There was a poll on the BB wiki on mains a while back. I guess it was a good representation of what the mains were of people who "loves" BB. I imagine only very interested people would go on the wiki. I'm not sure how to find that poll now though. I'm gonna go off my photographic memory. It was something like: Ragna : over 500 votes Noel, Jin : over 400 votes Rachel, Hazama : around 300 votes Lambda, Hakumen, Platinum: around 200 votes Tager, Tsubaki, Relius, Taokaka, Makoto, Arakune, Bang :around 150 votes Litchi, Mu, Carl, Valk : around 100 votes

Pretty much what Dawn of Musou said about Relius and the the material collection. I'm guessing the console version of the mat. collection will have the story mode art (lots of it), and maybe sections for extra characters.

Hard to say. It seems like Ignis does all the fighting for him in the story scenarios, while he sits back.

I PO'd the Mu figure too. I hope it doesn't come in a ridiculously big box.

In 2 years (2015) they might come out with a CPEX for the PS4. lol. I'd rather have BB4 though. ASW needs to finish this crazy story.

I always thought Hakumen's power comes from his Susano-o unit body (something special) and he just hits people with ookami like a regular sword.

@harmless kitten Yes, I was thinking "storage" kinda like those murakumo's in the coffins, and then they were awakened later by Phantom and Terumi for some scheme. Or they could of been created by Phantom under the direction of Terumi for some scheme. Terumi would be working behind the NOL at that time so he would have the resources. Hopefully CP will shed some light on the origins of Ragna, Jin and Saya.

Haha I agree with that. I actually don't think Nine is the actual mom. I believe Ragna, Jin and Saya are test tube babies created by Nine, possibly to be perfect ars magus users or something. We all know that Nine has dabbled with human experimentation (ie: nox). It is also hinted that Ragna is artificial. If Saya and Jin are related to him, then they might be artificial as well (no big indicators of this yet, other than maybe Jin's inhuman power of order). This is why I mentioned in my deleted post as reasons why Jubei felt obliged to take care of Ragna, why Celica took in the 3 kids, and why Terumi is "interested" in them.

OMG its the NEMESIS HORIZON at WURK! That's probably what the JP speculation is. Something happens in the CP game story to explain, so Phase Shift helps with the game sales or vice versa.

Also, since officially the 360 is no longer being sold in Japan, Microsoft will likely no longer be paying any companies to go exclusive for 360 going forward.

Noel/Mu for sure has access to the knowledge, through the azure... even in Noel form she could learn all of a person's memories by touching them in CS. In Mu form she should be able to "observe things" like Rachel and Hazama does. Whether she is smart enough to do anything with that knowledge is another question.

What I was getting at was, the universe DOES exist without a record of its existence.... its the alternate universes, alternate timelines, past and future universes that can't exist without complete (every little detail) records of their existence. Yes its bad story telling. It just gets a free pass due to being a fighting game that's fun to play. RPGs get ripped apart for poorly told stories like FF13. Hopefully Mori does as he claims saying that CP do more to spell out the story and context.

That's an interesting theory. If Mori does read about physics stuff as inspiration, I'll throw this out there. On the topic of time travel in BB: There is one real science theory that says there is no "timeline" in which you can travel between different points. There is only the present. This goes with the theory of "information". It is because there is nothing in the universe (temporal as well) that stores all of the information of what happened in the past or in alternate future outcomes. This includes all the mundane things like how gas is drifting around space or what path a piece of garbage took when it floated around in the sea. Without information of it, it cannot exist or be created if someone tried to jump through a portal. In the Blazblue world, it was mentioned that the boundary was the place where memories are stored, and possibilities. I'm not sure if the boundary and the Master unit are considered the same thing or heavily connected in function. If the boundary was cut off, or maybe the Master unit destroyed, then this memory would be gone, preventing time travel and fun stuff.

LoL there is a difference between just saying that and actually doing that.

Airk: Unless you only played 1 fighting game all of 2012, i would say you are in category 1. I have some friends who still strictly play SSF4AE nothing else, and the updates to that game are hardly substantial enough to reset you to "zero". They fit under category 2. If you are learning the "fundamentals" (myself included), I don't think a version change hurts that. They are transferable skills. Why else are the pro's already doing crazy stuff after a game has just been out for a week or 2?

I welcome BB iterations for new story content. For FGs in general, I think there are 2 camps. 1. People who get bored and want to try new games. These people will want a newer version, often playing some other games between the time too. It also gives a reason to try to main a new character. 2. People who will only play what they are good at, and refuse to try new things. They care greatly for winning. These people are those that refused abandon Starcraft 1 when Starcraft 2 came out, even though the first game had been around rotting for 10 years because they didn't want to lose.

From what I have seen in the vids, C starter combos don't even seem to have a "time limit". A starter combos can hit around 2.5k before the opponent instantly techs. B starter combos can hit around 5k before opponent instantly techs. This seems to be totally independent from whether its CH or FC or regular. I think this is why you don't see players stuck dying in the corner as much in CP. If you pushed an opponent to the corner and after "reset" and hit the guy in the corner with a 5a or 2a, the corner combo is limited to around 2.5k. I'm not sure if combos started with specials/DD are different or how different.

Can Hakumen absorb (drive) charged stein shots? Or just uncharged shots?
