I'm short on BB merchandise. I have none currently. The wall scroll design is nice. I'm happy that its not just the regular box cover art or promo art like so many game posters typically are. Anyone getting the Mu-12 figure in September?

I was referring to the starter rating. It seems to have the biggest effect on combo time.

I don't think anyone has cracked the full formula for combo time yet, but the single biggest factor seems to be the first hit (properties). For example as a generalization, C starter > B starter > A starter for length of combo time. D starters, Special starters and DD starters may have unique effects on combo time. If someone has a more detailed answer, please enlighten me as well =P.

I guess that would depend on how detailed the rotoscoping models currently are. Some things would definitely need to be remodeled such as cloth and hair. In the GG xrd trailer, Ky's outfit shows a lot of cloth effects for example, if using that as a benchmark.

I don't mean 3d like Tekken, I mean 3d like GG xrd is.

If they make a 3d Blazblue for the next iteration after GG xrd, the characters might look these anime renditions. Can't wait to watch fansubs of this in October.

I've read that they are reliable off comments in forums. I've never bought from them before myself though. I have CP preordered at N Y as well. The Ebten LE has a different wall scroll than the Famitsu DX LE I think.

No picture has been released on what the wall scroll looks like. I wonder if the Ebten LE from Nippon Yassan is a proxy buy, since the Ebten LE might be a ebten.jp exclusive. Nippon Yassan does proxy buys for other exclusive items that normally don't ship outside of Japan.

ASW knows for sure. There is some definite favoritism they show when picking what characters to buff or nerf (and by how much). I feel it is slightly related to the character's in-story strength too. Hakumen, Hazama, Valk and Azreal come to mind. Rachel is the one that sticks out as not following this, but she was top tier at one point.

I wonder who is actually publishing it. It would be a nice release for Q3. I can play it after I'm done with Dragon's Crown and right before BBCP. I guess a ERSB insider could tell the truth =P

The limited edition on Nippon Yassan the Ebten limited edition. It has a different wall scroll than the famitsu one I think (there seems to be no pictures of how either looks like). The one on N-Y is much cheaper too at 11050 yen than play asia.

Nippon Yassan is reliable from what I hear (for figures). Shipping will probably be cheaper. Shipping from Japan to NA seems to be cheaper than HK (play asia) to NA in general. I should PO from there instead too.

Nice. Time to drop ~$200 on that famitsu dx pack. Something tells me Play Asia as high shipping cost =(. There was conflicting information when I searched it on google so I thought I would ask the pros here who must import lots.

Thanks for the replies. Say if I got BBCP JP version in October and install the JP trophy pack... From what Kurushii says, it sounds like the trophies will remain in Japanese, even after I install the NA version afterwards. If thats the case I should create a dummie account to play the JP version with, since I'm picky and I'm planning to get the NA version for sure.

If I buy the JP version of BBCP, will the trophies list be stuck in Japanese, even if later I buy the NA version later? My PS3 is set on english.

Is the waifu box the Famitsu DX pack? I might get it just for the unique box, and possibly lewd wall scroll which I haven't seen yet... Aksys will likely only release 1 cover version for NA I'm sure, same as with the old games.

Can anyone read what the 2 different covers are for? Is one for the limited edition? Celica on cover = playable character? lol =P

Looks like it might not come out till 2015 =( Lets hope it doesn't get totally over shrouded by a sudden SF5 announcement for next gen lol. Surely Capcom is working on it and it will probably be graphically awesome.

I think this game will do well. Graphics sell! Only a SF5 release could sideline it. With 3D models, they can even add Havok giggle physics! I think Ky's ponytail was a good way to make him more unique and not too similar to Jin and a certain "Tales" character.

Turning Noel into Mu (a puppet) was perhaps Hazama's way of nullifying her interference. It was working until Ragna works his charm. I'm surprised Hazama didn't observe that possibility. Or maybe he did observe it and it just didn't get written into the story yet since Hazama is waiting for the final troll ending to reveal his plan. >.>

Try practicing the timing of your button presses by not looking that TV and just looking at your controller when inputting the combo. For many combos, its best to be able to press the buttons right without needing to look the TV to see when moves are starting and finishing. When playing online with a bit of lag, everything visually is just thrown off and you need to be able to hit the combos by just button pressing memorization.
