  3. I think 5P is a good okizime option too. You can do it early or late. Done early, it'll whiff. Useful to confuse your opponent. You can try to do command grab or other things afterwards. Done late, it'll be blocked. Usually it's good for Faust since 5P is safe on normal block. It's like Robo's 5P, although probably not as good.

  5. Glad to see this thread still kicks ass. Okay I have an idea. But I'm gonna need Chipp's sprites. Anyone know the link? Guiltygear.ru doesn't seem to provide sprites anymore, or am I not looking it right? LOL

  7. Recently I just fought Johnny. I gotta correct myself, Johnny is no longer an easy target for Faust's 5D. And that's because Johnny got that stupid 3H. Vs Eddie, I don't have much to say since I haven't play against an Eddie player for a long time. I don't think invuln dust-ing through his block strings is safe since he's not Johnny, but I'm gonna test it anyway. AFAIK there's no sure way to counter Eddie's 6H since a good Eddie player will rarely throw out 6H point-blank.
  8. vs. Johnny : Faust outpokes Johnny on ground. So AFAIK Johnny players tend to want to try to strike Faust via air. Prepare your anti-airs. 6P, 5H, 5K, prepare them all. Jackhound eats 25% tension now (except the weird tensionless one, of course), that's a good news for us Faust players. Johnny is also an easy target for 5D. Don't forget that. j.H also gives Johnny a lot of troubles. That's all I can share for now.
  9. Crosswise heel, j.K-2K, j.K -> JC, dj.S -> DHD; the DHD will hit twice on some characters. 2-hit DHD setups started with Crosswise Heel was my (unrealistic) dream, back in #R =]

  12. Slayer has the best backdash ever, obviously. Better than Potemkin's or anyone else. And I'm not sure having trouble under pressure can be listed as one of Slayer's negative side. Every characters who doesn't have a dragon punch or anything like that is guaranteed to have trouble dealing with pressures. So, it's not just Slayer, IMO. Slayer is lucky he still has his awesome backdash, it's similar to dragon punch, one way or another.

    @Villanious : Yeah, just like the good old days. 2S looks seriously wrong. I mean, it's like only low-hitting moves can beat it. The horizontal range is beastly, too.
  14. Vs Eddie, it seems that the little Eddie in AC, while may seem really intimidating at first, can be killed rather easily. I'm an Eddie player, and I've seen CPU and other players killed my little Eddie easily when it was throwing Mawaru or Nobiru out. I dunno, maybe the hittable box of the little Eddie has been enlarged? Vs Anji, it seems that 2K and 5H work really well against him. If any of these tips is wrong, just let me know.
  15. This is my opinion on Slayer. Pros : + REALLY stupid normal moves. + Dangerous command grab. + Powerful Force Breaks. + Really safe block strings. + 632146S (Dead on Time) is like the ultimate BS. + Higher damage output. + 'Abare' potential is stupider. + BDC is still keeping his ass safe, one way or another. + Tension gain is still stupid. Cons : - Characters with good space-controlling ability still give him trouble.

    Mmm yeah, yesterday I play against a Potemkin player, and fighting him face-to-face was easier than I thought. Now I even think that it's MUCH better to fight Pot at close range, because Slayer has several advantages at close range. 2P is really fast, 2S beats almost all of Pot's ground pokes, if not all. And at close range his slide head won't be an unblockable. @Kairi : AC Slayer is the best version. One of the reason is all of his normals (except 2D?) got improved considerably. 2P is fucking ridiculous now, 4F startup and is too quick you can consider it broken. 2S still has it's ridiculous priority and is now 8F startup, that means that it's quick enough now to beat many ground pokes. 2K is really dangerous now, combo to 2H. And now you can spam ALL of his air normals. Spamming j.K or j.S is way too fun.

    Pot's 6HS into earthquake is hard to escape out of... that's a bad news. Pot = cheap fucker @#$@$ I got my ass kicked really hard last week by Potemkin 'cause I was too scared to fight him face-to-face. I jumped around too much and too reckless, the result was at least two free Heavenly Pot Buster @_@ Damn. Right now I'm practicing how to fight him at close range. Fighting him at close range isn't really a good idea, but we can't avoid it at times. Oh and I've discovered that 2S is too good now. 8 startup frames seems to be too strong.

    I think Slayer can try to fight her face-to-face in air, when she gets jumpy. Slayer's air normals are now really good. Spam-ing his j.K is really fun ^^
  19. Hmm, I never imagined someone would think that way by looking at the charts. Do you guys think I should move the gatling charts to other section of the encyclopedia (so that there won't be anyone who think that all the gatlings in the charts can combo)?

  24. Hello guys, my college period is over so I finally have free time to organize this forum. I've deleted some old threads and moved the posts to other threads. And I've made an encyclopedia thread too. If you guys have suggestions, let me know. Oh and I've changed the title of some threads, just to make it more informative.
