  2. what's the best way for Noel to approach characters with a strong zoning game like Nu, Mu, Rachel, etc.

  9. okay, so not just safejumps, but meaties in general, got it.
  10. okay, looking at Pochp's set up video. The strongest method of Oki in the corner is to end combos with a stein set up, and then go for a safe jump using either j.B or j.2C, which will either grant you a free combo if it hits, or give enough time for the stein to finish heating up to fire a laser. Sound about right?
  11. i apologize, but I'm going to opt out because I haven't been motivated to play p4a and i'm not exactly on par with the skill level of other players.
  12. it's not completely terrible. Makoto still has a decent damage output as far as character's go without resources, and she's always excelled in the corner, so it creates a bigger reward when performing corner combos. the OD nerf is frustrating, but you have to take the good with the bad. bottom line though, whining isn't an option. Either suck it up, or change mains.

  15. So let's see here Makoto's 6B can do ground bounce, and her corner damage has increased. But her mid screen damage was nerfed slightly along with her corner carry, and her j.B's untechable time. I'm not sure if these changes even out or not, but I guess time will tell. If she has better corner damage though, that might keep her viable.
  16. Um... Sorta newbie to Mu, what exactly are some good advanced set ups with steins when working with Oki or neutral?
  17. Does Valentine have any zoning potential what so ever?
  18. So how similar is Valentine to Dizzy in terms of Gameplay?
  19. So far, it's looking almost as dark as Extend for Makoto... How do her match ups look at least, I can live with the J.B and OD Particle Flare nerf, but have any of her match ups gotten better as a result to some of the other nerfs the other characters sustained?
  20. Let see here. For starters, J.C and J.B are your best friends in this match. J.C is going to smack in the ground on counter hit, and J.B has tons of priority and can combo into J.D for your advantage. While it's risky, you can Miquolet Capture to pass through the chains if the Hazama is being predictable with his zoning tactics, but remember that the projectile invuln frames don't kick in until about Frame 11. You just have to be paitent, and wait for him to make mistake in his zoning. Then it's go time. Also, try to move around a lot, you don't want to be sitting duck for his nasty cross up game.
  21. Okay, that's actually useful advice. I noticed that some times I have some luck with Hazama or Rachel using Astroid Vision to force them to guess if I'm coming in from the air or the ground, but it's very easy to punish so it shouldn't be relied on. Test
  22. good games Kubel. I can't believe I hit you 3 times with Valkrie Veil, well, kudos for getting revenge with that Shining Layered Force in our last match. I would've played a little longer, but there was a lot of lag for some reason.
