone answer some questions for me? 1.) What are Nanase's main poking tools? 2.) What's Nanase's game plan in neutral? 3.) Has anyone found out how to properly utilize her command jump during pressure and mix ups?
  2. Amateur Chaos player here. So what exactly should I be doing in neutral to control space with Chaos, and also, durring pressure. What should I do if I'm to far from my Lizard Buddy to rely on him to reset pressure?

  6. Sort of. Ramlethal usually gets very little meter off of her P and K normals, if any at all. To compensate for this however, Ramlethal gets a lot of meter off normals that use her swords. So in other words, if you want meter, it's important to throw in sword normals during pressure in combos, even if they are deployed.

  8. I'm kinda glad they got rid of the 8 person lobbies, they were great... AT FIRST But after awhile, people just started sitting around and started just doing nothing but random chatting... And there's always a few people who think it's funny to wander around the chat's and be a troll. (I had to deal with a pervert one on BB The other day.) I feel like the lobbies were a good idea in theory, but without any moderation, and given how many casual's tend to flock it, Rooms are usually the better way to go. But Hey, as long as the netcode is more stable, and rooms can fit more then 2 people. I feel like that's a major step up from +R. Also given how solid the game itself is, this already propel's Guilty Gear XRD into one of the best fighters of today.
  9. I agree, but on the note of combo damage enders. I think her Explode Overdrive will probably be the most practical considering how it's the only overdrive that isn't dependent on her swords on hand. I also can't wait to actually play with her, as a Dizzy player, I'm excited to see how her lock down game compares to Dizzy's. Anyways. I admit that when Ram-chan first was released, I was apprehensive that she'd turn into a another low tier Glass Cannon. But I'm glad I was wrong, she definitely looks like she can go toe to toe with top tiers like Zato, Sol, Faust, or Millia. Eitehr way, I want to start tinkering with Ramlethal now!
  10. Okay, Everyone. Thanks for keeping up with the information available. Oh, and on a slightly random note, I saw I think Karinchou end a combo with Ramlethal's Explode Overdrive to kill the opponent, so I think it might be possible to use it as a damage ender when going for the kill. Wasn't sure if anyone saw that or not. Also, thanks to 9:02 PM for translating the Ramlethal guide article. I'll see if Kurushi can update the first post in this thread with some exerts of that information. Thanks also to JCraile for being very helpful when it comes to collecting video's for the video thread. And thanks to everyone else for helping the Ramlethal Forum start to flourish, and I can't wait for XRD to come out so we can become a lively community!
  11. Okay, updated the first post with most of the video's from major streams during the month of May, which Included Ramlethal. EDIT: I also updated it with a tutorial on set ups and combos! Be sure to look at it if you plan using Ramlethal when XRD hits the stores! :D

I feel like Rachel's my best shot at improving as a player, and I really want to become good with Rachel. If you ever want to play, or help me improve my subpar Rachel, don't afraid to add me on PSN. So if anyone's still looking for combo routes I've had luck with 5B > 5CC > 5D > 214A~C > 236D > 6A > j.B > j.D > 2D It's a little more practical to end combos with 2D if you want Oki now, but luckily it's rolll safe which somewhat makes up for Makoto's slightly subpar mix up options. But you can also pick up with 5CC or 6C, or possible even 6B~C and end with either Corona Upper or Particle Flare for damage

  19. Okay, Partially updated the thread. I'll update it some more tomorrow. Thanks for posting video's everyone! Also quick friendly tip! To time stamp a video, just add #t=0m00s to the URL. Just input the number of minutes by the m and the numbers of seconds in front of the S and behind the M. Hopefully that makes things easier for you guys.
  20. I think so, but given that the super requires you to have both swords equipped, and Ramlethal already has better ways to spend the meter that takes effort for her to gain. Your better off using her Turanshii super. I didn't think of that, that's probably why her Super's tend to be so powerful. To compensate for her gaining meter slowly.
  21. Um, well. I never asked to be one. I just wanted to make sure I could find out as much as possible about Ramlethal and share the information. Oh, and I've been taking some notes as well. I think it's her j.D (The one where she blows her opponent away with her cape) tends to be the main combo ender mid screen because it allows her to get enough breathing room to set up Lucifero durring the knock down. It also seems to be used as her main combo extender while in the corner. I'm also not sure, but it seems like when ever she uses 6H or 6S, Their perspective balloons travel towards the area of the foe's location, instead of just flying to a random space. It also seems like players are getting smarter about having one swords swing while the other is on cool down. This pretty much closes most gaps in pressure and oki. Also, In note to her Overdrives Her gamma ray type super looks good for full screen punishes along with chip damage, but it's rarely used cause of the fact there's better options to spend the meter on. The one super where she swallows the foe with her cape seems to be her main and only reversal. As expected, while it moves her a good distance, it's super punishable on whiff. Finally, her primarily used super, the one where her buddies form a buzz saw is looking like her main oki option with meter since it carries to the corner and keeps the foe pinned down. I'm starting to wonder if this super is kinda broken given how well players like Batako steal the round with it. But with the progress players have been making with her lightly, I'd probably place her somewhere with Sol/Millia/Ky in terms of tier placement. Players are really starting to steal matches with Ram-chan. Anyway, sorry about my tangents. EDIT: Oh, I also just updated the notable player list on the Video thread, and while it may take some time. I'll be to slowly but surely update the video section.
