In CP you can still: 3C>22C>66>6C>6B>...Drives 3C>22C>66>6C>jumpcancel>jD>.... But, the optimal damage route is: 3C>22C>66>5B>5C>superjumpcancel>jC>jD>.... 236C can be rapid cancelled into some good damage combos. No need to chain optic barrel any more.... the new combos are already really long. The combo vids in the first page of the vids thread are a good watch.

ARC can be blamed. Maybe they wanted 95% of the profits so no good anime studios were interested. ARC maybe also wanted full artistic control which turned off any good anime director from wanting to do it. It works much like when writers pitch movies to production companies. All speculation of course. We would have to know the terms of contract to comment on what the hell went wrong.

Well that part is simple. My curiosity is in what combos can it be used, since its rare to see MF used in the Japanese match vids. I only see it in 6B starter corner combos, and BT>RC>MF. One common situation I see in the vids is a CH jD starter. It seems to me like a good place where MF could be used in the combo, but I haven't seen it happen.

I'm eager to see what is the real deal with using MF in combos. I'll probably have the game in had on the 29th... I wonder will the reduced hitstop feel more natural.

Shipping was 8900yen for EMS. I'm curious if it is actually that heavy.

Its not uncommon for Dengeki or Famitsu to give high reviews, but they are usually given to well marketed AAA games. I've never seen them give anything lower than a 5/10 though for low budget niche games. A mid 90's score would mean CP is as good as a FF game lol.... whatever that would mean.

It looks bad (animation) compared to most other popular 2013 anime. Mostly a budget problem. Hopefully they clean it up on the BD release. Lack of frames and inconsistent faces are the main problems I see.

To gain more market share for the PS4. Same reason why they bothered to make the DS4 PC compatible. If the DS4 works on PC at launch, that means it probably works with standard windows drivers and onboard PC MB bluetooth/ generic bluetooth receiver dongles. This implies that its not using anthing super proprietary in its design. By contrast, Microsoft mentioned that the XBone controller won't work for PC until 2014 (probably with a release of drivers and maybe a dongle). I'm just dropping the link and info here. Everyone is free to draw their own conclusions.

66 5B for the win. Is 6D>d6D possible in CP? I thought I saw it being used to trick a few people in the vids.

The fact that you can have full length combos off of any drive mixup hit (like d6D and d6B) followed by using d6A>22C or d5B>optic barrel is encouraging CP Noels to intiate drives from neutral or block strings.

That is probably true. I should do more dashing in a poking before resorting to unsafe moves for pressure.

PS3 DS3s won't work with the PS4 since they intentionally changed the blue tooth signal codes. Whether or not the PS4 works with old arcade sticks will depend on if the system can use generic USB controllers (like the PS3 can). I'll just have to plug something in on Nov 15th and find out. There is no official word on it from Sony. The only thing they have confirmed for generic USB devices working on PS4, is headsets.
